실시간 3 차원 링클 측정 시스템 (Development of Online 3D Wrinkle Measurement System)

  • Roll to roll (R2R) system, known as 'web processing', is the process of producing these electronic devices on a roll of flexible plastic. With the need of improved performance and productivity in R2R industry, effective control and on-line supervision for web quality is essential. In this report, we present a system for on-line measurement of wrinkles, one of defects incurring due to compressive stresses developed in the web. This system is able to capture an image generated when a well defined line shape laser beam passes through a transparent web. The system calculates 3D shape information, including the height of the wrinkle on the web, and displays the images for the shape information of the web in real time. By using area scan camera and machine vision laser, this system takes more advantages of setting up as a simple and low cost system compared to the line scan camera systems that widely used in web manufacturing. Specific calibration method and analysis on the achievable accuracy will be discussed.

  • Recently, Ultra High Strength Steel (UHSS) sheet metal has been widely used to improve lightweight structures in the automobile industry. Because UHSS sheets have high strength but low elongation, it is difficult to control winkle and thinning for complex shaped products. The draw beads on die surface were introduced in this study to reduce wrinkle and thinning. The positions and strength values of draw beads were selected as design variables and optimized using finite element analysis. The beads positions and strength of a mold for B-pillar part were designed with the proposed optimization method. The accuracy of die design from optimization was verified by comparing with the results from 3-D scanned geometry.

  • An analysis system for evaluating the design of dieface of stamping press dies is developed. The die design analysis system interfaced with CATIA via universal or NASTRAN data format provides the design information such as binder-wrap, punch contact status, section length change ratio, wrinkle symptom etc., which are crucial in predicting the defects of initial shape of the sheet in the dieface design stage. The graphic post-processor of developed system which displays 3-dimensional shapes of tool and die and analysis results, helps the interpretation of design evaluation. The dieface design analysis system was tested in draw dies of front floor panel and quarter panel of auto-body in order to verify the usefulness and validity of the system The examples show that the developed system would be a good tool in evaluating dieface designs.

  • In this paper, a three-dimensional part model is constructed for the finite element analysis of hemming models where hemming defects frequently occur. The roller path is modeled as the boundary condition with the one-dimensional beam element and the revolute joint model. With the constructed part model and the roller movement, a finite element analysis has been pursued in order to identify the hemming load and hemming defects such as wrinkling in the flange region. The analysis result shows that the maximum hemming load occurs in the intake situation while oscillatory behavior of the load is found especially when hemming the curved model because of wrinkle generation. This paper compares the amplitude and the period of wrinkle between the analysis result and the experiment, which shows good agreement with each other.

  • N-Acetyl-D-glucosamine (NAG)는 보습제로 사용되어지는 히아루론산의 구성물질인 뮤코 다당류의 일종이며, 특히 화장품으로서 응용은 보습제로서의 사용이 최초이다. 본 실험에서는 게나 새우의 껍데기에서 추출된 키틴을 탈아세틸화 하여 얻은 NAG를 화장품 원료로서 적용하고자 하였다. 현재 기능성 주름 원료로 알려진 레티놀(retinol)과 NAG를 비교하기 위하여 섬유아세포의 활성능력 및 콜라겐 생성촉진 효과를 비교 실험하였으며, 제형 내에서의 안정성을 위하여 HPLC로 역가를 측정하였다. 실험결과, 게의 껍질로부터 유도된 NAG는 피부에 자극을 전혀 주지 않으면서 섬유아세포의 세포활성 및 콜라겐의 생성을 촉진시키는 효과를 나타내었으며, 헤어리스 마우스를 대상으로 실험을 실시한 결과 피부층의 변화를 통하여 주름의 감소 효능을 볼 수 있었다.

  • The stainless steel basket-bowl, a critical component of washing machines, is characterized by its unique two-tiered circular shape. This study explores the potential of a draw-bead free die design to address tearing concerns in the prospective plastic layer during the drawing operation. In order to prevent wrinkles that may arise from the absence of a draw-bead, a two-stage punch configuration is proposed. The influence of the blank holder force on wrinkle reduction is also examined. Finite element analysis is employed to evaluate the proposed die design by analyzing the wrinkle shape and strain mode. The results confirm that the stainless steel basket-bowl can be successfully drawn without wrinkles utilizing the proposed two-stage punch without a draw-bead on the blank holder. These findings contribute to the development of more efficient and reliable manufacturing processes for the stainless steel basket-bowl production.

노니 추출물의 주름개선 효과연구 (Anti-wrinkle Effect of Morinda citrifolia (Noni) Extracts)

  • 주름생성의 주요 원인은 자외선, 공기 오염, 담배 연기, 스트레스 등을 들 수 있다. 특히, 자외선은 피부에 다양한 형태로 영향을 주어 깊은 주름, 잔주름, 피부거침, 피부건조와 같은 현상을 발생시켜 피부노화를 유발시킨다. 이러한 주름 생성 해결 및 피부 노화 문제의 해결은 화장품에서 가장 활발하게 연구되는 분야 중 하나이다. 최근에 열대 식물인 노니로부터 추출한 유효성분이 주름 개선에서 가장 중요한 콜라겐 생합성을 촉진하는 효과를 확인하였으며, 특히 노니 추출물로부터 분리한 스코폴레틴(scopoletin)이 이러한 효과를 주는 활성 성분임을 확인하였다. 스코폴레틴은 인체 섬유아 세포를 이용한 콜라겐 합성 촉진 효과 시험에서 농도 의존적으로 콜라겐 합성을 촉진하는 활성을 보였다($0.2{\mu}g/mL-89.5%$ 콜라겐 생합성 촉진. 또한, 주름 개선 효과를 확인하기 위해 3% (v/v) 노니 추출물을 함유한 크림을 이용하여 12주 동안 임상연구를 수행하여, 안면의 주름 감소 정도를 측정하였으며 이 제품이 주름을 감소시켜주는 뛰어난 효과가 있다는 것을 확인하였다. 이러한 결과들은 노니 추출물이 주름 개선효과가 매우 높으며, 노화 방지 원료로서 이용 가능성이 매우 높다는 것을 보여주는 것이라 할 수 있다.

해송자 오일의 피부 항노화 및 주름 개선 효과 (Skin Anti-aging and Anti-wrinkle Effects of Pinus koreaiensis Seed Oil)

  • Objectives : The aim of this study was to investigated the anti-aging and anti-wrinkles effects of the pinus koreaiensis seed(PKS) oil. Methods : The anti-oxidant effect was performed by beta-carotene bleaching assay and the intracellular proteome was analyzed expression of each 15 proteins by 2-D electrophoresis. And fatty acid was analysed by gas chromatography. Anti-wrinkle effect was analyzing human skin by the PRIMOS system. Results : Fatty acid analysis of PKS oil has shown oleic acid was 49.7% and linoleic acid was 34.1%. And the antioxidant effect was about 125% compared with alpha-tocoperol(0.1%) by beta carotene bleaching assay. In 2D PAGE analysis, fifteen protein changes in five mechanisms which was collagen synthesis pathway, MMPs, ECM-cell interaction, cytokine, antioxidant enzymes were analyzed. In case of anti-wrinkle effect was proved in vivo by analyzing human skin by the PRIMOS system. The analysis results of eye wrinkles for 4 weeks showed an improvement effect of over 6%. Conclusions : In this study, the amount of protein change in the five mechanism through the cell experiment and the skin anti wrinkle efficacy by the human in vivo test were investigated. As a result pinus koreaiensis seed oil by supercritical extraction could be used as a anti-aging and anti-wrinkle substance for the skin.

3D 프린팅 기법을 이용한 하모닉 드라이브(Harmonic Drive) 설계 및 응용 분석 (Design of a Novel 3D Printed Harmonic Drive and Analysis of its Application)

  • Harmonic drives have attracted increasing attention with the development of materials, parts, and related equipment. Harmonic drives exhibit high deceleration, high accuracy, and light weight. The stiffness of flexible splines according to the radial load is studied using a commercial FEM program to design the structure of the flexible spline and finite element to improve the weight and price competitiveness of harmonic drives. In addition, several studies have measured and compared friction coefficients based on 3D printed tread patterns. However, owing to the characteristics of plastic materials, a decrease in stiffness in the radial direction is inevitable. To prevent a decrease in stiffness in the radial direction, we designed and manufactured flex splines with a wrinkle shape. Through structural analysis, the reaction force and stiffness in the radial direction were determined. In addition, the maximum angle of the mound was derived by theoretical calculations, and the performance of the harmonic drive was compared with the results obtained in the mound experiment. Structural analysis shows that the shape of wrinkles decreased the stress and reaction force and increased the safety factor in comparison with that of the circular shape. During performance verification through continuous experiments, the developed harmonic drive showed continuous performance similar to that of an actual tank model. It is expected that the flex spline with a compliant spring and wrinkle shape will prevent a decrease in the radial stiffness.

주름이 있는 막재료의 정적 및 동적 해석 (Static and Dynamic Analysis of Wrinkled Membranes)

  • 본 논문에서는 멤브레인 요소를 사용하여 주름이 있는 멤브레인의 정적 및 동적거동을 연구하였다. 해석은 상용유한요소 프로그램인 ABAQUS를 사용하였으며 멤브레인 요소에서 주름은 벌칙매개변수에 의한 물성치 수정 방법을 사용자 부프로그램으로 구현하여 고려하였다. 해석과정은 먼저 이론해가 멤브레인 문제에 적용하여 타당성을 검증하였고, 모서리에서 하중이 가해진 사각형 멤브레인에 대한 해석을 수행하여 주름이 정적 및 동적거동에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다.
