OFDMA 기반 셀룰러 시스템에서 핸드오버 기법의 성능 Trade-Off 분석 (Performance Trade-Off Analysis of Handover Schemes in OFDMA-based Cellular Systems)

  • Handover is a technical methodology to support mobility of wireless communication users, which mainly affects the capacity of wireless communication systems and the quality of service (QoS) of link level signal. However, in OFDMA-based cellular systems, there are few published technical reports investigating handovers with respect to diversity gains and resource consumption depending on what handover technique is adopted. In this paper, we propose handover schemes exploiting transmit diversity and macro-diversity in order to increase capacity of OFDMA-based wireless communication systems, and analyze their performance. In cellular environments, depending on what handover scheme is selected, average signal-to-interference-and-noise ratio is calculated first for a handover user in order to evaluate the link level QoS. Through this technical evaluation for handover schemes, we conclude what handover scheme is suitable for OFDMA-based cellular systems.

  • In this paper, we introduce the positioning methods using the grid sensor network. The basic operational principle of grid sensor network can be the wireless communication using the sensor node attached on the objects. Sink node receives the environmental information (e.g., temperature, humidity and so on), and transmits the information to the core database. Since the grid sensor network basically uses wireless communication, it is necessary to observe the place where grid sensor nodes to be installed. In this sense, we carried out the practical measurement on the wireless propagation in an applicable field. In addition, link budget study and SNR estimation works were done in accordance with the results from the measurement.

  • This paper shows a practical approach that is robust to the errors causing path-delay in mobile wireless location, and analyzes its performance by comparing with other methods. NLOS(non-line-of-sight) error and multipath are two big sources of positioning error in wireless location. Contrary to GPS(global positioning system), they result from the terrestrial propagation of a signal. Especially, since LOS(line-of-sight) path between a transceiver and a receiver is blocked by intermediate buildings and topography, NLOS causes a signal to be reflected and diffracted.   • Wearable computing is growing rapidly as research on body area communication network using wireless sensor network technology is actively conducted. In particular, there is an increasing interest in smart clothing measuring unrestrained and insensitive bio signals, and research is being actively conducted. However, research on smart clothing is mainly based on 1: 1 wireless communication. In this paper, we propose a multi-access monitoring system that can measure bio-signals by multiple users wearing smart clothing. The proposed system consists of wireless access device, multiple access control server and monitoring system. It also provides a service that allows multiple users to monitor and measure bio signals at the same time.

  • We are designed the delivery constitution technique that is to be measure the safe RFID statusof thewireless delivery system level (WDSL) on the delivery system tracking system. The delivery system level condition by the delivery system tracking system is organized with the RFID system. As to inspection a wireless network of the wireless network, we are found of the delivery value with wireless network by the upper take form. The concept of delivery system level is organized the reference of wireless level for delivery signal by the delivery RFID tracking system. Further, symbolizing a safe deliveryof the WDSL of the medium-minimum interval of the RFID tracking system, and the delivery wireless network RFID that was the delivery value of the far delivery of the DSTS-FA-φMED-MIN with 5.80±1.20 units, that was the delivery value of the convenient delivery of the DSTS-CO-φMED-MIN with 4.06±(-0.04) units, that was the delivery value of the flank delivery of the DSTS-φMED-MIN with 0.91±0.07 units, that was the delivery value of the vicinage delivery of the DSTS-VI-φMED-MIN with 0.18±(-0.03) units. The RFID will be to look into at the safe of the RFID tracking systemwith wireless network bythe delivery system level on the WDSL that is supply the wireless tracking system by the delivery system level system. We will be possible make to curb of a tracking system that to put the wireless signal and to use of the delivery data of RFID level by the delivery system.

  • 안정적인 유비쿼터스 센서 네트워크 서비스가 운용되기 위해서는 센서 네트워크 내에서 신뢰성이 확보되어야 하며, 이중에서도 전송 신뢰성의 확보는 다른 어떤 것보다 시급하다. 특히 무선 센서 네트워크의 활용이라는 측면을 보았을 때 전송 신뢰성은 단순히 안정적인 전송만을 생각하기 보다는 성능 향상이라는 부분도 생각해야 한다. 이를 위해서 본 논문에서는 전송 신뢰성 확보와 성능 개선이라는 두가지 모두를 확보 할 수 있는 방법을 제안한다. 제안하는 방법은 무선 환경 내에서의 자기 전달 신호를 활용하여 ACK를 대신하고 이를 바탕으로 다음 데이터의 전송을 시작하도록 한다. 성능 개선을 확인하기 위해서 제안 방법의 수학적 분석과 시뮬레이션을 통한 검증을 실시한다.

  • 본 논문에서는 광섬유 커플러를 이용하여 차동 검출기를 구성하고 무선광시스템에서 잡음광 소거에 활용하였다. $1\times2$광섬유 커플러를 이용하여 수신광을 2개로 분리해서 수신하면 동일한 지점의 잡음광을 2개의 포토다이오드에서 동시에 검출하는 효과가 발생한다. 따라서 잡음광의 공간분포의 변화가 심하게 발생하는 환경에서도 2개의 포토다이오드의 위치 차이로 인한 출력 전압의 변동이 나타나지 않아 잡음 소거 효과가 높아진다. 광필터를 사용한 단일의 광검출기에 비하여 광섬유 커플러를 사용한 차동검출기에서 신호대 잡음비를 약 8 dB 개선하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 무선광 연결에서 신호광과 잡음광에 대한 플라스틱 광섬유의 손실차를 이용하여 잡음광의 영향을 감소하였다. 플라스틱 광섬유에서 신호광과 잡음광에 대한 손실계수가 달라서 차동검출기를 구성하는 2개의 포토다이오드로 연결되는 광섬유의 길이를 다르게 하면 신호광과 잡음광에 대한 감소 비율이 달라져 변별소자의 역할을 한다. 따라서 별도의 광필터를 설치하지 않아도 잡음광의 간섭을 소거하고 신호성분을 검출할 수 있다. 광섬유를 사용하지 않는 단일의 포토다이오드를 사용할 때에 비하여 광섬유를 사용할 때 약 9.7 dB신호대 잡음비를 개선하였다.

  • There is a new evolution in technological advancement taking place called the Internet of Things (IoT), The IoT enables physical world objects in our surrounding to be connected to the Internet. ISM (Industrial Scientific Medical) band that is 2.4GHz band authorized free of charge is being widely used for smart devices. Accordingly studies have been continuously conducted on the possibility of coexistence among nodes using ISM band. In particular, the interference of IEEE 802.11b based Wi-Fi devices using overlapping channel during communication among IEEE 802.15.4 based wireless sensor nodes suitable for low-power, low-speed communication using ISM band. Because serious network performance deterioration of wireless sensor networks. In this paper, we will propose an algorithm that identifies the possibility of using more accurate channels by mixing utilization of interference signal and RSSI (Received Signal Strength Indicator) Min/Max/Activity of Interference signal by wireless sensor nodes. In addition, it will verify our algorithm by using OPNET Network verification simulator.

  • In this paper. we present a new method for monitoring of ECU's self diagnostic signals of vehicle without wire. In order to measure the ECU's self diagnostic signals, the interfaced circuit is designed to communicate ECU and designed terminal according to the IOS, SAE regulation of communication protocol standard. Micro-processor 80C196KC is used for communicating ECU's self diagnositc signals and the results are sent to the wireless terminal and PC monitoring system. Wireless terminal is also developed by 80C196KC, LCD, RF module, and keypad. The command from the keypad is sent to ECU through RF module and the result show on the Graphic LCD in real time. Software on PC is developed to monitor the ECU's self diagnostic signals using the Visual C++ complier in which RS232 port is programmed by half duplex method. The algorithms for measuring the ECU's self diagnostic signals are verified to monitor both ECU and portable terminal state. At the same time, the information to fix the vehicle's problem can be shown on the developed software. The possibility for remote measurement of ECU self diagnostic signal is verified through the developed systems and algorithms.
