The mobile environment which is based on the Internet is expanding the area of the web information systems. The mobile Internet is expanding mobile content and services due to the development of wireless network technology, the proliferation of smart terminal devices, and the emergence of a variety of mobile services platforms. A mobile web is to access to the Internet service using a mobile network or other wireless network using a smart phone or a mobile device. Recently, it is to increase the smart phone usage rapidly in the country, and many companies is entering the mobile market. There are increasing need for this operation plan of a mobile web information system. In this paper, we compared the COBIT, ITIL, the SLA, which are the International Information Systems operation standards, and the information system operation standards of Korea Information Security Agency. We analyzed the suitability of the mobile environment and information system operating instructions, and we compared mobile web, operating environments and the ITIL V3.

Recently, new GIS applications such as gee portal and spatial data infrastructure are emerging. These are related to web computing techniques or methodologies based on web 2.0 paradigm, open API of portal, open source GIS, and international GIS standards which are independently on developing. The product of these applications can be realized in the linkage of those components. In this study, a case implementation concerning linkage with Google maps API and open source middleware named Deegree is carried out, and the results are discussed for open source uses in geo portal. Open source middleware supports various levels and types of OGC standards, so that it enables web publishing in the several web standard formats and data exchanges and interoperable uses between external database servers. Also the (unction extensions and the multi tier-based architecture within geo portal for specific purpose are possible.

Image metadata is used to describe the contents, structures, and features of a given image data. There exist lots of image metadata-related standards. Such image metadata need to be shared to efficiently search the correct images in Web Service-enabled distributed environments. In this thesis, we propose an interoperable system architecture for utilizing image metadata and query extension methods using metadata mapping for correct and efficient image searching. In the proposed methods, the provider schema using non-standard image metadata are mapped into the schema based on the VRA standard, which is used as a basic and intermediary standard in MDR(MetaData Registry). We support mapping operations between the VRA standard and other standards, to reduce the number of unnecessary mapping operations and to enable easier addition of schema based on new standards. Using the proposed query processing methods, which utilize image metadata and overcome their heterogeneity by metadata mapping, it is possible to severely improve the correctness of image retrieval. To show the usefulness of our schemes, we implemented a prototype system and performed retrieval performance evaluation on extended query processing.

Currently, Price comparison sites receive inputs of product information and price manually after being joined by releted shopping mall companies, and can't support automatically price fluctuation of products in real time. Therefore, this paper designs and implements web service system based on SOAP for interactive product order and price comparison dynamically using web service technologies in real time. This web service system composes web service client module including functions of product search, sort and order, and server module including functions of remote procedure call for product search and order. This web service system implements interchanging product information based on SOAP messages and can support independence of platform and flexible potability in environment conforming to SOAP, WSDL and UDDI standards.

The purpose of this study is to design and implement web-based quality cost management system to measure the performance of quality improvement activities in the business firms. The designed web-based quality cost management system which is also known as WQCMS (Web-based Q-Cost Management System) utilized newly classified objective performance indicator items to measure quality related activities. Well-classified performance measurement Indicator item lists which are played key role in the system was researched and standardized according to size and business categories of enterprise. Its code standards are based from fundamental PAF Model. Developed WQCMS have ability to collect and analyze quality data generated from various different departments in the inside or outside of the enterprise without any limitations, if end-users are able to access wide area network. It provides the capability to integrate quality information from database and to generate various easy analysis reports to management's needs using built-in analysis tool modules with real-time. The proposed system was developed using Microsofi's .Net technology, ASP.NET and MS-SQL Server 2000. By web-enabling Q-cost management system, the effectiveness of the system management and utilization was realized by easiness of information Integration and economical efficiency.

This web service system composes web service client module including functions of product search, product sort, product order and UDDI retrieval browser, and server module including functions of remote procedure call for product search/order and functions of UDDI publish browser, and mobile client module supporting functions for product search/order in wireless environments. This web service system can exchange product information based on SOAP messages and support independence of platform and flexible portability in environment conforming to SOAP, WSDL and UDDI standards.

This paper describes the structural design and optimization of sinusoidally corrugated web girder by using EUROCODE (EN 1993-1-5). The optimum design methodology and characteristics of the optimal cross-section are discussed. We investigate a shear buckling and the concerned standards for corrugated web and explain the equations to obtain a critical stress according to buckling type. In order to perform optimization, we consider an objective function as minimum weight of the girder and use the constraint functions as slenderness ratio and stresses of flanges as well as corrugated web and deflection. Genetic Algorithm is adopted to search a global optimum solution for this mathematical model. For numerical example, the clamped girder under the concentrated load is considered, while the optimum cross-sectional area and design variables are analyzed. From the results of the adopted example, the optimum design program of the sinusoidally corrugated web girder is able to find the suitable solution which satisfied a condition subject to constraint functions. The optimum design shows the tendency to decrease the cross-sectional area with the yielding strength increase and increase the areas with load increase. Moreover, the corrugated web thickness shows a stable increase concerning the load.

The University's web library is a form of library that enables to deal with information about searching loaning, returning of books or data housed in it through web. With the advent of the network and multimedia following the entrance to an information-oriented society, we are experiencing a big change in how to communicate and acquire information. Massive multimedia information transmitted by image and moving picture through the network, made it possible to overstep the limit of the physical gap between information suppliers and users. Despite this important role, it is accompanied by problems such as copyright, scarcity of recognition, paralysis of infra, technical matters and reliability which demand development. In this thesis, according to the State University Evaluation Standards, search node and user interface by system used in 20 different universities possessing web-based library sites were compared are analysed. On the basis of this, an experimental user interface for web-based University libraries was produced, and various questionnaires and data leer this produced interface were collected, classified and analyzed. With the application of the results for the work above to the general search system interface of the web-based library, we proposed a new user interface that contains the following functions, such as location and loan condition of books, search frequency and steps for purchasing books inside the web library.

Unlike concrete bridge, steel bridge resists external force by forming thin plate. Thus, because steel girder bridge has big slenderness ratio, buckling is a major design factor. Plate girder consists of flange and web plate. Because of economic views, web plate that resists shear forces is made by more thinner plate. Thus, web plate has much risk for buckling. The objective of this study is to analyze the buckling behaviors of plate girder and to present the proper reinforcement location of longitudinal stiffeners. Various parametric study according to the change of web height, transverse stiffeners and load condition are examined.

Recently, there has been rising concerns to integrate and connect a developed spatial information services without consideration of location in the heterogeneous distributed environment. The Open GIS Consortium provides system architecture model related to open web service for spatial information. This paper discusses the issues related to the web service framework for spatial information services using standards of Open GIS Consortium. In particular, we concentrate upon the WRS that support the runtime discovery and evaluation of resources. The technology for integration of spatial information services is expected to get synergy effect and overcomes limit of individual development of each spatial information technology. Also this system provides the interoperability and the reusability and prevents the duplication development of system.
