When a consumer intends to purchase products through Internet stores, many difficulties are met because of limitations of the current search engines and the current web structure, and lack of tools supporting decision-makings. This paper raises an Internet shopping problem and proposes a framework of decision making process to settle it with an intelligent agent based on Semantic Web and Finite Domain Constraint. The agent uses finite domain constraint programming as modeling and solution methods for the decision problem under the Semantic Web environment.

Vocational rehabilitation is defined as a process which helps people with disabilities to maintain life of non-disabled people and vocational assessment is a part of it. Traditionally, vocational assessment is performed through using of assessment tools, vocational counseling and so on. It is very efficient to apply vocational assessment to people with disabilities using the internet, but we should provide them with web accessibility. In this paper, we design and implement the aptitude test system for people with visual impairment supporting web accessibility. We develop the aptitude test system using the Holland Test which is the assessment tool of career guidance and counseling. We also show that the aptitude test system for people with visual impairment supports web accessibility more than previous Holland Test which is served in the internet.

지금까지 우리나라의 GIS는 국가 중심의 GIS로, 사용자들이 적극 참여하거나 민간 산업 부분으로 확대되기에는 기술력, 비용 등의 한계를 갖고 있었다. 그래서 우리는 Open Source를 이용하여 종래 GIS의 한계를 극복하고 Google Map, Google Earth, Sketch Up을 연동한 Web Portal Site 구축을 통하여, 사용자들이 의사결정을 하는데 도움이 되는 효율적인 정보를 제공하며 이들이 곧 정보 창출의 주체가 되는 쌍방향적인 참여를 이끌어내고자 한다.

A research shows that a new category of software, Collaborative Product Commerce (CPC), is now emerging, allowing discrete manufacturers to once again distinguish themselves on their products and innovations. CPC permits discrete manufacturers to significantly improve the core processes around the management functions associated with the complete product life cycle that are the basis of their existence. As a way to develop computing tools of CPC to support a design process of product, a web-based design supporting system was constructed in the paper. The system consists of C-Product system and Net Meeting Communication system to improve communications between designers and persons for verification of design. The product data files of C-Product system were designed by Pro/Engineer and converted to 3D Viewer format for being used in the web browser. Also, Net Meeting Communication system and Database were developed using ASP and Microsoft SQL 2000 Server to share diverse files that can be utilized to design on the web in real time.

An architecture of a Web-based Decision Support system for mathematical analysis is presented. Front-end modules provide web-client GUI environment for mathematical analysis. The networking architecture is built upon client/server system by Java socket and accesses database by JDBC in WWW. Back-end modules provide decision supporting service and data management for mathematical programming analysis. In the back-end any analysis tools, such as mathematical optimizer, simulation package, or statistics package can be used. As an application example for this implementation, optimal facility replacement decision problem is selected. In the implementation the optimal facility replacement decision problem is formulated as a shortest path problem. It uses Oracle DB and CPLEX package as the mathematical optimizer. While ORAWeb is designed and implemented on the optimal facility replacement problem, it can easily be extended to any decision supporting problems that would require mathematical optimization process.

From the growth of internet technology, many e-commerce principles have been Introduced In airline industry. The computer reservation systems(CRS) has been considered as the first real-time business application and the earliest examples of e-commerce. in airlines, the early e-business activity was to build the web site for providing flight Information to customers. Recently, many airlines are expanding the capability of the web site for selling tickets on the web to make use of the cheaper distribution channel. In this paper, we focus on the impacts of airline e-business being implemented in airline distribution channels. Using the conjoint analysis, we suggest a model for estimating the change of market sales for each distribution channel. With the empirical survey, we can find some implications on the e-business strategy and the effective internet marketing tools for airlines.

As the requirement of user for robot functionality, the function and interface for controlling the robot system is more sophisticated and complicated. Accordingly development process of robot is more complicated and it takes much longer time to develop a robot system. Software development using project management tool is more important in software engineering because of the complexity of software, especially robot system. This paper proposes SEED (Software Engineering Equipment for Development), which is a web-based and integrated software engineering tool to provide independent tools for robot software development. SEED includes the document management tool, the software configuration management tool, the software testing tool on developing robot software and provide a functionality of collaborated and remote development due to WEB-based operations.

Sasanag Contitution Medicine(SCM) is the traditional medicine theory based on constitutional medicine in Korea. It is most import ant that a personal SCM type is determined accurately ahead of applying any Sasang treatments. For this, many researches have been studied to diagnose the SCM type using constitutional clinical data. The decision tree is a tree-structured data-mining methodology. Recently, in the Korean traditional medicine society, there have been several efforts to find diagnosing tools using the decision tree method. So, we developed a decision tree program based on web for analyzing constitutional clinical information. It can use various clinical data as input data, offer filtering function to select clinical data to be used. We can find useful factor to be influential on SCM types using this program.

The study was done with the hypothesis that internet users' evaluation of hotel web sites would be differed depending on the class, location, size, ownership, and guest type of hotels. The study found that location, guest type are loosing their strategical importances in the internet marketing. However, class, size, and ownership are still favorable marketing tools with the internet. The study also found that the location gap between metropolitan and local hotels is decreasing, and the chance of attracting potential customers will be evenly offered to the two type of hotels in the internet oriented business environment.

The World-Wide Web provides new opportunities for cyber education over the internet. The web, when combined with other network tools, can be used to provide useful educational information to learners. Thus, the objective of this paper is to develop Java applets for understanding the principles of electronic circuits on the internet. Some sample Java applets are illustrated as an example. The results of this paper can be widely used to improve the efficiency of cyberlectures in the cyber university.
