Development of User-Interfaces for Expert System in Korean on Windows95 using CLIPS (CLIPS를 이용한 Windows 95용 한글 전문가 시스템 인터페이스 개발)

  • Utilizing the tools such as CLIPS can reduce the time that it takes to develop expert systems. CLIPS is a development tool for expert system and has public inference engine and utilities. However, skilled programming is needed to run CLIPS on Windows 95, and proper interfaces for knowledge engineers or end-users who do not have good programming ability should be developed. Therefore, the user-friendly interfaces including htitle, hmenu, hyesno, htextdisplay, and hrun were developed and added to CLIPS. The intefaces were excuted in command-line mode of CLIPS on Windows 95. Also, htitle and hmenu can display graphic files for expert system users comprehension. An expert system was constructed using the interfaces and examples were displayed.

  • In this paper, we developed a Windows 95 version Off-Line Programming System which can simulate a Robot model in 3D Graphic space. 4 axes SCARA Robot (especially FARA SM5)was adopted as an objective model. Forward kinematics, inverse kinematics and robot dynamics modeling were included in the developed program. The interface between users and the OLP system in the Windows 95's GUI environment was also studied. The developing language is Microsoft Visual C++. Graphic libraries, OpenGL, by Silicon Graphics, Inc. were utilized for 3D Graphics.

  • With recent development of speech recognition technology and multimedia computer systems, more potential applications of voice will become a reality. In this paper, we implement speech interface on the windows95 environment for practical use fo multimedia computers with voice. Speech interface is made up of three modules, that is, speech input and detection module, speech recognition module, and application module. The speech input and etection module handles th elow-level audio service of win32 API to input speech data on real time. The recognition module processes the incoming speech data, and then recognizes the spoken command. DTW pattern matching method is used for speech recognition. The application module executes the voice command properly on PC. Each module of the speech interface is designed and examined on windows95 environments. Implemented speech interface and experimental results are explained and discussed.

  • We proposed malware detection method, which use the feature vector that consist of Opcode(operation code) and Windows API Calls extracted from executable files. And, we implemented our feature vector and measured the performance of it by using Bernoulli Naïve Bayes and K-Nearest Neighbor classifier. In experimental result, when using the K-NN classifier with the proposed method, we obtain 95.21% malware detection accuracy. It was better than existing methods using only either Opcode or Windows API Calls.

  • The Direct Arm(DDA) is a SCARA typed direct drive manipulator with three degree of freedom(DOF) using the direct motor of the NSK company. In the paper, we propose a convenient interface for the SCARA-type robot which is practical to use. The proposed Visual Robot Teaching Mode using 3D graphics replaces the current teaching box. And besides this graphical teaching software can be implemented on the PC which is company used as a robot controller. This program was developed for the Windows 95 OS.
