슬래브-기둥 접합부의 전단보강상세에 관한 연구 (A Study of Shear Reinforcement for Slab-Column Connection)

  • The study is an experimental test on full-scale flat plate slab-column interior connection. The punching shear on the flat plate slab-column connection can bring about the reason of the brittle punching shear failure which may result of collapsing the whole structure. From the development of residential flat plate system, the shear reinforcement is developed for preventing the punching shear. For making sure of the punching shear capacity, developed for shear reinforcement in slab-column connection, the structural test is performed. The dimension of the slabs was 2620*2725*180mm with square column (600*800mm). The slabs were tested up to failure monotonic vertical shear forces. The presences of S/S bar and wire mesh substantially increased the punching shear capacity and the ductility of the slab-column connections.

  • How to manage manhole is to estimate the part without observation and maintain the sewer. To get the information about current flow rate, visiting and measuring specific manhole is positively necessary. Also, there are some problems that accurate measurement of flow rate is difficult and obtaining the information about real-time whole flow rate is impossible. This thesis will easily grasp the accurate location and type of manhole to solve the problems, and provide the manhole system conveying information through direct radio communication with a manhole cover to renewal information of manhole properly. Besides, it intends to save the information about management of waterworks, maintenance of facilities, data for flow rate, and structure of manhole. Using these, it is supposed to offer how to handle manhole. Thus, this thesis delivers the information to manhole and into central servers directly without wire and provides the system and management method for effective maintenance of manhole.

  • Electrophoretic deposition (EPD) of alcohol YBCO suspensions on the Ag wire electrode was studied. Poly(ethylene glycol) was coordinated to a structure formed by the EPD process with YBCO particles. The suspension is characterized in terms of zeta potential and conductivity. The d.c electric fields of 200-300V/cm are applied for 1-10 min. The optimal condition for the EPD allows modifying the properties and microstructure of the deposited films. Superconducting coatings with nanometer-sized pores and a preferred orientation along the c-axis were prepared from the result with chemically modified precursor solution. In contrast, YBCO coatings of sub-micrometer sized pores and randomly orientated grains were prepared from the solution without PEG

  • The three-phase four-leg voltage source inverter (VSI) topology can be an interesting option for the three phase-four wire system. With an additional leg, this topology can achieve superior performance with unbalanced and/or nonlinear load. This paper proposes a new hybrid controller which combines PI controller and resonant controller in synchronous frame for three phase four leg inverter. The hybrid controller is simple in structure and easy to implement. The performance of proposed controller is verified by the experiments and compared with that of the conventional PI controller.

  • A novel kind of switched reluctance motor (SRM) with short flux path is proposed in this paper. Phase excitation in the SRM gives short flux paths, hence reducing the magnetomotive force required to drive the machine, resulting in significant reduction of copper wire and core losses compared to the typical SRM with diametric circulation of magnetic flux. To verify the performance, the characteristics analysis of a double stator SRM, a 6/5 SRM with C-core structure and a 4/5 two-phase SRM which all composed of short flux path and a comparison with conventional SR motors are executed.

  • In this article, a UV sensor that is an appropriate tool for fire detection has been designed and constructed. The structure of this UV sensor is an air-filled single-wire detector that is able to operate under normal air condition. A reflective CsI photocathode is installed at the end of the sensor chamber to generate photoelectrons in the ion chamber. An electric current is produced by accelerating photoelectrons to the anode in the electric field. The detector is able to measure the intensity of the incident UV rays whenever the current is sufficiently high. Therefore, the sensitivity coefficient of this sensor is found to be $7.67{\times}10^{-6}V/photons/sec$.

  • This paper recognizes the risk of ignition of air fryer (machine that can cook fried dishes with hot air without oil) that is far exceeding the sales rate of microwave ovens, which is necessary to modern household kitchen, and identifies fire risk through the operation principle of the process of heat transfer, and the main structure of the machine. The fire test that we conducted is to observe the risk of ignition of the machine due to the damage to the safety system and the possibility of igniting oil paper along with food, to experiment with the possibility of ignition due to blockage of the exhaust due to obstacles, and accumulation of oil stains on the hot wire, and to present the method of fire control and devise countermeasures.

  • This paper summarises the design of a gust generator and the comparison between high fidelity numerical results and experimental results. The gust generator has been designed for a low subsonic wind tunnel in order to perform gust response experiments on wings and assess load alleviation. Special attention has been given to the different design parameters that influence the shape of the gust velocity profile by means of CFD simulations. Design parameters include frequency of actuation, flow speed, maximum deflection, chord length and gust vane spacing. The numerical results are compared to experimental results obtained using a hot-wire anemometer and flow visualisation by means of a tuft and smoke. The first assessment of the performance of the gust generator showed proper operation of the gust generator across the entire range of interest.

  • BitTorrent는 파일 공유를 위하여 가장 널리 사용되고 있는 P2P (Peer to Peer)프로토콜로서, Mesh-Pull 구조를 채용하여 라이브 스트리밍에 대한 연구가 꾸준히 이루어지고 있다. BitTorrent에서는 Peer Wire Protocol을 사용하여 피어들간에 파일조각들을 교환하게 되는데, 이를 위하여 주기적으로 버퍼맵 정보를 HAVE 메시지를 사용하여 브로드캐스트 하는데, 피어의 수가 증가할수록 이로 인한 시그널링 오버헤드가 크게 증가하는 문제를 갖고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제를 극복하고 라이브 스트리밍의 성능을 개선하기 위하여 HAVE 메시지를 선택적으로 전송하는 방법을 제안한다. 실험을 통하여, 제안 방식은 기존의 BitTorrent 기반 Mesh-Pull 구조를 채용하는 라이브 스트리밍 방식과 비교하여 HAVE 메시지의 브로드캐스트로 인한 시그널링 오버헤드를 비약적으로 줄일 수 있음을 보였다.

수직상향류 공기-물 이상유동영역 판별 (Vertical Upward Air-Water Two-Phase Flow Regime Identification)

  • 이상유동은 원자력 발전소 내 노심과 석유 수송 등 여러 산업 분야에서 빈번히 관찰된다. 이상유동영역은 두 상의 성질과 유량의 차이, 그리고 유로의 구조에 따라 결정된다. 유동영역의 판별은 시스템 설계 및 안전 해석에 있어 중요하기 때문에 많은 이론과 실험 연구들이 수행되었다. 본 연구는 파이프 내의 이상유동장에서 각 이상유동영역 및 천이경계에서의 특징 파악을 위한 기초 연구로서, 30 mm의 내경을 갖는 수직관의 수직상향류 공기-물 이상유동영역을 고속카메라와 Wire-mesh sensor(WMS)를 이용하여 판별하였다. 또한 유동양식을 정량적으로 판별하기 위해 액막 두께를 적용하였다. 판별한 실험 데이터를 Taitel 외와 Mishima와 Ishii의 유동양식선도와 비교하였다. 실험을 통해 판별한 유동영역은 기존의 유동양식선도와 전체적으로 잘 일치함을 보였다.
