Potential Swimming Motility Variation by AcrR in Escherichia coliS

  • AcrR, the toxic-compounds-response regulator, regulates motility in microorganisms, presumably to escape from toxic environments. In this study, the genome-wide target genes of AcrR were investigated in a ΔacrR mutant strain by microarray analysis. In the absence of AcrR, the transcription of most flagella/motility genes was highly increased. In addition, flagella formation was increased in this mutant strain. Motility assays revealed that AcrR modulates swimming motility, but not swarming.

  • 데이터와 파일의 개수가 증가함에 따라 효율적인 파일 검색 기법에 대한 요구가 증가하고 있다. 현재까지 제안된 파일 탐색 기법은 탐색 시간이 매우 오래 걸리거나, 미리 인덱싱 과정을 거쳐야 하기 때문에 사용자가 원하는 시점에 빠르고 효율적인 파일 탐색을 제공하기 어렵다는 단점을 지닌다. 본 논문에서는 디스크의 메타 데이터 영역을 직접 접근함으로써 고속의 파일 검색을 가능하게 해주는 효율적인 검색 기법을 제안하고자 한다. 본 기법은 메타 데이터가 서로 비슷한 영역에 위치한다는 파일 시스템의 특징을 활용함으로써 디스크 내의 데이터를 고속으로 탐색하고, 이를 DB로 구성함으로써 실시간 검색을 지원한다. 또한 파일 시스템 내의 변경 사항을 빠르게 추적하여 DB를 업데이트 할 수 있다는 장점을 지닌다. 본 논문에서 제안한 검색 기법을 다수의 시스템에서 평가한 결과 기존의 기법 대비 약 20~50배의 탐색 시간 향상과 10초 미만에 실시간 검색이 가능한 상태를 구성 할 수 있음을 확인 할 수 있었다.

  • In this study, the interior acoustic field of a speaker system with rectangular closed cavity and its effect on the impedance and the sound pressure reponses are investigated by applying the finite element method to the rectangular enclosure. Based on a good agreement with the theoretical and the experimental, it is founded that FEM is useful method for the development of a speaker system generating the diverse mode.

  • A index using generation cost for planning' for representing economical efficiency of generator, However in case of Combined heat and power(CHP) the product is divided in electrical power and steam, so there are no unconditional comparison between general generator and CHP. To calculating the generation cost for planning of CHP, this study using the method that change electrical power and steam into same unit and suggest the comparing system that can compare economical efficiency with other generators.

  • This paper presents a optimal power flow calculation algorithm considering voltage and transient stability. In this method, voltage stability margin and transient stability constraints is incorporated into a optimal power flow calculation formulation to guarantee adequate voltage and transient security levels in power system. The proposed method is applied to IEEE-24 Reliability Test System and the results shows the effectiveness of the method.

  • Because of an energy efficiency and a greenhouse gas reduction effectiveness at the same time, the concern have been enlarged in the CHP But, the approach of a policy side have been achieved about the South Korea currently. This papers considered a policy side and economic side. As a result of Long Term Generation Expansion Planning from calculating the component ratio of adequate CHP, Reliability of the power system and influence of environments was analyzed.

  • 본 논문은 토너먼트 선택을 사용한 Deceptive Problem에서 최적 해(optimum)를 찾으면서 수렴(Convergence)속도를 향상시키기 위한 최적의 조건을 찾고자 한다. 이를 위해 적합도가 높은 염색체(cromosome)를 다음 세대로 전달하면서 동시에 적합도가 낮은 염색체에 대해서도 적정 수준 전달되게 하였다. 또한 기존의 여러 선택기법 중 가장 일반적으로 사용되는 토너먼트 선택 기법의 문제점을 고찰하고, 제안 방법으로 최적도 및 수렴속도를 모의 실험을 통해 비교 및 분석한다. 실험 결과로부터 제안 방법에 대한 수렴속도의 경향을 고찰하였다.

  • In this study, colorimetric characteristics of a 2.2-inch iriver MP4 based upon OLED was evaluated and compared with another MP4 based upon Liquid Crystal Display (LCD). According to IEC61966-4, the two displays were tested in terms of spectral power distribution, tone reproduction curve (TRC), luminance, contrast, correlated color temperature, 2D color gamut and spatial uniformity. Consequently, the OLED showed better performance for the first four aspects but a similar quality was observed for the rest.

  • In the paper is proposed a hierarchical adaptive fuzzy controller for balancing and position control of the inverted pendulum system. Because balancing control rules of the pendulum and position control rules of the cart can be opposite, it is difficult to design an adaptive fuzzy controller that satisfy both objectives. To stabilize the pendulum at a specified position, the hierarchical adaptive fuzzy controller consists of a robust indirect adaptive fuzzy controller for balancing, a forced disturbance generator which emulates heuristic control strategy, and a supervisory decision maker for the arbitration of two control objectives It is proved that all the signals in the overall system are bounded. Simulation results are given to verify the proposed adapt i ye fuzzy control method.
