Different Heterogeneous IoT Data Management Techniques for IoT Cloud Environments (IoT 클라우드 환경을 위한 서로 다른 이기종의 IoT 데이터 관리 기법)

  • Although IoT systems are used in a variety of heterogeneous environments as cloud environments develop, all IoT devices are not provided with reliable protocols and services. This paper proposes an IoT data management technique that can extend the IoT cloud environment to an n-layer multi-level structure so that information collected from different heterogeneous IoT devices can be efficiently sorted and processed. The proposed technique aims to classify and process IoT information by transmitting routing information and weight information through wireless data link data collected from heterogeneous IoT devices. The proposed technique not only delivers information classified from IoT devices to the corresponding routing path but also improves the efficiency of IoT data processing by assigning priority according to weight information. The IoT devices used in the proposed technique use each other's reliable protocols, and queries for other IoT devices locally through a local cloud composed of hierarchical structures have features that ensure scalability because they maintain a certain cost.y channels of IoT information in order to make the most of the multiple antenna technology.

  • The recent medical treatment guidelines and the development of information technology make hospitals reduce the expense in surrounding environment and it requires improving the quality of medical treatment of the hospital. Moreover, MIS, PACS(Picture Archiving and Communication System), OCS, EMR are also developing. Medical Information System is evolved toward integration of medical IT and situation is changing with increasing high speed in the ICT convergence. Mobile component refers to construct wireless system of hospital which has constructed in existing environment. Through RFID development in existing system, anyone can log on easily to internet whenever and wherever. It is the core technology to implement automatic medical processing system. This paper provides a basic review of RFID model, PACS application component services. In addition, designed and implemented database server's component program and client program of mobile application that recognized RFID tag and patient data in the ubiquitous environments. This system implemented mobile PACS that performed patient data based db environments, and so reduced delay time of requisition, medical treatment, lab.

  • In the era of the 4th industrial revolution, the demand for convergence between ICT technologies is increasing in various fields. Accordingly, a new term that combines data, network, and artificial intelligence technology, DNA (Data, Network, AI) is in use. and has recently become a hot topic. DNA has various potential technology to be able to develop intelligent application in the real world. Therefore, this paper introduces the reviewed papers on the service image placement mechanism based on the logical fog network, the mobility support scheme based on machine learning for Industrial wireless sensor network, the prediction of the following BCI performance by means of spectral EEG characteristics, the warning classification method based on artificial neural network using topics of source code and natural language processing model for data visualization interaction with chatbot, related on DNA technology.

  • Various forward collision warning algorithms have studied in order to protect a car accident. For this, in general, algorithms using an external device such as a camera and sensor generate a forward collision warning. However, if using the external device, it can occur errors due to device characteristics when there is rain or fog. Also, the prevention of a chain-reaction collision is insufficient because the system generates a warning in case of only vehicle having a forward collision danger. If it combines the vehicle safety communications, the method becomes a solution to protect a chain-reaction collision. So, In this paper, we proposes a improved forward collision warning algorithm using the wireless communication technique, driver's information, breaking distance, and velocity. And we compare and analyze our algorithm and previous algorithms.

  • RFID(Radio Frequency Identification) which is emerging from a change in digital convergence paradigm and recently rapidly advancing throughout the overall society is the core technology based on Ubiquitous network. In other words, This is a technology to identify the information of the object and recognize the situation by attaching electrical tag to an object and using Reader that can read the information of the object. With the emergence of the technology, it has turned the existing maintenance of the product into the network and intelligence of the product control by using the bar cord to maintain the product and will lead a revolution throughout overall society by affecting the fields of distribution and product maintenance as well as those of medicines, chemicals and food which the electrical tag can be attached to. his paper shows that utilizing the Bluetooth which is a local wireless telecommunication in the standalone imbedded system can implement the piconet configuration among the Readers and the data telecommunication with the main server.

  • Development of IT technology as well as arrival of information-oriented society raise the curtain of 'the era of Ubiquitous Computing', implying accessing computers beyond boundary of time and space. In this era, it is expected that IT paradigms and life-styles would be transformed immensely above the experiences of 20th century. However, improvement of technology summons a new risk of cyber terrorism which have not been in the past. Thus, it is urgent to prepare for the threats in the national level. This paper point out five major threats relating to 'the security in the era of Ubiquitous Computing'. : First, spread of threats in connection with BcN establishment, second, vulnerable information-security for wireless communication, third, leakage of private information, fourth, cyber terror and deterioration of security, fifth, security problems of Korea including the drain of military information and solutions in the views of organization, personnel, technology and budget, comparing with other countries.

  • This paper is about the design of flowerpot management system which allows you to manage the flowerpot more efficiently and conveniently using Internet of Things when you start to grow plants. IoT connects all things to the network to provide various services to users, it has recently been focused on the center of the IT convergence techniques. So by using the realization sensor based IoT technology the need for research and development of IoT technologies were designed for the system. Basically, Device is using soil humidity sensor and Arduino, Android smart phone and smart light bulb. Transmit the humidity value of the flowerpot that measured by the sensor in a wireless communication, by controlling the state according to the value of the humidity, users can be provided a visual information and set up a flowerpot management and plan.

Development of bicycle device to strengthen safety (안전 강화를 위한 자전거 장치 개발)

  • With the growing number of people using bicycle, the number of bicycle accidents also has been increasing. It is said that bicycle accident can be reduced up to 11%~44% when riding a bicycle if LED light is used. The headlight of the bicycle makes exposure effect to the opposite side of bike rider while taillight makes exposure effect to the rear bike rider for improving safety. Bicycle safety device capable of displaying a change of direction by LED is implemented in this study in response to control button signal. This signal makes LED light which is installed in pedal and wheel of bicycle as a module type emitting or flickering during the fixed hour. Bicycle auxiliary device in pedal which is able to improve safety using LED when bikers are riding a bike at night is developed in this study. Bicycle safety device applying wireless communication technology will be expected alternative technology in the future to solve a social problem such as energy, environment, and safety.

  • Recently, the application area of an embedded software become larger and larger rapidly due to the development of the wire and wireless communication, the expansion of the digital information device and the convergence of the digital devices and emphasize the effort of the development of more complete software. As a consequence, the importance of the software test process was raised to discover the defects of the software early and improve the quality of an embedded software. However there was no test process model for applying the embedded software which is required the highly precision and the real-time process. In this paper, therefore, we propose the design procedure and case study for the test maturity model of an embedded software(Emb-TMM) which reflects the characteristics of the embedded software and test process. for this, we suggest the three category of the proposed procedure which consists of the selection of the reference model and the derivation of the area, the categorization of the area level, and design model. Then we suggest the case study how the proposed procedure can be applied to the development of an embedded software actually.

  • Even though automakers have actively been conducting studies on autonomous navigation thanks to the development and application of wireless Internet technology, the traffic accident has been kept unsolved. The causes of the accident are drowsy driving, a mistake of a driver, environmental factors, and a wrong road structure; Driving manner and characteristics of a driver among the causes are significantly influential for the accident. In this paper, a study to measure characteristics of zigzag driving that can be seen before an occurrence of an accident regarding traffic accidents that can be incurred while driving manually or autonomously was conducted. While existing studies measured zigzag driving based on characteristics of the change of lateral angular velocity by imaging techniques or driving manner on the first and second lane, this study proceeded to measure zigzag driving by setting a lateral moving distance and a critical value range by utilizing the value of a sensor.
