Introduction and application of virtual education has been rapidly increased in these days. A variation of information communication technology has an effect on education in interconnect with network as internet in the world that exceed the limit of time and regional. Computer and network communication technology through the medium of internet make an entrance cyber education as a new education paradigm. It must be affective on learner who have various educational characteristics and requirements. It begins to appear quality, quantity improvements of knowledge and the development of information technology that web based cyber education. This study was conducted to develop the web based education program and to evaluate the effectiveness of learning satisfaction and accomplishment and to compare the cyber lecture system with the traditional lecture system During the second semester of 2001, this study was investigated 317 registered students in a "Food and Culture" class at Kyungwon University. The data were obtained from pre and post-study with self-administered questionnaire. The evaluation and satisfaction score of students who were registered in cyberclass was negative tendency to compare pre with post-test scores, because of insuffciency of computer-aided lecture system. The major problem was inconvenient in checking system for connecting times in cyberclass which was one of evaluation point in final score. Another problem was frequently disconnection during cyber studying and not to concentrate each time in the cyber lecture because of eye fatigue, boring due to less interesting contents than other newly developed web-site. The students was prefer to mix type of the cyber and traditional lecture type class. The result of final score an each class, the score of cyber class (71.36 $\pm$ 22.44) was significantly lower than other groups (mixed type : 76.66 $\pm$ 19.99, traditional type :79.17 $\pm$ 15.72) (p < 0.05). Cyber class was attempted to present a useful and interesting teaching and learning tool which can be applied successfully in a longer term. The result suggest that various teaching and learning strategies should be developed considering the fact that the student learn alone most in time.t in time.

Modern society came to enjoy dramatically advanced information technologies by the digitalization of New Media with the improvement of communication technologies and interaction between various information system and technologies. New service by web, not only text but image, audio and moving image have opened new experience possible for us. The development was possible because the web has characteristics of media making Remediation of various media possible. The web has remediated newspaper, magazines, TV, audio, movie by taking them, competing with them, attacking them and absorbing them. As a result, now we can enjoy various characteristics of different media at the Web. This study is to look into the effectiveness of Remediation at web design through various case studies. This study also is to seek more effective methods of expressions in the web and future improvement direction.

In this paper, we developed the web content of statistical analysis using statistical package and Active Server Page (ASP). A statistical package is very difficult to learn and use for non-statisticians, however, non-statisticians want to do analyze the data without learning statistical packages such as SAS, S-plus, and R. Therefore, we developed the web based statistical analysis contents using S-plus which is the popular statistical package and ASP. In real application, we developed the web content for various statistical analyses such as exploratory data analysis, analysis of variance, and time series on the web using water quality data. The developed statistical analysis web content is very useful for non-statisticians such as public service person and researcher. Consequently, combining a web based contents with a statistical package, the users can access the site quickly and analyze data easily.

Due to the development of web technologies and the increasing use of smart devices such as smart phone, in recent various web services are widely used in many application fields. In this environment, the topic of supporting personalized and intelligent web services have been actively researched, and an analysis technique on a web-click stream generated from web usage logs is one of the essential techniques related to the topic. In this paper, for efficient analyzing a web-click stream of sequences, a sequential pattern mining technique is proposed, which satisfies the basic requirements for data stream processing and finds a refined mining result. For this purpose, a concept of interesting sequential patterns with a time-interval constraint is defined, which uses not on1y the order of items in a sequential pattern but also their generation times. In addition, A mining method to find the interesting sequential patterns efficiently over a data stream such as a web-click stream is proposed. The proposed method can be effectively used to various computing application fields such as E-commerce, bio-informatics, and USN environments, which generate data as a form of data streams.

With the advent of smart devices, users are able to connect to each other through the Internet without the constraints of time and space. Because the Internet has become increasingly important to users in their everyday lives, reliance on it has grown. As a result, the number of web sites constantly increases and the competition between these sites becomes more intense. Even those sites that operate successfully struggle to establish new strategies for customer retention and customer development in order to survive. Many companies use various customer information in order to establish marketing strategies based on customer group segmentation A method commonly used to determine the customer groups of individual sites is to infer customer characteristics based on the customers' demographic information. However, such information cannot sufficiently represent the real characteristics of customers. For example, users who have similar demographic characteristics could nonetheless have different interests and, therefore, different buying needs. Hence, in this study, customers' interests are first identified through an analysis of their Internet news inquiry records. This information is then integrated in order to identify each web category. The study then analyzes the possibilities for the practical use of the proposed methodology through its application to actual Internet news inquiry records and web site browsing histories.

본 논문에서는 배전 공가설비인 통신케이블 및 기타 통신설비의 관리에 있어 종합적인 정보를 제공할 수 있도록 하는 Web GIS시스템을 구현하였다. 현재 우리나라의 통신망은 세계적으로 관련 컨텐츠 사업의 시험무대라고 일컬어질 정도로 광범위하고 빠른 네트워크를 구성하고 있다. 이러한 빠른 통신망의 확장은 에너지의 근간인 전력망을 활용하고 있기에 가능하였다고 해도 과언이 아니다. 바로 기존 전력설비에 수많은 통신 회선이 공가 되어 운영되어 질 수 있었기 때문이다. 이는 공익성을 우선시하여 운영되어지고 있는 전력사업과 그동안 정보통신사업 육성이라는 정부시책이 맞물려 통신사업자의 빈번한 공가설비 신설 요청이 있었기 때문에 가능하였다. 무엇보다 통신사업자들의 무분별한 경쟁으로 최근 무단 공가설비가 늘어남으로써 전력회사는 통신공가설비관리에 많은 어려움을 겪고 있다. 이러한 문제점을 해소하기 위해 본 논문에서는 GE에너지사의 SIAS(Samllworld Internet Application)를 이용하여 기존에 한국전력에서 운영하고 있는 NDIS(New Distribution Information System)공가 관리 시스템과 상호연동 될 수 있도록 해주는 Web GIS 기반의 배전 공가설비 정보관리 시스템 개발에 관하여 연구 하게 되었으며 이를 운영함으로써 각 통신 사업자들 간의 정보공유와 무단 통신 공가 설비의 근절 및 보다 효율적인 공가설비 운영이 가능 할 것이다.

This paper deals with the design and development of the remote control and measurement systems by Embedded Web Server. The remote control and measurement systems are implemented by Cortex M-3 ARM micro-controller. The user application software for the control and measurement system user, and the firmware software of device drivers for peripherals such as a digital input/output device, AD/DAC(Analog to Digital/Digital to Analog Converter), LCD, and temperature/humidity sensor are developed in Eclipse environment using Codesourcery C, Java script, and HTML. The experimental result of the proposed control and measurement systems implemented in this paper is evaluated via real-time experiments, which works well as designed.

There are currently tremendous amount of geotechnical information saved, which has been qcquired for essential application of site selection, plan, design, constructin, repari in the builing work. However, due to the lack of the location data attribute, there has been a trouble in its analysis and GIS implementation. In this study, the geotechnical information aquisition program(PGeo) for real-time database in the field and geotechnical information reporting program(GeoReport) by Web-GIS for additional data input and its reporting function has been developed.

Due to the development of technology even in learning and education area, many studies have begun to make a new attempts to research by using SNS, breaking away from traditional learning methods. However, the limitations of these studies are restricted only to the use of wireless Internet and writing on Web sites. This study aims to conduct a research on English learning activities that utilize various technologies such as Bigdata, Facebook, Social Network Services (SNS) and English applications. In addition, this study looks into how these modern technologies can be integrated in the classrooms and which activities can be applied in the English classroom. This research is to suggest effective English learning methods through a thorough investigation on the effectivity of various technologies based on the Web 2.0 such as Flickr, blogs, MySpace, and online discussion board within the context of the English learning. To verify the effect of the study, the subjects are divided into experimental and control group. The experiment is proceeded with pre- and post-test. The experimental group is designed to verify the effects using SNS tools such as Facebook, Bigdata, and Online Massive Learning. A survey is conducted to determine the preference of utilizing social networking sites and to analyze the effects in class. The result is that the average scores for experimental group have improved more than the average of control group. The comparison of pre and post-test of the experimental group shows that the significance of the higher and median group was statistically significant at the p<0.01.

In this study, the simulation program using the randomwalk model is developed. Generally, students in the chemistry class have some difficulties to understand the motion of atomic particles or molecules. And then, they have many mis-conceptions about the motion of molecules. This program expressed by the computer simulations using the randomwalk theory may help students to understand visually the process of molecular motion. This program can be used easily, because it is based on Web by application of JAVA languages. The program consists of two parts. One is 'Diffusion' program, expressing the process of molecular diffusion as a computer simulation. Another is 'Randomwalk' program, expressing the trajectory of molecular motion to help the students to follow the random motion virtually.
