With its recent popularity, Web is now considered as a huge repository of information. Most documents on the web have been created using HTML(Hyper Text Markup Language). Even though HTML is simple and easy to learn, it has several features that are obstacles to the efficient information retrieval. XML(eXtensible Markup Language) can provide a solution to such problems and in fact, has already been used in many applications, XML is a standard markup language for exchanging data on the web. It can describe a document structure freely by defining its DTD, which enables efficient integration and retrieval of data on the web. In this paper, we propose a versatile and efficient XML document manager. Its features include (i) form-based XML editor that enables easy creation of new XML documents, (ii) automatic document converter that can transform HTML documents with similar structure into XML documents automatically, and (iii) GUI-based DTD editor.

The cyber attacks targeting the systems of national and public organizations in the front line of cyber security have been advanced, and the number of cyber attacks has been on the constant rise. In this circumstance, it is necessary to develop the security evaluation technology to prevent cyber attacks to the systems of national and public organizations. Most of the studies of the vulnerability analysis on the information systems of national and public organizations almost focus on automation. In actual security inspection, it is hard to automate some parts. In terms of security policies for threats, many different plans have been designed and applied in the managerial, physical, and technical fields, giving particular answers no matter how they are subjective or situational. These tendencies can be standardized in OCIL(Open Checklist Interactive Language), and partial automation can be achieved. Therefore, this study tries to implement XML Converter in order for OCIL based security level evaluation with typical evaluation questions.

음성 기술의 발달과 VoiceXML 1.0의 제정으로 인해 표준화된 방식으로 이동 단말기와 전화를 통해 음성으로 웹 컨텐츠에 접근할 수 있게 되였다. 거의 모든 웹 컨텐츠들은 HTML로 작성되어 있으며, 기존의 HTML로 작성된 수많은 웹 컨텐츠에 음성으로 접근하기 위해서는 HTML 문서들을 VoiceXML 문서로 변환하여야 한다. 이를 수동으로 변환하기 위해서는 많은 시간과 비용이 필요하게 된다. 본 논문에서는 이 문제를 해결하기 위해여 HTML 문서률 VoiceXML 문서로 자동 변환하는 HTMLtoVoiceXML변환기의 설계 방안을 제시하였다.

Recently, WWW(World Wide Web) has become a source of a large amount of information, and is now recognized not only as an information-sharing tool, but also as an information repository. Currently, the majority of documents on the web were created using HTML(Hypertext Markup Language). Although HTML is simple and easy to learn, its inherent lack of describing document structure makes it difficult to retrieve information effectively. One possible solution would be to convert such HTML documents into XML (extensible Markup Language) documents. This is a standard markup language for exchanging data on the web. It can describe a document structure freely by defining its own DTD (Document Type Definition). This makes it possible to integrate, store, and retrieve data on the web efficiently In this paper, we will propose a converter that automatically converts HTML documents with similar pattern into XML documents by analyzing the document structure and recognizing its path information.

XML은 텍스트를 기반으로 하는 데이터 표현의 표준이다. 하지만, 이진 데이터 저장 방식에 비해 파일에 크기가 커서 자원을 적게 사용하는 편재형 컴퓨팅 환경에 적용하기 어려운 단점을 가진다. EXI는 XML의 형태는 그대로 유지하면서 파일의 크기를 줄이는 이진 XML 의 W3C 표준이다. 한 응용에서 사용하고 있는 XML 을 다른 응용에서 재사용하기 위해서는 변환이 필요하고, 일반적인 XML 문서의 변환에는 XSLT가 이용된다. 하지만, XSLT는 텍스트를 기반으로 하고 있어 EXI 포맷에 바로 적용할 수 없다. 본 논문은 자원을 적게 사용하는 편재형 컴퓨팅 환경에서 EXI 포맷 XML 문서의 재사용성을 높이기 위해 서로 다른 응용의 EXI 포맷 XML 문서의 변환 방법을 제안한다. 그리고, 다양한 응용환경 중 EXI 포맷의 XHTML 문서를 EXI 포맷의 VoiceXML로 변환하는 시스템을 보인다. 이는 자원이 적은 편재형 컴퓨팅 환경에서 EXI 포맷 XML 문서의 재사용성을 높이고 EXI 포맷 XML 활용에 기여할 수 있다.

최근 다양한 응용 분야에서 점차 증가하고 있는 XML 문서에 대한 효과적 검색을 위해서 많은 검색 시스템들이 제안되고 있다. 그러나 이러한 검색 시스템은 XML 문서의 구조적 특성을 명확하게 알지 못하거나 질의어 작성에 익숙하지 못한 사용자에게 XML 문서를 검색하는데 많은 어려움을 주고 있다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 본 논문은 복잡한 계층의 XML 문서를 의미 있는 엘리먼트를 중심으로 계층을 단순화시켜서 검색에 이용할 수 있도록 도와주는 XML 문서 변환기를 제안한다. XML 문서 변환기는 XML 문서의 부모-자식 관계, 형제 관계 등의 계층 정보를 유지하면서 문서를 단편화 시켜주는 도구이다. XML 문서 변환기와 더불어 이것을 이용하여 구현된 XML 문서 검색 시스템의 계층적 출력 인터페이스에 대하여 함께 설명하도록 한다.

To access massive and various HTML documents that are in the web using wireless Internet equipments, another WML document that is equal to the HTML document must be written, In the case Web documents written by HTML are massive, the construction of a WML site with the same information needs much cost of space and time, This paper designs and implements the HTML-XML converter that alleviates such a problem. The HTML-WML converter translates the Web document written by HTML to the WML document for portable wireless equipments, The HTML-XML converter has advantages that it reconstructs WML document dynamically according to portable wireless equipments and processes various image formats such as GIF, JPG, BMP, and so on, The HTML-WML converter can be used as not only a utility of the WML editor but also a real-time converter on wireless Internet.

This paper presents is for the design and implementation of EDI document exchange system based on XML To create a customized document of the users' choice, it designed and created the transaction processor and the template manager, and to make it accessable with the original EDI, a converter function is included, Also, on this system, this protocol stores EDI message structure that needed to exchange as XML format and controls it as DOM API for user can use previous system, And provides interface for user can create template files with converter and transfer necessary elements that can be chosen by user. For this purpose, This system proposes a shows structure information and document converting mechanism solution of EDI documents based on by using XML which does not show proper document conversion mechanism solution in other system so far.

전자도서관과 같은 문서 정보 검색 시스템의 구축을 위한 중요한 요소 기술은 지금까지 출판물로 만들어 놓은 기존의 방대한 자료와 이미 다양한 형식으로 전자문서화 되어 있는 문서정보를 사용자에게 얼마나 단일 형식으로 통일화시켜 효과적으로 제공할 수 있는가이다. 본 논문은 이러한 문제에 있어서 표준화된 단일 전자문서 형식으로 XML 문서를 적용시키기 위해 국립 중앙 도서관 표준 SGML DTD를 XML DTD로 재정의한 후, 일반적이로, 다양한 특성을 지닌 멀티미디어 기술 문서를 표준화된 XML 문서로 자동 변환하는 자동 XML 변환기를 개발하는 것을 목적으로 하고 있다. 자동 XML 변환기는 다양한 문서형식의 전자문서를 표준화된 XML 문서로 자동변환함으로써 문서 정보검색 시스템에서의 문서정보의 교환, 저장방법상의 표준화 및 문서 형식의 단일화를 제공해 줄 수 있다.

XML 문서로부터 정보를 검색하거나 추출하기 위해 쓰이는 질의 표준으로 XQuery 제안되었다. 하지만 사용자들이 XQuery를 사용하기 위해서는 XML문서의 구조를 알아야만 한다는 단점을 가지고 있다. 이에 문서 구조에 의존하지 않는 질의인 CXQuery가 제안되었지만 CXQuery가 XML을 파싱하여 DBMS에 저장한 뒤 DBMS에서 질의를 처리하기 때문에 XML문서를 직접 처리하지 못하고 한 단계 변환의 과정을 필요로 한다는 단점을 가지고 있다. 이 논문에서는, 사용자가 질의한 CXQuery를 그에 해당하는 XQuery로 변환하는 변환기를 개발함으로써 CXQuery의 문서 구조 독립적인 질의가 용이 하도록 하고 XML문서에 대해 직접적으로 질의 처리가 가능하도록 하였다.
