The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of creative thinking activities and STEAM Literacy through the use of the STEAM program utilizing Regional Science Experience Resource for elementary students. For the purpose of this study, a teaching plan and worksheet for students using STEAM Programs was developed and applied. The results of this study are as follows: First, the improvement in the scientific attitude score has statistically meaningful difference(p<.05). Second, the change in students' STEAM literach by applying the STEAM program utilizing Regional Science Experiences Resource has statistically meaningful difference (p<.05). Third, according to the analysis of a questionnaire used to evaluate the program, students had a positive perception of the STEAM program and gained higher level of satisfaction about the lesson. Therefore, STEAM Program utilizing Regional Science Experiences Resource applied in this study might be useful to improve STEAM Literacy, and can be expected to improve scientific attitude and should be widely applied to Science education.

The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of the creative problem solving and scientific attitude through the science-based STEAM program for the elementary gifted students. For the purpose of this study, a teaching plan and worksheet for students based on STEAM was developed and applied. The objects of this study were the fourth grade of both an experimental class (18 students) and a comparative class (20 students) at the gifted class located in Gyeonggi Province. The results of this study were as follows: First, the change in students' science creative problem solving in the experimental group applying science-based STEAM program has statistically meaningful difference (p<.05). Second, the scientific attitude score of the experimental class improved, but it has no meaningful difference statistically. Third, according to the analysis of questionnaire for evaluating the program, experimental class students had a positive recognition in respect of the STEAM program and got higher satisfaction about the lesson. Therefore, science-based STEAM program applied in this study might be useful to improve the creative problem solving, and can be expected the scientific attitude' improving and better be widely applied to gifted education.

In order to make students more interesting in statistics class, a small visual basic program is introduced. This program, which can be executed through the Excel Macro, can immediately collect many individual questionnaire files that were filled up by participatory students and consolidate into one Excel worksheet.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to develop and apply an environmental impact assessment program for apartment building elements, based on the building materials of the LCI DB, which can link the LCA results of building materials and buildings. Method: For this purpose, a framework for building elements was established, and several building material combinations were developed. In addition, the LCA method for quantifying environmental load emissions from the building materials of each site was applied to establish an environmental impact database of the building materials of the LCI DB. Result: An environmental impact assessment program, based on a Microsoft Excel worksheet, was developed for apartment building elements. This program can link the environmental impact assessment of building materials and building units. To validate the program evaluation results that were obtained in this study, a comparative analysis was carried out using the results of existing evaluation methods. The error rate was estimated to be 5% for environmental impact assessment using existing evaluation methods.

Under the influence of globalization, South Korea has seen a sharp rise in interracial families. South Korean society faces various difficulties since it has not prepared for the stable settlement of families. Therefore, it is necessary to initiate marital education for the settlement of multi-cultural families in a healthy and democratic way. This researcher has developed a marital education program for multi-cultural families. To reflect the special characteristics, this work required the investigation of multi-cultural families in Gyeongsangbuk-do. The purpose of this work is to improve conjugal relations among multi-cultural families in a formative period of family relations to help those families to settle down early. The program consisted of four steps and 12 sessions. It featured an increase in application flexibility to an actual site by session, and includes a worksheet applicable to an actual site to understand the absence of communication and cultural differences in multi-cultural families during a formative period of family relations. In so doing, it was designed to easily perform nonverbal education. This work is expected to contribute to an improvement in conjugal relations of multi-cultural families in a formative period of family relations and help those families to settle down in a stable way.

Musculoskeletal disorders(MSDs) are one of the major issues in shipbuilding industry. Main risk factors of MSDs include manual handling of heavy weight, awkward posture, repetitive tasks, prolonged static muscle contraction, and so on. in this study, Using the three-dimensional digital human modeling and simulation method we made up a worker and work posture on a virtual environment. To verify this simulation we compared both traditional ergonomic analysis on a real worker and digital program analysis on a digital human. And this paper shows that it is possible to reduce the rate of MSDs in the shipbuilding industry because it means we can change poor posture mid surroundings into better ones.

For the purpose of this study, a teaching plan and worksheet for students using Eco-STEAM Programs was developed and applied. Through the questionnaires and the analysis of students' outcomes, the effects on Environmental literacy and STEAM Attitude in both quality and quantity were verified. The results of this study are as follows: First, the improvement in the Environmental Literary score has statistically meaningful difference(p<.05). Second, the change in students' STEAM attitude by applying the Eco-STEAM program has statistically meaningful difference (p<.05). Third, according to the analysis of a questionnaire used to evaluate the program, students had a positive perception of the STEAM program and gained higher level of satisfaction about the lesson. Therefore, Eco-STEAM Program applied in this study might be useful to improve Environmental Literacy, and can be expected to improve STEAM literacy and should be widely applied to Science education.

The purpose of this study was to develop and evaluate a nutritional education program for preschool children in association with Center for Children's Foodservice Management, childcare facilities and home in order to provide nutritional knowledge and change food attitudes in children. The program was repeated three times using the same educational theme and consisted three steps. Step 1 involved visiting education with teaching tools by a dietician. Step 2 involved home education with a worksheet and participating in events with parents. Step 3 involved repeated education with a textbook by a preschool teacher education reports sent to the center. The subjects of this study were 3 to 5-year-old children at 89 childcare facilities located in Busanjingu. Interest in meals at childcare facilities, dietary guidance for parents of children, and dietary attitudes of children were evaluated before and after education. Number of parents interested in meals managed by childcare facilities (kitchen visiting, meals observation, progress of children's education) increased after education. Mean scores for meal awareness in parents in the form of three questions (proper food distribution, hand washing before mealtime, nutritional and hygienic satisfaction with meals) significantly (p<0.05) increased after education. Mean dietary guidance for parents' scores for all questions except table manner significantly (p<0.01) increased after education. Mean dietary attitudes for children in the form of six questions (try to eat various vegetable, eat meals without leaving, wash hands before mealtime, eat cleanly, reduce sodium intake and keep table manner) also significantly (p<0.001) increased after education. As a results, the nutritional education program applied in this study, positive influenced children's nutritional knowledge and dietary attitudes, and parents' dietary guidance of children.

Recently, entrepreneurship education has been emphasized in order to bring creative innovation to the fourth industrial revolution era. The purpose of this study is to suggest methods to promote practice by developing an educational program based on the maker education model to foster entrepreneurship of adolescents proposed in the previous study. For this purpose, we developed two kinds of programs and materials according to the subject and the level for the 3rd grader in middle school and first grader in high school. The final output was composed of the workbook for students, the guidebook for teachers, the PPT, and the worksheet for a team activity. The pilot workshop of the developed program was conducted for 14 middle school students. The final program was developed after being received advisories by three experts. This study is meaningful in that it can contribute to foster entrepreneurship education in the field by proposing specific programs required for practicing maker education for entrepreneurship.

The Purpose of this study is to analyze the importance and satisfaction on the items related to rural education farm management. The survey was carried out on the operators of rural education farm from October 6th, 2014 to April 30th, 2015, and 144 questionnaires were used for the final analysis. According to the analysis result, In the first quadrant, the environment of the farms(safety of the education farms, accessibility to the farms) and the existing customer management(dealing actively with the customer complaints, consulting with schools regarding the hands-on education and the feedbacks) were included. In the second quadrant, fourteen items were included. To mention these items in detail, the environment of the farms(lounge area for the guiding teachers), customer management(diversification of the publicity for the education farms, efforts to secure loyal customers, efforts to create new customers), campaigns of publicity and contents of publicity management(diversification of the publicity channels for education farms, off-line contents management, on-line contents management), ensuring professionalism(worksheet development and utilization, periodical supplemental education for operators), hands-on education programs(new program development, customized program development, distinguished program development), costs(efforts for cost reduction, fees for hands-on education) were included. In the third quadrant, the environment of the farms(size of the education farms), publicity activities and publicity contents management(enthusiastic publicity activities), strengthening professionalism(participation in the training programs related to rural education farm management) and in the fourth quadrant, the environment of the farms(environmentally-friendly and aesthetic natural landscape, convenient facilities such as powder rooms and washstands, parking lots) were included.
