CALS has been a hot issue in the information-related industry in the world in order to achieve the competitive advantage of a firm or a nation. Nontheless, while there is an abundance of literature advocating the importance of introducing CALS, little attention has been given to the analysis of processes to be applied by CALS. This research conducts a case study on Firm H, investigating its processes for which CALS should be deployed and prioritizing these processes. Based on the analysis of the interviews with CALS experts who are familiar with the processes of Firm H, this paper concludes that CALS must be applied to the processes of the purchase/supply for Firm H, followed by such processes as the development of telephone exchangers, the operations management, and the service.

Fuzzy data is a phenomenon often occurring in real life. There is the inherent vagueness of classification terms referring to a continuous scale, the uncertainty of linguistic terms such as "I almost agree" or the vagueness of terms and concepts due to the statistical variability in communication [20] and many more. Previously, such fuzzy data was approximated by non-fuzzy (crisp) data, which obviously did not lead to a correct and precise representation of the real world. Fuzzy set theory has been developed to represent and manipulate fuzzy data [18]. Explicitly managing the degree of fuzziness in databases allows the system to distinguish between what is known, what is not known and what is partially known. Systems in the literature whose specific objective is to handle imprecision in databases present various approaches. This paper is concerned with the different ways uncertainty and imprecision are handled in database design. It outlines the major areas of fuzzification in (relational) database systems.

In this paper we present a review of school information education about technical high school in domestic. The review is based on an extensive research in the practical literature. Business of various forms such as industry, education, and medium is appearing by supply of Internet of all the world. The Information Technology market is developing by leaps and bounds among them, but suitable school information education disgrace and improvement plan were not readied in domestic Information Technology and communication situation. Therefore, this paper?wishes to satisfy purpose by school information education improvement plan and manpower practical conditions about ERP education. So that, is used to accelerate medium and small enterprises information through qualitative, quantitative valuation of medium and small enterprises information manpower supply and demand as well as domestic school information.

This article begins by exploring recent developments in the use of the world wide webs in language testing about what a Web-based language test (WBT) is and how they are used in language testing. After a brief review of computer-based testing, WBTs are defined and categorized as low-tech or high tech. Since low-tech tests are the more feasible, they will constitute the focus of this paper. Next, item types for low-tech WBTs are described, and validation concerns that are specific to WBTs are discussed. After a brief overview of the combination of computer-adaptive and Web-based tests, the general advantages as well as design and implementation issues of WBTs are considered before examining the role that testing consequences play in deciding whether a WBT is an appropriate assessment instrument. It is argued that WBTs are most appropriate in low-stakes testing situations; but with proper supervision, they can also be used in medium-stakes situations although they are not generally recommended for high-stakes situations. Some possible ideas for future research are suggested.(169)

The purpose of this study is to help the students in middle school improve their English listening comprehension by presenting effective teaching and learning techniques using animation. A good animation provides a self-contained world with language expressed in a virtual context. A few animation such as "Mulan", "The Emperor's New Clothes", and "Gulliver's Travel" are presented. The materials are primarily for English listening comprehension, enhance awareness of American culture and life-styles, and to encourage students' active role in learning English. It is suggested that their use with content-based instruction, where animation provides relevant schema background, makes language relevant and comprehensible. Practical aspects of classroom instruction are discussed, focusing on the adaption of pre-viewing, while-viewing, and post-viewing activities to the selected animation. It is concluded that careful animation selection, purposeful lesson planning, and the integration of pre-viewing, while-viewing, and post-viewing activities into the content-based lesson encourage natural language skills, especially the listening comprehension and students' interest in English.

The purpose of this study was to study literature research on the possibility of education for social justice. First, the principle and rule of education for social justice were unfolded on the basis of contents that education for social justice has to emphasize freedom, democracy, equality of opportunity, and economic growth, and has to be student-centered, collaborative, experienced, knowledged, and practical. Second, the curriculum of education for social justice were unfolded on the basis of contents that education for social justice has to emphasize skills for reading the world and skills for activism, and has to emphasize human rights, democracy, and reservation. And third, the teacher education for social justice were unfolded on the basis of contents that education for social justice has to emphasize care, justice, critique, anti-bias education, critical pedagogy, multicultural education.

This paper analyzes the difference between theoretical cost of quality and real world cost. Examined are the theoretical cost structure of quality, it's measurement styles, a process based improvement strategy of quality cost, and possible adaptation of decision making concepts in enhancing the cost structure. This study will contribute to the literature in delineating an improvement process of quality cost by adjusting service policy.

This paper provides an analysis of the linear constituent order of the NP in three different types of languages based on 33 languages: the NP with the prenominal modifiers, the NP with the postnominal modifiers, and the NP with both prenominal and postnominal modifiers (the mixed NP). Languages have NPs that feature different linear order, of the NP constituents. We attribute such different linear constituent orders within the NP to the linguistic distance and the limits imposed by the constituency and adjacency. We use the various kinds of alignment constraints which properly reflect the linguistic distance between the noun and each constituent. Language universals on word order provide us some general orders of various NP constituents. If we adopt the linguistic distance, the limits imposed by the constituency and the adjacency, and the alignment constraints, we can explain the complicated differences of NP constituent orders of languages of the world.

횡문근육종은 간배세포에서 발생한 비교적 드물고 악성도가 극히 높은 종양이다. 환자는 50세 남성으로 약 2개월간의 사성을 주소로 내원하였다. 검사결과 우측 성대의 전 1/3부위에 0.5 cm$\times$0.3cm크기의 종물을 볼 수 있었다. 전신마취하에서 종물을 절제하였으며 생검결과 배상형의 횡문근육종임 이 확진됐다. 저자들이 알기로는 후두부횡문근육종의 증례는 현재까지 전세계적으로 24례의 보고가 있었다. 후두부에서 발생한 횡문근육종의 1례를 문헌적고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다.

Under the current wave of globalization, engineering programs in Korea are determined to adopt an Accreditation System for Engineering Education, which is inevitable to acquire competitiveness in the world market. To meet the needs of engineering students to pursue their career as internationally qualified engineer, a development of tailored English course for them is needed. I tried to develop a Technical English syllubus as an ESP(English for specific purpose) course for engineering students based on the job description provided by O'NET(Occupational Information Network). O'NET describes and defines what kinds of abilities are needed for various workers, including engineers. Mechanical Engineer type is selected for research and 17 abilities are listed to be the most needed abilities which are over 50% in importance score and 6 language related abilities are listed among them, which shows the importance of language abilities in the engineering job sites.
