  • The maximal oxygen intake (MOI) was determined in 54 males (23 nonathletes, 10 basketball players, 8 hand ball players, 7 weight lifters and 6 long distance runners) and in 49 females (24 non-athletes, 16 basketball players and 9 volley ball players) by using a treadmill method outlined in Part I of the present investigation and the following results were obtained: (1) The maximal aerobic work capacity varied from the lowest value of 1,008 kg-m/min in female non-athletes to the highest value of approximately 2,000 kg-m/min in male basketball players and long distance runners. Values of other groups varied from 1,400 kg-m/min in male non-athletes and female athletes to 1,800 kg-m/min in male hand ball players. (2) The MOI per unit body weight varied from the lowest value of 41.3 ml/min/kg in female non-athletes to the highest value of 67.6 ml/min/kg in male long distance runners. Values of other groups were in the order of 47 to 55 ml/min/kg. (3) The heart rate during maximal aerobic work performance varied from the lowest value of approximately 180 per min in female basketball players and male long distance runners to the highest value of 190 or above in nonathletes of both sexes. (4) An estimate of oxygen debt as measured during 15 minutes following the maximal work was 3.841 in female non-athletes, 4.681 in female athletes, 5.561 in male non-athletes and 6.321 in male athletes. These results indicate that the MOI per unit body weight as well as the oxygen debt of Korean non-athletes were comparable to, while corresponding values of Korean athletes were considerably lower than, those of other countries such as Japan, the United States of America and Europe.

  • 현대 사회는 4차 산업 혁명과 더불어 디지털 장비의 사용이 증가하여 영상 및 신호처리의 중요성이 높아지고 있으며, 이와 함께 잡음 제거에 관한 연구가 활발하게 이루어지고 있다. 본 논문은 랜덤 임펄스 잡음 제거를 위한 스위칭 필터 알고리즘을 제안한다. 제안한 알고리즘은 영상에 존재하는 잡음 수준을 판단하여 임계값을 구하며, 임계값은 입력 화소값과 기준치의 차이와 비교되어 필터의 가중치 스위칭 과정에 사용한다. 필터의 최종 출력은 스위칭에 따라 화소 가중치 및 변형된 가중치 메디안 필터를 적용하여 추정치를 구하며, 추정치와 입력 화소값을 비교하여 최종 출력을 구한다. 제안한 알고리즘의 성능을 평가하기 위해 시뮬레이션 및 PSNR 등을 이용하여 기존 방법들과 비교하였다.

  • Isokinetic evaluation of trunk flexors and trunk extensors was performed at $60^{\circ}/sec\;and\;120^{\circ}/sec$ of angular velocity by using cybex 6000TEF Unit on 31 healthy male white workers and 15 post-operative HILD patients with no significant difference in mean age and mean body weight between two groups, and compared each other. The purpose of this study is to obtain the isokinetic normative strength values and endurance latins for Dunk extensors and trunk flexors, and is to provide a guideline for rehabilitation program of post-operative HILD patients. The collected data were analyzed by ANOVA, Duncan's Nyktuoke Range Test, and Pearson correlation coefficiency in PC-SAS program, The results obtained were as follow ; 1. Post-operative subjects has lower isokinetic values than normal subjects in peak torque, peak torque $\%$ by body weight, total work, total work $\%$ by body weight, average power, average power $\%$ by body weight, TAAE of trunk flexors and trunk extensors, and there are significant differences with statistic value in trunk extensors at $60^{\circ}/sec$ and in trunk flexors and trunk extensors at $120^{\circ}/sec$ between two groups(p<0.05). 2. Pest-ooperative subjects has lower values for angle of peak torque than normal subjects in trunk extensors, and there are significant differences with statistic value at $60^{\circ}/sec$ and $120^{\circ}/sec$ between two groups. 3. Post-operative subjects has higher values for endurance ratios than normal subjects in trunk extensors and flexors, but there are no significant differences with statistic value between two groups. 4. Post-operative subjects has higher values than normal subjects in peak torque ratios, total work ratios, average power ratios of trunk flexors to trunk extensors, and there are significant differences with statistic value between two groups(p<0.01). 5. There is significant positive-correlation with statistic valve between peak torque and height and body weight in normal subjects(p<0.05), but Thjere is significant negative-correlation between peak torque of trunk extensor at $120^{\circ}/sec$ and age (p<0.05). 6. There is significant positive-correlation with statistic value between peak torque of trunk flexors and body weight in post-operative subjects (p<0.05), but There is significant negative-correlation between peak torque of trunk extensor add age (p<0.05). In conclusion, post-operative subjects have greater weakness in trunk musculature than normal subjects, especially there is more significant weakness in trunk extensors than in trunk flexors

Chlorella의 영양가(營養價)에 관(關)한 연구(硏究) (I) (Nutrition Value of Chlorella (I))

  • Though many papers have reported the nutrition value of Chlorella their results are all different because of the differences in processing method. To investigate its processing and nutrition value we provided the white rats with the Chlorella that were treated with boiling methanol. The results obtained in this investigation are summarized as follows: Two groups. which were fed with 20% Chlorella protein and 10% Chlorella plus 0.37% $_{DL}-methionine$ gained less weight than the 10% egg protein group but equaled the 20% egg protein group in weight gain. The digestion rates calculated from ordinary N-balance method were 83.6% for 20% Chlorella, 81.7% for 10% Chlorella, and 84.9% for 10% Chlorella plus methionine group. This value is lower than 20% Egg (93.8%) and 10% Egg group (89.6%) Biological values from this method were 78.3% for 20% Chlorella and 79.1% for 10% Chlorella group, being lower than 20% Egg (85.2%), 10% Egg (93.2%). But the biological value of 10% Chlorella group was markedly enhanced to 92.2%, a value comparable to that of 10% Egg group, by adding methionine.

In this study, when enforce design VE examining for weight decision corrosion protection been using in weight grant composition estimation technique, target choice process wishes to suggest formality and method that can be achieved effectively Main conclusion of this study sorts valuation items step by step for weight appropriation of valuation basis and give point on article of high position point after expert which employer is included estimates article by low rank step and this presented high position method that do union item by item and establishes by item weight. Did these techniques for giving weights so that importance for weight appropriation developed estimation program, and data save of target estimation standard and target estimation standard is possible using straight sit.

게껍질로부터 섬유가공용 Chitin.Chitosan 정제에 관한 연구 (A Study on Purification of Chitin and Chitosan for Textile Finishing Agent from Crab Shell)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the purification of chitin and chitosan for textile finishing agent from crab shell. Weight loss rate(removing Ca and protein), degree of deacetylation, solubility and MIC(Minimum growth inhibitory concentration) value of chitosan and molecular weight of the treated crab shell were measured. The results of this study were as follows : 1) Weight loss rate(removing Ca) of crab shell treated with HCI increased with the concentration of HCI and treatment time, but it became constant over 60 min. of treatment time. 2) Weight loss rate(removing protein) of crab shell treated with NaOH(0.5N∼2N) increased with the concentration of NaOH and treatment temperature and time, but it became constant above loot of temperature and over 200 min. of treatment time. 3) Degree of deacetylation of chitin treated with NaOH increased with the concentration of NaOH(40∼60%), but molecular weight decreased and thus MIC value increased. 4) Concentration of acetic acid should be above 0.3% to dissolve chitosan easily. Solubility for chitosan was the highest with formic acid, and the next was acetic acid, hydrochloric acid, lactic acid and sulfuric acid in order.

연속/액류방식에 의한 폴리에스테르 직물의 감량특성 (Properties of Alkali Hydrolyzed Polyester Fabric by CDR/Liquor-Flow Type)

  • In this study, Two types of polyester fabrics were hydrolysed with NaOH using the CDR m/c of pad-steam type and the Sofleena m/c of liquor-flow type to determine the alkali hydrolysis properties of polyester fabrics. The results were as follows: Under the same conditions, the weight loss of charmeuse was about 0.5% and 2~3% higher than that of pebble with CDR m/c and with Sofleena m/c, respectively. The weft density of pebble decreased about 14picks/inch with CDR m/c and 3picks/inch with Sofleena m/c comparing to the untreated sample at 18% of weight loss, while the weft density of charmeuse decreased about 5picks/inch with CDR m/c and 2picks/inch with Sofleena m/c at 20% of weight toss. K/S value decreased almost identically within about 11% weight loss of pebble and 8% of charmeuse processed with both CDR and Sofleena. However, in the above these weight losses, K/S value of the fabrics processed with Sofleena was higher than that of fabrics processed with CDR. The bending rigidity of warp direction of the fabrics ($2{\times}10^{-2}gf.cm^2 /cm$ higher for charmeuse and ($7{\times}10^{-3}gf.cm^2 /cm$ higher for pebble) processed with CDR m/c was higher than that of the fabrics processed with Sofleena m/c.

갈근승기탕(葛根承氣湯)이 비만(肥滿) 유도(誘導) 백서(白鼠)의 혈청성분(血淸成分) 및 조직화학적(組織化學的) 변화(變化)에 미치는 영향(影響) (Experimental Study on the Effect of Galgunseunggi-tang in Obese Rats)

  • Objectives : This experimental study was designed to investigate the effects of Galgunseunggi-tang on the weight of obese rats Induced by high fat diet. Methods : A series of have been conducted in order to measure the effects of the above materials weight. serum and fat cells. The have been performed on; (1) the Increasing amount of body weight; (2) the quantity of total cholesterol, tryglyceride, total lipid, free fatty acid, phospholipid, HDL -cholesterol and LDL -cholesterol in serum; (3) the average size of epididymal fat cells and the area rate of fat drops in hepatic lobule. Results : The results were summarized as follows: 1. It was proved that Galgunseunggi-tang suppressed the increasing amount of body weight. GS II group (supplied 60mg per 100g) showed a significant value. 2. It was proved that Galgunseunggi-tang improved the total cholesterol, HDL -cholesterol In serum. but did not show a significance. 3. It was proved that Galgunseunggi-tang decreased the quantify of free fatty acid, phospholipid, LDL -cholesterol in serum. GS I group (supplied 30mg per 100g) showed a significant value. 4. It was proved that Galgunseunggi-tang decreased the quantity of triglyceride, total lipid in serum, and GS II group showed a significant value. 5. Galgunseunggi-tang decreased the average size of epididymal fat cells and the area rate of fat drops In hepatic lobule, and GS I group showed a significant value. Conclusions : Based on the above result, it is assumed that the clinical application of Galgunseunggi-tang can help the treatment of obesity.

보리의 교배조합 검정연구 (A Study on the Evaluation of Barley Hybrids in their Early Generation)

  • 보리의 교배육종에서 교배조합의 양부를 초기세대에 검정할 수 있는가를 Sakai의 이론에 따라 구명하기 위하여 보리의 수량형질인 추수, 입수, 수중, 개체별 입중에 대해서 5개 교배조합을 가지고 조사를 실시한 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1. 입수의 경우 3개 조합에서 그리고 수중의 경우는 1개 조합에서 상가적유전분산이 부의 방향으로 계산되었고 교배조합의 우량도를 계산할 수 없었으나 나머지 조합과 형질에서는 무난히 계산이 가능하였다. 2. 수수에 대한, 교배조합의 우량도 Y는 SB 76588$\times$SB72648 조합이 제1위였다. 또 이 조합은 F$_4$ 집단의 상위 5 % 및 10%내 식물의 평균순위에서도 2위를 하여 수수에 대해서는 이 조합이 5개 조합중 가장 좋은 조합으로 인정되었다. 3. 수당입수에 있어서는 3개 조합에서 Y값의 추정이 불가능하였으나 나머지 2조합을 가지고 보았을 때 F$_4$ 집단의 순위가 높고 Y값도 높은 밀양 006$\times$수원20003 조합이 우량조합인 것으로 보이었다. 4. 수종에서는 Y계산이 불가했던 1개 조합을 제외한 나머지 조합에서 Y에 의한 순위와 F$_4$에의 한 순위와 대체로 일치하였고 밀양006$\times$수원 20003 조합이 우수조합으로 나타났다. 5. 개체별 입중에서도 Y값에 의한 순위와 F$_4$에 의한 순위가 대체로 일치하였고 SB76588$\times$SB72648 조합이 가장 우수한 조합인 것으로 나타났다.

체중부하 훈련이 대칭적 체중지지율에 미치는 효과 (Effects of weight bearing training on symmetrical weight supporting rate)

  • This study is research for effect of the involved lower limb weight bearing training on symmetrical weight supporting rate improvement by practicing involved lower limb weight bearing training of three weeks period to improve standing equilibrium problem with asymmetric weight supporting rate of hemiplegia. In result of the study, it has shown that P-value incase of involved supporting rate is lower than level of significance $\alpha$<.05 and mean improvement rate of experienced group is higher in comparison with controlled group and experienced group. In changing quantity of involved maximum supporting rate, P-value is .26 and higher than level of significance $\alpha$<.05, and so it did not show significant difference statistically. But in case of experienced group between pre and post-test, involved side supporting rate and involved side maximum supporting rate showed significant improvement in all. In comparison of relative characteristic training effect difference, it was shown that train-learning effect on case of 40-60 years old, hemorrhagic patient and standard body bun of patient is valuable, which showed significant improvement in case of paralytic side and disease period, it did not show significant difference on excercise learning effect in two above cases. In the above result, we can say that continuous weight bearing training on the involved lower limb for three weeks period help improve the involved side supporting rate of hemiplegia. Accordingly, the weight bearing training on the involved lower limb is training method that patient can easily train with simple guidance of therapists, without being special expensive equipment. Furthermore it can be helpful to establish home therapeutic plan for hemiplegia through education of a patron.
