Objectives : The study enquires into OHB and its importance of preschooler mothers, based on perceived experiences of OHE. It also investigates mothers' sense of responsibility for children's oral health. The purpose is to enhance the effectiveness of OHE and its orientation. Methods : From April 20th to June 15th, 2011, 14 nurseries or preschools were randomly selected from childcare facilities of one gu(borough) in Busan. The objects of study are mothers of four to seven-year-old children. The collected survey data were analyzed using SPSS 12.0 for Windows. Results : 1. There is a statistically significant difference(p<0.01) in relations between the mothers' working status and perceived experiences on OHE. 2. On the survey about OHB practices, there are significant differences(p<0.001) in toothbrushing before breakfast, after meals, in three minutes and after refreshments Significant differences(p<0.01) are also shown in toothbrushing after eating fruits. 3. On the survey about the importance of OHB, there are statistical significances(p<0.001) in toothbrushing manner-rather than the number of it-toothbrushing in three minutes after meals and following the correct way of toothbrushing. There are also significant differences(p<0.05) in brushing teeth for more than three minutes. 4. There are significant differences(p<0.001) in mothers' periodic dental examination, children's periodic dental examination and training experience on children's toothbrushing. 5. On the survey about the sense of responsibility for children's OHE based on experiences of OHE, there is a significant difference(p<0.05) in that many replied OHEis "much-needed" regardless of their experiences on it. Conclusions : The results show that of infants' mothers, those with experience on OHE, have an accurate knowledge about toothbrushing, due to the effectiveness of the education. Both groups, however, replied that children's OHE is much needed, suggesting problems about the accessibility of the OHE.
The observations on climate change show a clear increase in the temperature of the Earth's surface and the oceans, a reduction in the land snow cover, and melting of the sea ice and glaciers. The effects of climate change are likely to include more variable weather, heat waves, increased mean temperature, rains, flooding and droughts. The threat of climate change and global warming on human and animal health is now recognized as a global issue. This presentation is described an overview of the latest scientific knowledge on the impact of climate change on zoonotic diseases. Climate strongly affects agriculture and livestock production and influences animal diseases, vectors and pathogens, and their habitat. Global warming are likely to change the temporal and geographical distribution of infectious diseases, including those that are vector-borne such as West Nile fever, Rift Valley fever, Japanese encephalitis, bluetongue, malaria and visceral leishmaniasis, and other diarrheal diseases. The distribution and prevalence of vector-borne diseases may be the most significant effect of climate change. The impact of climate change on the emergence and re-emergence of animal diseases has been confirmed by a majority of countries. Emerging zoonotic diseases are increasingly recognized as a global and regional issue with potential serious human health and economic impacts and their current upward trends are likely to continue. Coordinated international responses are therefore essential across veterinary and human health sectors, regions and countries to control and prevent emerging zoonoses. A new early warning and alert systems is developing and introducing for enhancing surveillance and response to zoonotic diseases. And international networks that include public health, research, medical and veterinary laboratories working with zoonotic pathogens should be established and strengthened. Facing this challenging future, the long-term strategies for zoonotic diseases that may be affected by climate change is need for better prevention and control measures in susceptible livestock, wildlife and vectors in Korea. In conclusion, strengthening global, regional and national early warning systems is extremely important, as are coordinated research programmes and subsequent prevention and control measures, and need for the global surveillance network essential for early detection of zoonotic diseases.
The objective of this study attempt to examine the prospect whether conventional catch-up theory is also applicable to knowledge intensive industry like Open Source Software(OSS), and the implication from this study can be working as a stepping stone for followers. To do this, we conducted Korean SW firm's interview, and examined U.S. firm's archivings and second source of informations by means of empirical study. We use the inflection point of paradigm shift and difference of technology regime as a framework for empirical study of catch-up process between U.S. and Korean OSS firms. We find that conventional catch-up theory is no more applicable to explain OSS firm's catch-up processes. We also identified the elements that will accelerate the catch-up processes more effectively from the comparison of technology regime between U.S. and Korean OSS firms. As a result, we diagnose the limitation of conventional catch-up theory and discuss the new technology regime which will, ironically, promote the catch-up processes from the condition of low appropriation.

Purpose: This study was designed to explore what experiences nurses had while caring and providing emotional support for patients. Methods: Participants were eight nurses working at hospitals for more than one year. Data were collected from June, 2006 to January, 2007 through in-depth interview by using tape-recordings. Data were analysed with the phenomenological method proposed by Colazzi(1978). Results: From significant statements, 4 clustered themes, 7 themes and 23 sub-themes were extracted from the essential meaning of the emotional experience of hospital nurses. The 4 clustered themes were 'movement of mind', 'affection and service for patients', 'worthwhile and conflict' and 'control oneself'. The 7 themes were 'special feeling', 'rapport formation', 'consideration', 'human interaction', 'value discovery', 'loss of volition', and 'keep to balance'. Conclusion: Although nurses had tough experiences for providing care for patients' emotional support, they had also experienced spiritual maturity from its experience. The result of this study would contribute for nurses not only to care for patients who need emotional support but also to develop knowledge in nursing.
The purpose of this study is to examine university graphic design curricula to cultivate creative specialized manpower equipped with practical skills. To attain the goal, this author investigated the curricula of four-year, three-year, and two-year universities located in the capital area including Seoul and interviewed those working in 10 specialized design companies located in Seoul and Incheon. According to the findings of analyzing the curricula, four-year, three-year, and two-year universities all emphasize practices based on projects and inquiries more rather than the mastery of basic design. Among the areas, publication graphic designs are emphasized the most, and the next are visual multimedia designs. However, advertising marketing designs are not or hardly emphasized in the curricula. But specialized university education demanded by those specialized design companies is the education emphasizing the mastery of basic design more rather than practices based on projects and inquiries. Concerning the cultivation of specialized graphic designers having central roles as the pillars of knowledge industry or creative industry demanded in this age, it is needed to have a new perspective to reorganize specialized education grounded on close cooperation and favorable relationship between universities in charge of specialized education and those specialized companies.
This study explores the meaning of life insurance planner's job experiences achieving job security, high performance and high income. After 6 of life insurance planners working in the field were chosen as the study participants, we use narrative approach to studying the meaning of their job experiences. The study shows that perception about job competency of planners depends on the level of experience: candidates who had no experience at all feel that anyone can perform planner's job, new employees after introduction training program see planners can do with product knowledge and consulting competency, and experienced people admit they can perform successfully only when they have good attitude towards customers and do all their work in a conscientious manner. Also, the meaning of planner's job experiences is identified as awareness of work value and serving customers with their commitment. The anticipated factors that make planner's job performed successfully are playing a role as a teacher, doctor, and angel, being regarded as happiness preacher for economic stability of individuals and families, and displaying their performance as experts.
Purpose: The purpose of this survey was to investigate emergency department nurses' recognition of forensics nursing and their educational needs for forensics nursing education. Methods: Data were collected via questionnaires from 167 emergency department nurses who were working in 7 university hospitals. Nurses' experiences of trauma or accidents and their recognition of and educational needs for forensic nursing education were assessed. Results: All subjects reported having suffered bodily injury due to falling or serious traffic accidents; 92.2% reported having suffered bodily injury caused by suicide attempts; 91.6% reported having experienced physical violence or abuse; 76.0% reported having experienced sexual assault or abuse; 68.9% reported having experienced some difficulties during their nursing care due to lack of forensics knowledge; and 88.6% reported never having been trained in forensics nursing. The educational needs score for "forensics nursing" was 3.61; the needs score for "abuse- and violence-related education" was 3.65; the needs score for "incident data collection related education" was 3.47; and the needs score for "forensics theory related education" was 3.34. Conclusion: The findings of the study underscore a strong need to develop an educational program on forensics nursing for emergency department nurses.

Natural gas hydrate (NGH) is emerging as a new eco-friendly source of energy to replace fossil fuels in the 21st century. It is well known that the Natural Gas Hydrate contains large amount of natural gas about 170 times as much as its volume and it is easy to be stored and transported safely at about $-20^{\circ}C$ under atmospheric pressure due to so called "self-preservation effect". The option of gas transport by gas hydrate pellets carrier has been investigated and developed in various industry and academy. The natural gas hydrate pellet carrier is on major link in a potential gas hydrate process chain, starting with the extraction of natural gas from the reservoir, followed by the production of hydrate pellets and the transportation to an onshore terminal for further processing or marketing. In recent years, Korean project team supported by Korean Government has been working on the development of NGH total systems including novel NGH carrier since 2011. In order to increase the knowledge on the NGH pellet carrier developed and to understand the major hazards that could have significant impact on the safety of the vessel, this paper presents and evaluates the pros and cons of cargo holds, loading and unloading systems through the analysis of current patent technology. Based on the proven and well-known technologies as well as potential measures to mitigate sintering and minimize mechanical stress on the hydrate pellet in the self-preservation state, this study presents the conceptual and basic design for NGH carrier.
The development of standards and guidelines of rehabilitation nursing has been the major concerns for providing better nursing to the rehabilitation clients. As the patients with stroke and spinal cord injuries are the most prevalent physical disabilities in Korea, this study focussed on the nursing diagnoses of these two groups of patients. In order to identify the nursing diagnoses frequently used In their practice for the patients with stroke and spinal cord injuries, a survey was done with the questionnaire form developed by the research team. The surveyee were the staff nurses working at rehabilitation wards more than 2 years from 8 general hospitals in Korea, They identified and set the priorities of 13 nursing diagnoses from 79 stroke patients and 10 nursing diagnoses from 35 patients with spinal cord injuries during the periods from March 1 to June 2, 1999. The identified nursing diagnoses for the stroke patients are impaired physical immobility, sensory-perceptual alteration, activity intolerance, self-care deficit, altered defecation, altered urination, risk for injury, unilateral neglect, impaired skin integrity, altered thought processes, pain, altered health maintenance, dysreflexia. The identified nursing diagnoses for spinal cord injuries are altered urination, altered defecation, impaired skin integrity, pain, risk for injury, reflex incontinence, impaired physical immobility, self-care deficit, activity intolerance, knowledge deficit.
There are situations in e-commerce that are altogether new and to which the existing rules cannot apply. The uncertainty and business risk is too high for trading partners to deal with certainty. Therefore existing law must be changed to e-commerce law so that it provides certainty and enforceability in the e-commerce. Legal rules applying to the commerce and international commerce, in particular, contracts, proper law, jurisdiction and so on, have improved with time and experience. It has been found that the problems arising in the context of e-contracting were due to the absence of experience in electronic contracting and an absence of knowledge on how best to solve the problems. Thus, UNCITRAL Working Group on Electronic Commerce held an extensive discussion on issues related to electronic contracting and prepared and revised the Preliminary Draft Convention on International Contracts Concluded or Evidenced by Data Message from the thirty-ninth session in 2002 and prepared the Draft Convention from forty-first session which applies to international contracts concluded or evidenced by means of data messages. An electronic contract is concluded when the acceptance of an offer becomes effective, and an offer becomes effective when it is received by the offeree, and an acceptance of an offer becomes effective when the indication of assent is received by the offeror according to this Convention. Electronic contract may be concluded by the interaction of an automated computer system and natural person or by the interaction of automated computer systems, and a contract formed by a natural person that accesses an automated computer system of another person has no legal effect in case the neutral person made a material error in a data message. The purpose of this paper is to raise the understanding of the Convention on the Electronic Contracting by studying the contents of Draft Convention on Electronic Contracting and comparing Draft Convention with preliminary Draft Convention and finding the difference, characteristics and problem.
