Evaluation of Structural Behaviour of High Performance Permanent Form with Stainless Steel Fiber

  • Nowadays, the stripping work of form has generated some problems such as increasing total constructing cost result from delayed work schedule by the stripping work of form and environmental issues by wasting the debonded form. According to recent research for form work, it has studied about permanent form to solve economic and environmental problem which is commented above. In this study, high performance permanent form method was developed and tested by adopting COM and TEN specimens adopted on the Compression and Tensile section then the structural behaviour was investigated. In the test result, the specimen adopted the form showed better structural performance than control specimen in the point of ductility, failure mode and ultimate load.

Work Condition Effects of Construction Field Managers and Safety Managers on Job Satisfaction (건설현장 관리자와 안전관리 담당자의 근로조건이 직무만족에 미치는 영향 분석)

  • The safety management is one of important factors. However, the satisfaction of safety manager is lowering. Therefore, this study focuses on comparing the impact that working conditions have on the job satisfaction of field and safety manager in construction field. The results of in this study, the basic wage, medical care, and leisure activity were analyzed as a positive impact on job satisfaction. In addition, the comparison result of the field manager and safety manager showed that safety manager appeared to be a greater impact on the basic wage than the field manager. Also, this study showed that the medical care and leisure activity have a positive impact on the job satisfaction of field manager, but the industrial accident and accommodation facility have a positive impact on the job satisfaction of safety manager.

  • The rapid growth and development of ICT (Information and Communication Technology) and internet services has boosted the adoption of Mobile Government services all around the globe. There is a huge increase in the adoption of government services during COVID-19 pandemic. Existing Mobile Government (MG) solutions are not trustworthy and secure. This paper provides secure and trustworthy solution for mobile government, proposes a centralized smart governance architecture which is based on trust manager. Our proposed work has Wireless Bridge Certifying Authority (WBCA) and Wireless Public Key Infrastructure (WPKI) thereby ensuring security and privacy. Our proposed work ensures trust with WBCA as WBCA acts as a Trust Manager (TM). Proposed protocol has less computational cost and energy cost

  • 저가의 개인용 컴퓨터를 고속 네트워크 장비와 시스템 독립적인 통신 라이브러리를 이용하여 연결함으로서 병렬처리 프로그램을 수행할 수 있는 클러스터 시스템을 구축할 수 있다. 클러스터 시스템은 이를 쉽게 구성하는 개별 시스템의 교체 및 추가로 인해서 이기종화 된다. 본 논문에서는 이기종 시스템으로 구성된 클러스터 시스템의 성능 향상을 위해서 MPI Work Packet Manager (WPM) 라이브러리를 제안한다. 실험 결과에 의하면 이기종 시스템으로 구성된 클러스터 시스템에서 WPM 라이브러리를 적용한 병렬처리 프로그램이 이기종 클러스터 시스템의 성능을 적절히 활용하고 있음을 알 수 있다.

  • Inexpensive high performance computer systems combined with high speed networks and machine independent communication libraries have made cluster computing a viable option for parallel applications. In a heterogeneous cluster environment, efficient resource management is critically important since the computing power of the individual computer system is a significant performance factor when executing applications in parallel. This paper presents a dynamic task manager, called DWM (dynamic work manager). It makes a heterogeneous cluster system fully utilize the different computing power of its individual computer system. We measure the performance of DWM in a heterogeneous cluster environment with several kernel-level benchmark programs and their programming complexity quantitatively. From the experiments, we found that DWM provides competitive performance with a notable reduction in programming effort.

  • It is necessary for the park tree manager to have the current information about the status of trees, which can help him with right decisions. However, there are many problems in the existing management method such as huge amount of data, tedious work, and the difficult update work due to the lack of necessary data or the inappropriate data record and management method. The sole use of database management system(DBMS) cannot slove these problems because it cannot handle graphic data based on the locational information. So, it is imperative for the park manager to have locational data as well as attribute data of the park tree concerned. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to develop the personal computer-based, user friendly park tree management information system, which deals with attribute data(DBMS) and graphic data(using the CAD) together within the integrated environment. The park tree management information system developed in this study provides a complete operating environment for data input, update, query, delete, and retrieve. The major advantages of this system are as follows: 1) To search the location and distribution of trees. 2) To record, store, and manage data easily. 3) When the manager is changed, delivery of the park tree work is convenient. 4) The system can help the manager with the correct information for the efficient park tree management.

  • The current evaluation time period for the construction management service is the project completion or after project completion. Therefore, the construction manager has the following problems. First, it is difficult to prepare the evaluation due to the new field movement of the existing participating engineer. Next, the CM work is complex as well as extensive. Therefore, the critical success factors of the construction technology services evaluation are required as a systematic performance standard of CM work. In this study, we extracted the critical success factors that can systematically prepare the evaluation from the early stage of the project through in - depth interviews with experts. And, this study was analyze the priority of each factor by using AHP technique. As a result, the most important factors were related to the systemization of the preparation process, the construction manager work capabilities and practical construction management. And the priorities of all factors were analyzed high in the factors suggested by the owner groups. The results of this analysis are expected to provide the standards that construction management service performer carry out structured management of construction management throughout the project.

Study on activities of some occupational health nurses in Kyungnam area (경남지역 일부 산업간호사의 업무수행에 관한 연구)

  • Authors purposed to observe activities of occupational health nurses and it's related factors, and to suggest the way that induct better occupational health nurses' activities with questionaire to 87 occupational health nurses who individually work as health manager in the plant. The questionaire included type of plant and number of workers, general characteristics, work conditions, activities, etc. Major findings are as follows. 1. 82.8% of occupational health nurses were third decade. 93.1% graduated junior college or college. And 82.8% were not married. 2. General work conditions: 40.2% were belonged to safety-health section, 98.85% were mere clerks. 60.9% worked less than weekly 44 hours, and an annual salary of 50.6 % was between 10 million and 14 million won. 3. Work condition related to health manager work: there was separated health care room in 94.3%, working period as health manager(occupational health nurse) was less than 5 years in 70.1%, 49.4% had the out-of-health manager work. In 87.4%, occupational physician was appointed, only 6.9% of them were full time, 52.9% of them worked little in the plants. The problems related to workers' health were discussed with industrial nurses in 88.5%. 4. Attitude for their work: 88.5% were thought that their work is important for workers' health care, 57.5% satisfied to work as health manager. In 51.7%, motive to being industrial nurse were the appropriate aptitude. 5. Activities: General medical care in 100% were carried out, in 97.7% works related to general health examination, in 100% works related to special health examination were carried. But works related to use of protective apparatus were carried out in 20.8%. 6. Factors related to level of activities: In cases who solved the health related problems by themselves, the level of activites was significantly higher than in others. In cases there were full time occupational physician, the level of activities was significantly lower. 7. Occupational health nurse's needs: 100% wanted regular education, 89.7% wanted the qualifying examination. As the results, author suggests that the right of self-control is given to occupational health nurses and the work of occupational physician is clearly defined for the induction of the better activities of occupational health nurses.

  • This paper suggested a web based error manager for societal security service. This is a system that is suitable for detecting, sharing and recovering software error based on multimedia CSCW(Computer Supportes Cooperated Work). With error sharing system, a group cooperating users can share error applications. Our a web based error manager for societal security service enables user to share error objects through interaction awareness. This method has a file sharing, a window copy, a window overlay, or a window sharing. We implemented the web based error manager for societal security service so that the users participated in collaborative work may refer shared error objects as the same view to others.

Exploring the Difference in Acceptance of Smart Work among Levels of Leadership Styles

  • According to the development of smart technologies such as smart phones, tablet PC, and SNS communication, the necessity of smart work that can change the working environments in organizations has been emphasized. However, while there are many organizations that wish to adopt smart technologies, there are those that have been skeptical until now about its potential success. Leaders may especially have different viewpoints concerning the efficacy and effectiveness of smart work depending on the industries, characteristics of the work, etc. Therefore, this research looks to investigate whether there may be differences between leaders (manager, project manager, supervisor, etc.) and non-leaders (team member, staff, etc.) group in accepting smart working through empirical and exploratory approaches.
