  • With the advent of integration environment of broadcasting and communication, IPTV has been widely used. It provides services such as information, movie contents and broadcasting through TV using super-high speed networks. Developments of Wireless LAN and IP network technology create various and fusional services such as IPTV, VoIP that are based on IP network. The development of Wireless LAN is very important in IPTV network field which requires the best quality of service on the security, QoS and bandwidth. In this Paper, We configure the experimental network in its RIP and OSPF environment to test the Video Quality of IPTV in Wireless LAN. We measure and evaluate broadcasting quality by using PSNR to show the corelation of Routing Protocols in Wireless LAN in which how they affect to the IPTV real-time Video Quality.

  • In this paper, we constructed the infrastructure with wireless LAN and Access Point in the indoor environment and implemented the teleoperation. Wireless LAN based teleoperation system is irregular communication delay according to environment condition and occurrence possibility of blackout is very high. In this paper, In case these problem happened, we measured communication delay time by real time, and did mobile robot to control harmoniously through vision and force reflection information. Also, we present obstacle-avoidance mode that mobile robot can travel without collision using direction information in case communication delay time is large. We proved usefulness of presented algorithm through teleoperation experiment to apply presented algorithm.

  • This paper proposes the method to develop information system for maintenance of urban transit using wireless LAM. Wireless LAN communication provides very useful method to maintain urban transit vehicle. We will use wireless LAN to transmit driving data, operational data and trace data from vehicle to wayside. And also we will use wireless LAN to refer various information concerning to work in real time. Proposed method may prevent loss of maintenance manpower and provide effective maintenance process.

  • In this study, we design and implement RFID system that could be monitored on web. RFID system, 13.56MHz RFID reader was designed and implemented by using MLX12115 RFID chip of Melexis company and Stargate of Xbow company for application to the wireless LAN system. As a result, by using wireless LAN, we develop the easy installation RFID system which make it possible to get tag's information anywhere.

  • According to the convenience and efficiency, IEEE 802.11 WLAN(Wireless LAN) has became rapidly wide-spread on the market. However, QoS support is needed for various multimedia service. In this paper, we consider both MAC method of IEEE 802.11 and IEEE 802.11e and Traffic Category differentiated service by QoS support method. In addition, we study currently existing back-off algorithms in view of comparative analysis. As a result we propose a new back-off algorithm called Collision Rate Based-EDCF. The proposed back-off algorithm confirms the performance by computer simulations in terms of Throughput, and QoS support.

  • This paper proposes a wireless LAN topology configuration method for enhancing indoor location-awareness and improving network performance simultaneously. We first develop four objective functions that yield objective goals significant to the optimal design of a wireless LAN topology in terms of location-awareness accuracy and network performance factors. Then, we develop metaheuristic algorithms such as simulated annealing, tabu search, and genetic algorithm that examine the proposed objective functions and generate a near-optimal solution for a given objective function. Finally, four objective functions and metaheuristic algorithms developed in this paper are exploited to evaluate and measure the performance of the proposed wireless LAN topology configuration method.

  • Wireless Lan is rapidly increased, but now most of wireless lan are being used to cover physical boundary of wired tan. If Users who communicate each other send cipher data, other users can not change or interrupt and the data is guaranteed for integrity. Otherwise, if user lose key for any reason, the data is not guaranteed for integrity. So it is important to control and manage to offer key. This Thesis examine problems of using existing wireless lan. Moreover, for users using small wireless lan, this offers installing server for controling and sharing and improves security problems.
