A Modeling Tool for X-Window Application Software Development

  • This paper presents a modeling tool, so-called X-ADD (X-window application Analysis & Design Diagram), which is useful for the understanding of existing X-window application program and the development of new X-window application software. This X-ADD tool is available for the X-window applications maintenance activities such as program understanding, and program analysis by the concept of reverse engineering. In addition, it supports the analysis and design for the new X-window application system development. Therefore, by the use of this tool, the visibility of the existing X-window application programs can be enhanced and modeling for the design of new X-window application systems can be easily made.

  • 'Contig 구성문제'는 random sequencing 단편들로부터 DNA 염기 서열의 정보를 밝혀낼 경우 발생하는 문제이다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 contig 구성문제를 해결하기 위한 알고리즘을 구성하였으며, X-window 응용 프로그램인 XFAP을 개발하였다. XFAP에서는 dimer 빈도 비교 방법을 사용하여 중첩 가능성이 없는 단편을 효과적으로 제거하였다. 이 방법은 단편 쌍 중첩에서 최소 수용 중첩 길이 내의 각 단편 사이의 dimer 빈도 차이를 이용하여 단편 쌍을 선별하는 것이다. 또한 단편 쌍 최대치 정렬 과정의 메모리 사용량을 줄이기 위해서, Myers 알고리즘을 적용하여 linear space에서 최대치 정렬을 구하는 방법을 사용하였다. 그리고 본 프로그램은 사용자들에게 편리한 그래픽 환경을 제공하기 위해서 Motif 라이브러리를 사용하여 X-window에서 구현되었다. 본 프로그램의 테스트 데이터를 생성하기 위해서 GenBank 데이터베이스에서 일정 길이의 염기 서열을 추출한 다음, sequencing시 일어날 수 있는 모든 오류들을 고려하여 단편 샘플을 생성하였다. 단편 샘플에 대해서 dimer 빈도 비교 방법의 효과 및 실행 시간을 측정하였다. 특히 dimer 빈도 비교 방법의 효율은 단편의 길이에 비례하여 증가하는 것으로 나타났다.

  • 본 연구에서는 사용자가 편리하게 사용할 수 있는 대화식 선형변환 기법을 이용한 선형설계 프로그램을 개발하였다. 선형변환 기능은 기존의 선형 Variation 기능을 가진 선박 계산 Package의 CB, LCB변환 이외에 Deadrise 생성 및 제거, 중앙 횡단면 형상 변환, 선수미부 형상변환, 단면형상 특성 변환 등 다양한 기능을 가지고 있다. 프로그램 수행시 사용자의 편의와 대화식 입출력작업을 위해 X-Window를 근간으로 하는 OSF/Motif를 이용한 그래픽 사용자 인터페이스(Graphical User Interface: GUI)를 구현하였고, 2,3차원 그래픽 라이브러리인 X-PLOT과 GLBAX를 이용하여 변환결과를 가시화하였다. 또한 선박 기본계산 프로그램과 내항 및 조종 프로그램과의 접속을 위한 interface 모듈도 개발하였다.

  • In this paper, we will present the Aspheric Surface Program for optical element. X-ray optical element designed to give a high resolution and reflectively in order to observe the living cell in the range of the water window. According to optical design, we developed the Aspheric Surface Program using the visual basic. Using the Aspheric Surface Program, we directly machined the electroless nickel bulk.

Improvement of Storage Performance by HfO2/Al2O3 Stacks as Charge Trapping Layer for Flash Memory- A Brief Review

  • As a potential alternative to flash memory, HfO2/Al2O3 stacks appear to be a viable option as charge capture layers in charge trapping memories. The paper undertakes a review of HfO2/Al2O3 stacks as charge trapping layers, with a focus on comparing the number, thickness, and post-deposition heat treatment and γ-ray and white x-ray treatment of such stacks. Compared to a single HfO2 layer, the memory window of the 5-layered stack increased by 152.4% after O2 annealing at ±12 V. The memory window enlarged with the increase in number of layers in the stack and the increase in the Al/Hf content in the stack. Furthermore, our comparison of the treatment of HfO2/Al2O3 stacks with varying annealing temperatures revealed that an increased annealing temperature resulted in a wider storage window. The samples treated with O2 and subjected to various γ radiation intensities displayed superior resistance. and the memory window increased to 12.6 V at ±16 V for 100 kGy radiation intensity compared to the untreated samples. It has also been established that increasing doses of white x-rays induced a greater number of deep defects. The optimization of stacking layers along with post-deposition treatment condition can play significant role in extending the memory window.

  • In this study, sound transmission loss (STL) is investigated on the multi-layered windows used in the KTX-sancheon and next generation HEMU-400x high speed train. Using TLOSS, which is developed as a special purpose STL analysis program, STLs of the multi-layered glass windows are analytically investigated and compared with the mass law result. Window specimens for the two train models are manufactured and intensity transmission losses are measured based on ASTM E2249-02. The problems in aspect of sound insulation are diagnosed on the two window models. The aim of this study is to provide useful data for the improvement of the interior noise in the high speed train.

  • Pipelines have the highest capacity and are the safest and the least environmentally disruptive way for gas or oil transmission. Recently, failures due to corrosion defects have become of major concern in maintaining pipeline integrity. A number of solutions have been developed for the assessment of remaining strength of corroded pipelines. However, these solutions are known to be dependent on material properties and pipeline geometries. In this paper, a Fitness-For-Purpose type limit load solution for corroded gas pipelines made of the X65 steel is proposed. For this purpose, a series of burst tests with various types of corrosion defects are performed. Finite element simulations are carried out to derive an appropriate failure criterion. And then, further, extensive finite element analyses are performed to obtain the FFP type limit load solution for corroded X65 gas pipelines as a function of defect depth, length and pipeline geometry. And also, a window based computer program far the assessment of corrosion defect, which is named as COPAP(COrroded Pipeline Assessment Program) has been developed on the basis of proposed limit load solution.

  • 재사용에 관한 연구는 여러 가지 방향에서 연구되어 왔으나 실제로 객체들을 재사용하는 성공사례는 특히 드물다. 그 이유는 재사용을 지원하는 기술적인 환경이 부족하기 때문이다. 본 논문에서는 C++ 객체들의 재사용성에 관한 정보들을 분석하고, 추출된 정보들을 정보 DB에 저장하고 운영하는 시스템에 관하여 연구하였다. 이 개발 시스템에서 사용자들은 객체들의 명세서 정보와 객체적, 절차적 속성의 품질 정보들을 브라우징하여 볼 수 있고, 재사용 정보 DB에 없는 객체들은 사용자가 직접 정보 분석 환경을 이용하여, 자동으로 객체의 정보들을 분석 및 테스트 할 수 있다. 이 시스템은 C언어로 X-Window OSF I/Motif 2.1.1 하에서 구현하였다.

성기능증진 프로그램이 유방암 생존 여성의 성스트레스, 성만족 및 부부친밀감에 미치는 효과 (Effect of Sexual Function Improvement Program for Breast Cancer Survivors on Sexual Distress, Sexual Satisfaction and Marital Intimacy)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to examine effects of a sexual function improvement program on sexual distress, sexual satisfaction and marital intimacy among breast cancer survivors. Methods: With quasi-experimental design, a total of 54 women after breast surgery were assigned into experimental group (n=28) and control group (n=26) after recruited via convenience sampling. They were endocrine surgery outpatients in university hospital at Chonnam province. Experimental group received a sexual function improvement program 5 sessions over 5 weeks. Sexual distress, sexual satisfaction, and marital intimacy were examined with self-report structured questionaries. Data were analyzed using $x^2$ test, Fisher's exact, independent t-test, and analysis of covariance with SPSS 17.0/window program. Results: Women who participated in the sexual function improvement program had lower sexual distress (F=27.29, p<.001), higher sexual satisfaction (t=3.09, p=.003) higher marital intimacy (F=17.51, p<.001) than the women who did not participate. Conclusion: Results suggest that a sexual function improvement program can be effective strategy to improve sexual distress, sexual satisfaction and marital intimacy. Therefore, this program can be regarded as useful nursing intervention program for breast cancer survivors.

  • In the entertainment industry which has great uncertainty, it is essential to predict public preference first. Thanks to various mass media channels such as cable TV and internet-based streaming services, the reality audition program has been getting big attention every day and it is being used as a new window to new entertainers' debut. This phenomenon means that it is changing from a closed selection process to an open selection process, which delegates selection rights to the public. This is characterized by the popularity of the public being reflected in the selection process. Therefore, this study aims to implement a machine learning model which predicts the winner of , which has recently been popular in South Korea. By doing so, this study is to extend the research method in the cultural industry and to suggest practical implications. We collected the data of winners from the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd seasons of the Produce 101 and implemented the predictive model through the machine learning method with the accumulated data. We tried to develop the best predictive model that can predict winners of by using four machine learning methods such as Random Forest, Decision Tree, Support Vector Machine (SVM), and Neural Network. This study found that the audience voting and the amount of internet news articles on each participant were the main variables for predicting the winner and extended the discussion by analyzing the precision of prediction.
