선조사 결과에 의한 실제낙석무게분포의 추정과 설계적용성 검토 (Estimation In-Situ Rockfall Block Weight Distribution Using Scan-Line Survey Results and Examination its applicability in Practical Rockfall Analysis)

  • Up to now, practical engineers applying simplicity value of rockfall block weight suggested in design manual without considering in-situ rockfall block weight which reflect joint characteristics. However, the size of rockfall block varies with joint spacing of discontinuities and influences over rockfall analysis results. In this paper, we estimate realistic rockfall block weight distribution using statistical invariances of joint spacing derived from scan-line survey result. And, we study whether this distribution is applicable in practical rockfall analysis directly. As the results of this study, rockfall analysis results that using rockfall block weight distribution estimated from scan-line survey show resonable and realistic outcomes.

  • This paper is reporting the whole process of developing a weight measuring scaler of truck and trailer system for static and dynamic condition. The sensors attached on the top of springs each wheels. Acquisition and data processing performs accurate data extraction from noise environment, filtering and estimation. Weight information was highly distorted with noise and perturbation. Hence the perturbation was classified several categories and evaluated for accurate signal extract. The final products supply accurate and easy readable data of load weight for truck. It supplies total weight as well as loading condition of each axle. It is expected that it give the information to the truck operator of proper amount loading and safe condition to drive with it.

  • The weight of shoes may serve as a determining factor of perceived comfort and feel to the consumer in their purchase and repurchase decisions of footwear. People, however, seem to have trouble in accurately judging the feeling of weight of shoes on their feet. This paper made a psychophysical study of subjects′ sensitivity to weight on their feet and in their hands. The experiment consisted of 3 tests according to the motions people make when they evaluate the feel of shoes: 1) vertical lifting of a shoe on the foot ("hefting" in on the foot) 2) swing the shod foot back and forth; 3) holding and lifting a shoe by hand ("hefting" it in the hand). The method of constant stimuli and magnitude estimation were used for the experiment with 20 subjects. Weber′s ratios and the power law exponents obtained for each of the three tests were 0.156 and 0.713, 0.108 and 0.970, and 0.065 and 1.249, respectively in the same order of the previously listed tests.

가력 인원수에 따른 군중하중의 크기에 관한 실험적 연구 (The Size of Crowd Pressure According to Number of Persons)

  • The resistance of crowd pressure is an important performance to be influential on safety of facility users among performances required for light weight walls of public facilities. This study has empirically evaluated the estimation of size of crowd pressure to be applied to a wall of structure. For the load analysis test, the force plate with stiffness of 28 kN/cm was designed and manufactured. For inspectors, 15 males in the age of 20s were selected. The action of putting load was set as instantaneous push of plate and continuous push. As the load was increased linearly from the weight of inspector, the size of load was indicated as the load ratio. In case of instantaneous force, about 1.18 times the weight of pushing personnel was acted as a load. In case of continuous push, about 0.80 times the weight of pushing personnel was acted as a load.

기상청 관측 자료와 눈 밀도 공식을 이용한 적설하중의 근사 추정 (An Approximate Estimation of Snow Weight Using KMA Weather Station Data and Snow Density Formulae)

  • 대설로 인한 시설 농가의 피해를 예방하고 경감시키기 위해서는 기존의 적설 깊이와 더불어 적설하중에 대한 예보가 추가로 제공되어야 한다. 본 연구에서는 눈의 밀도 및 적설하중과 관련하여 해외 연구에서 사용하고 있는 이론과 공식들을 검토하고, 이를 국내에서 장기간의 농업기상관측 이력을 가지고 있는 수원에 적용하여 얻는 적설하중 결과를 소개하였다. 지난 30년(1988~2017) 간 국내 94개 기상대와 무인자동기상 관측소에서 측정된 적설(3시간 신적설, 최심신적설, 최심적설) 깊이 자료를 이용하여 우리나라 대설주의보와 대설경보에 해당하는 적설 깊이의 빈도를 살펴보았다. 우리나라 권역별 적설빈도 공간분포를 보면 대설주의보에 해당하는 신적설은 전북지역에서 많이 발생했고, 대설경보에 해당하는 신적설은 경북과 강원지역에서 많이 나타났다. 기록적인 대설은 경북과 강원지역에서 나타났으나, 최근의 겨울철 대설 피해는 경기, 경북, 전남에서 나타났다. 즉 적설 깊이가 깊더라도 적설하중이 무겁지 않다면 큰 피해가 발생하지 않는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 수원지역의 적설하중을 추정한 결과를 보면 공식들에 따라 다양한 값들과 특징을 보였다. 대부분 적설 깊이가 깊을 때 적설하중이 무겁게 나타났지만 최대적설하중과 최심적설이 반드시 같은 날에 발생하지는 않았다. 이러한 수원지역의 결과는 다른 지역에서의 적설하중을 추정하는데 도움을 줄 수 있고, 온실구조 설계 기준의 표준 확립과 적설하중 예보를 통해 농가의 경제적 손실을 줄이는데 기여할 것이다.

Big Data Platform Based on Hadoop and Application to Weight Estimation of FPSO Topside

  • Recently, the amount of data to be processed and the complexity thereof have been increasing due to the development of information and communication technology, and industry's interest in such big data is increasing day by day. In the shipbuilding and offshore industry also, there is growing interest in the effective utilization of data, since various and vast amounts of data are being generated in the process of design, production, and operation. In order to effectively utilize big data in the shipbuilding and offshore industry, it is necessary to store and process large amounts of data. In this study, it was considered efficient to apply Hadoop and R, which are mostly used in big data related research. Hadoop is a framework for storing and processing big data. It provides the Hadoop Distributed File System (HDFS) for storing big data, and the MapReduce function for processing. Meanwhile, R provides various data analysis techniques through the language and environment for statistical calculation and graphics. While Hadoop makes it is easy to handle big data, it is difficult to finely process data; and although R has advanced analysis capability, it is difficult to use to process large data. This study proposes a big data platform based on Hadoop for applications in the shipbuilding and offshore industry. The proposed platform includes the existing data of the shipyard, and makes it possible to manage and process the data. To check the applicability of the platform, it is applied to estimate the weights of offshore structure topsides. In this study, we store data of existing FPSOs in Hadoop-based Hortonworks Data Platform (HDP), and perform regression analysis using RHadoop. We evaluate the effectiveness of large data processing by RHadoop by comparing the results of regression analysis and the processing time, with the results of using the conventional weight estimation program.

무선 시스템에서 가중치 오차 보정 알고리즘과 SVD를 이용한 다중 빔 조향에 대한 연구 (A Study on Multi Beam Steering using Weight Error Compensation Algorithm and SVD in Wireless System)

  • 본 논문에서는 무선 시스템에서 목표물 도래방향 추정에 대한 다중 빔에 대해서 연구한다. 빔 조향 방법은 고각 방향의 빔 조향 방식 또는 빔 형성 방식, 스택 빔 조향, 주파수 조향, 위상 조향 및 디지털 빔 형성 등으로 구분 된다. 제안된 알고리즘은 효과적인 빔 조향을 하기위해서 위상과 크기를 보정하는 안테나 가중치 오차 보정기법과 특이 행렬을 결합한 방법이다. 본 논문에서는 빔 조향 추정 알고리즘을 제안하여 디지털 빔 형성 레이더에 빔조향 방식을 적용하여 목표물을 추정하였다. 모의실험을 통해서 본 연구에서 제안된 알고리즘의 성능을 기존 알고리즘과 비교 분석하였다. 목표물 도래방향 추정에서 본 연구에서 제안한 알고리즘이 기존 알고리즘보다 도래방향 추정 능력이 향상된 것을 입증하였다.

  • Since Jan. 2004, the Ministry of Construction and Transportation has partly introduced estimation system of historical cost data in order to reflect result cost of construction market to cost estimation for public construction. And KEPCO started estimation system of historical cost data in the electrical construction works. Electrical construction cost index a matter of great importance. This paper was conducted to examine estimation methods of the items of the price index estimation system of historical cost data and suggest reasonable applications.

Constraint-Combined Adaptive Complementary Filter for Accurate Yaw Estimation in Magnetically Disturbed Environments

  • One of the major issues in inertial and magnetic measurement unit (IMMU)-based 3D orientation estimation is compensation for magnetic disturbances in magnetometer signals, as the magnetic disturbance is a major cause of inaccurate yaw estimation. In the proposed approach, a kinematic constraint is used to provide a measurement equation in addition to the accelerometer and magnetometer signals to mitigate the disturbance effect on the orientation estimation. Although a Kalman filter (KF) is the most popular framework for IMMU-based orientation estimation, a complementary filter (CF) has its own advantages over KF in terms of mathematical simplicity and ease of implementation. Accordingly, this paper introduces a quaternion-based CF with a constraint-combined correction equation. Furthermore, the weight of the constraint relative to the magnetometer signal is adjusted to adapt to magnetic environments to optimally deal with the magnetic disturbance. In the results of our validation experiments, the average and maximum of yaw errors were $1.17^{\circ}$ and $1.65^{\circ}$ from the proposed CF, respectively, and $8.88^{\circ}$ and $14.73^{\circ}$ from the conventional CF, respectively, showing the superiority of the proposed approach.

AHP분석을 통한 지질도 및 주제도의 가치구성요소별 중요도 분석 (The Estimation of Weight of Attributes of Geological & Thematic Maps Using the AHP Method)

  • 지질도 및 지질주제도들은 자원개발, 사회간접시설, 환경보전, 보건, 국방, 학술 및 교육 등 다양한 용도로 활용되고 있으며, 경제, 사회적으로 다양한 편익을 유발하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process) 방법을 통해 지질도 및 주제도의 가치를 구성하는 요소를 검토, 분석하여 각 요소별 중요도의 계량적 결과를 제시하였다. 분석 결과 신뢰성이 가지는 가치의 비중이 50% 이상으로 가장 높게 나타났으며, 편리성과 파급성은 $16%{\sim}30%$ 정도의 중요도를 가지는 것으로 나타났다. 하위 속성은 대부분의 경우에서 측정 정보의 정확성이 차지하는 비중이 가장 높은 것으로 분석되었다. 한편, 지질도 및 주제도 사용량의 경우 대축척 도면의 사용량이 상대적으로 크게 증가할 것으로 나타났다.
