고주파 수동소자 유전체용 $Ba_{0.5}Sr_{0.5}TiO_{3}$ 박막의 유전특성에 관한 연구 (Study on dielectric properties of $Ba_{0.5}Sr_{0.5}TiO_{3}$thin films for high-frequency passive device)

  • In this paper, we investigated dielectric properies for BST thin films that was deposited on MgO/Si substrates using RF magnetron sputtering. In here, MgO film was used to perform that a diffusion b arrier between the BST film and Si substrate and a buffer layer to assist the BST film growth. A d eposition condition for MgO films was RF Power of 50W, substrate temperature of room temperature and the working gas ratio of Ar:O$_2$ were varied from 90:10 to 60:47. Finally we manufactured the cap acitor of Al/BST/MgO/Si/Al structure to know electrical properties of this capacitor through I-V, C-V measurement. In the results, C-V aha racteristic curves was shown a ferroelectric property so we measured P-E. A remanent poliazation and coerceive electric field was present 2$\mu$C/cm$^2$ and -27kV/cm respectively at Ar:O$_2$=90:10. And a va clue of dielectric constant was 86 at Ar:02=90:10.

추진제 공급압력이 액체로켓엔진의 성능에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Propellant-Supply Pressure on Liquid Rocket Engine Performance)

  • 가스발생기 사이클 액체로켓엔진에서 추진제의 공급압력 변화에 대한 성능 즉, 연소압, 터빈 파워, 엔진 혼합비, 가스발생기 연소가스의 온도 변화를 제시하였다. 로켓엔진의 주요 13개 시스템 레벨 변수를 이용하여 엔진 성능을 수치적으로 계산한다. 산화제 공급압이 증가하면 연소압과 터빈 파워는 증가하며 연료 공급압이 증가하면 연소압과 터빈 파워가 감소한다. 연료 유량 증가에 따라 감소된 가스 발생기의 혼합비는 연소가스 온도를 감소시키며 터빈 구동매질로서의 연소가스 물성을 저하시킨다. 연료 유량 증가에 따라 감소된 터빈 파워는 엔진 추력에 직접 영향을 미치는 주연소기의 연소압을 감소 시킨다.

  • As a rocket propellent of hydrocarbon fuels, the characteristics of liquefied natural gas was evaluated with the viewpoint of the constituents and content, the cooling performance as a coolant, and characteristic velocity and specific impulse as parameters of the engine performance. Content of methane was a principal factor to determine the characteristics as a rocket propellant and more than 90 % of it was needed as a fuel and coolant in the regenerative cooled liquid rocket engine. Some constituents of the liquefied natural gas can be frozen by the pre-cooling of the pipe lines, therefore they can be a factor disturbing the normal working of engine. In case the content of methane is around 90% in the liquefied natural gas, a normalized stoichiometric O/F mixture ratio of 0.75 is suggested for a nominal operation condition to get the maximum specific impulse and characteristic velocity.

음속 및 초음속 노즐을 통한 Gas-Solid Suspension 유동에 대한 해석적 연구 (Analytical Study on the Gas-Solid Suspension Flows through Sonic and Supersonic Nozzles)

  • Gas-solid suspension 유동에서의 입자운동과 그 운동이 유동장에 미치는 영향을 명시하고, 이 유동에 대한 이해를 얻기 위해 많은 연구가 수행 되어 왔다. 본 논문에서는 gas-solid suspension 유동에 대한 노즐의 입구/출구 압력비, 입자/기체 부하, 입자의 직경에 따른 영향 등을 연구하기 위한 분석적 모델을 개발 하였다. 노즐을 통한 유량, Mach수, 추력계수 및 정압 변화에 대한 입자/기체 부하의 영향을 분석하였다. 그 결과로부터 입자의 존재로 인해 충격파의 강도가 줄어드는 것으로 판단되며, 입자직경이 커질수록 속도는 작아지고, slip velocity는 커지게 될 것이다. 또한, 더 작은 직경의 입자에 대한 suspension 유동은 이상기체에 대한 단상유동의 결과와 같은 경향이 나타나며, 주위 압력에 따라 더 큰 입자/기체 부하나 배압비에 대한 추력계수가 더 크게 나타났다.

도로변 구두수선대 실내.외의 이산화질소 농도 및 거리에 따른 이산화질소 감소 - 서울시와 아산시의 비교 연구 - (Indoor and Outdoor $NO_2$ Concentration of Shoe-stall near Busy Road and $NO_2$ Decay by Distance from Roadside - Comparative Study between Seoul and Asan -)

  • Workers who work at indoor and outdoor environment near busy road are suspected to be exposed to high-elevated air pollutant levels during working hours. This study evaluated the working-time nitrogen dioxide ($NO_2$) exposure for workers (repairmen and polishers) of shoe-stalls. Since shoe-stalls have particularly been located near busy road in Korea, workers might be high exposure to $NO_2$ from traffic exhaust as well as indoor sources of shoe-stall such as portable gas range (butane gas) during working hours. In this study, we measured the indoor and outdoor $NO_2$ concentrations of shoe-stalls. Simultaneously, outdoor $NO_2$ concentrations of building through sidewalk from shoe-stall were measured. High $NO_2$ exposure for workers of shoe-stalls was considered to be inflow of outdoor source of exhausted emission from vehicles and indoor source from usage of gas range to polish the shoe. Indoor/outdoor $NO_2$ concentration ratio ($0.94{\pm}0.22$) in Seoul was higher than that ($1.06{\pm}0.34$) in Asan, because ambient $NO_2$ level was high in Seoul and usage of gas range was prevalent in Asan. According to $NO_2$ concentrations by distance from roadside to building through sidewalk, $NO_2$ concentrations showed the decreased trend with distance. The results of this study can be utilized by municipal authorities in urban planning for evaluating effects of future traffic planning and land use.

FTS법으로 제작한 ZnO/AZO 박막의 결정학적 특성 (Crystallographic Properties of ZnO/AZO thin Film Prepared by FTS method)

  • The ZnO thin films were prepared by the FTS (facing target sputtering) system, which enables to provide high density plasma and a high deposition rate at a low working gas pressure. We introduced the AZO thin film in order to improve the crystallographic properties of ZnO thin film because of the AZO(ZnO:Al) thin film has an equal crystal structure to the ZnO thin film. ZnO/AZO thin films were deposited at a different oxygen gas flow ratio, R.T. 2mTorr working pressure and a 0.8A sputtering current. The film thickness and c-axis preferred orientation of ZnO/AZO/glass thin films were measured by ${\alpha}$-step and an x-ray diffraction (XRD) instrument. In the results, we could prepare the ZnO thin film with c-axis preferred orientation of about 6$^{\circ}$ on substrate temperature R.T. at O$_2$ gas flo rate 0.5.

틸팅 패드 기체베어링의 정상상태 성능해석 (Steady-State Performances Analysis of a Tilting-Pad Gas Bearing)

  • In this paper, the steady-state performances analysis of a tilting pad gas bearing(TPGB) we analyzed by using finite element method for compressible Reynolds' equation. TPGB is used in a high-expansion-ratio expander running at a speed of 230,000 rpm. In order to solve the nonlinear finite element equations, the Newton-Raphson method is applied. The variations of the loading capacity, friction force and tilting angle of a single pad v.s. eccentricity direction of eccentricity and bearing number are investigated. The condition for the equilibrium of a pad, which is important for safe working of the bearing, is stated. The performances of the three pad bearing such as loading capacity, friction moment are predicted.

  • 스크롤 펌프는 초청정 진공 시스템에서 많이 사용되고 있지만 막상 수소 배기 특성에 대해서 잘 알려져 있지 않다 이런 정보부족은 수소를 다량 사용하는 핵융합 실험장치에서 스크롤 점프가 사용 가능한지 판단하기 어렵게 만든다 이 논문에서는 특히 수소에 대한 스크롤펌프의 배기속도, 압측비 및 역류특성을 측정하기 위해 구성한 실험장치, 측정절차와 실험결과에 대해 기술하고 논의했다.

유도결합 플라즈마-마그네트론 스퍼터링 방법을 이용한 저온 폴리실리콘 제조 (Fabrication of Low Temperature Poly-Silicon by Inductively Coupled Plasma Assisted Magnetron Sputtering)

  • Polycrystalline silicon thin films were deposited by inductively coupled plasma (ICP) assisted magnetron sputtering using a gas mixture of Ar and $H_2$ on a glass substrate at $250^{\circ}C$. At constant Ar mass flow rate of 10 sccm, the working pressure was changed between 10mTorr and 70mTorr with changing $H_2$ flow rate. The effects of RF power applied to ICP coil and $Ar/H_2$ gas mixing ratio on the properties of the deposited Si films were investigated. The crystallinity was evaluated by both X-ray diffraction and Raman spectroscopy. From the results of Raman spectroscopy, the crystallinity was improved as hydrogen mixing ratio was increased up to$ Ar/H_2$=10/16 sccm; the maximum crystalline fraction was 74% at this condition. When RF power applied to ICP coil was increased, the crystallinity was also increased around 78%. In order to investigate the surface roughness of the deposited films, Atomic Force Microscopy was used.

  • Zinc Oxide(ZnO) thin films on Si (100) substrate were deposited by RF magnetron sputter with changing sputtering conditions such as argon/oxygen gas ratios, RF power, and substrate temperature, chamber pressure and target-substrate distance. To analyze a crystallographic properties of the films, $\theta/2\theta$ mode X-ray diffraction, SEM, and AFM analyses. C-axis preferred orientation, resistivity, and surface roughness highly depended on $Ar/O_2$ gas ratios. The resistivity of ZnO thin films rapidly increased with increasing oxygen ratio and the resistivity value of $9{\times}10^7{\Omega}cm$ was obtained at a working pressure of 10 mTorr with $Ar/O_2$=50/50. The surface roughness was also improved with increasing oxygen ratio and the ZnO films deposited with $Ar/O_2$=50/50 showed the excellent roughness value of $28.7{\AA}$.
