  • The production and authoring of digital multimedia contents are most important fields in multimedia technology. Nowadays web-based technology and related multimedia software technology are growing in the IT industry and these technologies are evolving most rapidly in our life. The technology of digital audio and video processing is utilizing rapidly to improve quality of our life, Also we are more interested in high sense and artistic feeling in the music and entertainment areas by use of three dimensional (3D) digital sound technology continuously as well as 3D digital video technology. The service field of digital audio contents is increasing rapidly through the Internet. And the society of Internet users wants the audio contents service with better quality. Recently Internet users are not satisfying the sound quality with 2 channels stereo but seeking the high quality of sound with 5,] channels such as 3D audio of the movie films. But it might be needed proper hardware equipments for the service of 3D sound to satisfy this demand. In this paper, we expand the simple 3D audio generator developed and propose a web-based music bank by the software development of 3D audio generation player in 3D sound environment with two speakers minimizing hardware equipments, Also we believe that this study would contribute greatly to digital 3D sound service of high quality for music and entertainment mania.

Study on acceptance and user satisfaction of tourism - Focused on TAM Model - (관광블로그의 수용과 사용자만족에 관한 연구)

  • In recent years, blogs have become important resources for information sharing; and tourism blogs are providing a new way of sharing tour experiences. Blogs are becoming very popular amongst web users to share their life experiences with other web users around the world. Specifically the goals of this research are; (1) to suggest theory framework of acceptance and user satisfaction about toruism blogs based on TAM, (2) to examine relationships between exogenous variables and (3) to suggest effectiveness of tourism blogs in a marketing perspective. The research model and hypotheses were developed based on the theories of technology acceptance model. Questionnaire was used to collect data. The analysis of this study is designed as individual level to examine the causal relationship among variables. The the reliability and validity of data was tested by explanatory factor analysis, Cronbach's alpha coefficient, confirmatory factor analysis, and correlation analysis. Also, the structural equation model(SEM) analysis was performed to test the usefulness of the model. The analysis results revealed that interaction, entertainment, system quality and information quality are major influential variables on the perceived usefulness of tourism blog. Also, entertainment and system quality are influential variables on the perceived ease of use of tourism blog.

  • This paper proposes and then verifies a model that can be used to forecast the effects of behavior on mobile advertising based on the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and Web Advertising Effect. The objective of this research is to probe the relationship between the cause and effect of the entertainment, informativeness, usefulness, capacity to accommodate smart-environment technologies, Hedonic Adaptation Model (HAM), etc. that mobile advertisements provide, as well as the attitudes toward advertisements in general. In order to accomplish this goal, the research was verified using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), and the results are as follows. First, the informativeness of mobile advertising has a positive effect on the recognized ease of use. Second, the entertainment and informativeness of mobile advertising has positive effects on the recognized usefulness. Third, the recognized ease of use has a positive effect on the recognized usefulness. Fourth, the informativeness of mobile advertising causes a positive effect on smart-environment technologies. Fifth, the entertainment and informativeness of mobile advertising cause positive effects on the HAM. Sixth, smart-environment technologies cause positive effects on the HAM. Seventh, the recognized usefulness causes a positive effect on the value of mobile advertising and the intention of use. Eighth, the HAM has a positive effect on the value of mobile advertising and the general attitudes toward it. Ninth, the value of mobile advertising has a positive effect on the attitudes toward advertising. Tenth, the attitudes toward mobile advertising have a positive effect on the intention of use.

Exploring Individual Differences and Flow in Web 2.0 Services (웹 2.0에서 사용자 특성과 플로우 간 관계)

  • Using flow theory as our foundation, we empirically tested the impact of three personality traits on the level of flow state experience and three user-generated content (UGC) usage types. Findings indicate that extroversion is positively related to the use of UGCs for entertainment, and negatively related to the use of UGCs for communication and information; neuroticism is positively related to the use of UGCs for entertainment and communication; and psychoticism is negatively related to the use of UGCs for information. In addition, only extroversion has an influence on flow, which is positive, and flow has a positive influence on UGC usage for entertainment and communication. This study extends flow theory by exploring antecedents and outcomes of the flow state experience.

  • The purpose of this study was to characterize the attitudes of Net generation customers toward purchasing fashion products or apparels through Cyber communication media. This study targeted 333 individuals aged from 14 to 24 purchasing fashion apparels through the Interned or PC communication. The data were analyzed by using frequency analysis, factor analysis, t-test, ANOVA by SASS package. The results of this study are as follows : 1. Fashion life-style of Net generation is classified into four groups - Fashion attached type, Web entertainment type, Web information type, Web media purchasing type. Net-Generation shows a little preference for brand. 2. As a result of the statistical analysis of each group's demographic variables, price is not so important when purchasing and according to the analysis of age, it proves that twenties are trendier than teenagers. 3. The most significant factor of information search is watching others' clothes and the most popular place for purchase is wholesale mall. Net-Generation has a little intention to purchase through Cyber communication media.

  • This study identifies the key determinants and technology innovation adoption type of participation in multimedia UCC services. This research examines how the major factors of perceived usability, self-expression, fun & entertainment, arousal, information sharing, other's positive reputation and interface easiness contribute to participation in multimedia UCC services. A sample survey of internet users was conducted, responses were collected from 629 respondents and consumer streaming data were analyzed. Some of the practical implications of the results are follows. This research have categorized that the types of technology adoption for the participation of UCC were innovator consumer, early adaptor consumer, early majority consumer, and late majority consumer. The results of multiple regression analysis indicated that perceived usability, interface easiness, fun & entertainment, self-expression, arousal, other's positive reputation and type of technology adoption posited a significant effect in multimedia UCC Services.

  • In the recent IT field, the biggest concerns may be Mobile environment. This means that it becomes part of our life: the Mobile is applied to the areas of teaching, studying, commercial transaction, entertainment etc. In this paper, we implemented Mobile E-BOOK bookstore using WEB, DB, and a Mobile technology. This system takes duplex from to be available in Mobile WEB environment by PDA and actuality WEB site under desk top environment. This paper have presented big possibility in terms of embodied electronic commerce based on the Mobile-based E-BOOKstore system that has not attempted yet commercially.

  • When various kinds of contents are developed in accordance with higher rate of Internet use to have quality conditions, added values can be elevated in genuinely strong power of Internet. As soon as visiting web site on Internet, men are invited to visit corresponding information web site by a variety of techniques and colors. The visual expression is thought to be important, and color plans of web designs play an important role. This is because the color decides on images of web design to transfer sense as an important element. The paper selected colors by each type of web site and investigated color images. The purpose of the paper is to classify local web sites by each type, for instance, identity, information/community, entertainment, shopping and learning, etc and to suggest directions of color image plan by each type of web site.

  • Recently, with improvement of internet service technology, web service has been affecting the environment for computing user. Not only current events, economics, game, entertainment, but also personal financial system is processed by web pages through internet. When data transmission is implemented on the internet, webpage acquire text form code and transform them to DOM information, and then shows processed display to user by web browser. However, those information are not only easily accessed by diversified route, but also easily deformed by intentional purpose. Furthermore, it is also possible to acquire logon information of users and certification information by detouring security mechanism. Therefore, this dissertation propose the method to verify integrity of web contents by using BHO which is one of the Add-On program based on MS Internet Explorer platform which is one of major web browser program designed by MicroSoft to detect any action of webpage deformation.

  • This study examines web query types and topics submitted to Naver during one year period by analyzing query logs and click logs. Query logs capture queries users submitted to the system, and click logs consist of documents users clicked and viewed. This study presents a methodology to classify query types and topics. A method for click log analysis is also suggested. When classified by query types, there are more site search queries than content search queries. Queries about computer/internet. entertainment, shopping. game, education rank hightest. The implications for system designers and web content providers are discussed.
