In recent, the advancement of wearable devices and wireless body area networking technologies motivate researchers to pay attention to remote healthcare system for monitoring patients health and disease progression effectively. However, in order to implement a practical remote healthcare system, we must consider the security and privacy of patient's personal health information transmitted to healthcare servers through the network. Hence, in this paper, we propose a secure health data transmission protocol in remote healthcare monitoring system to protect patient's health information and prevent privacy from eavesdropping on the network. To achieve our security goals, we design an efficient secure protocol based on the identity-based cryptography with key evolution technique, and then confirm the superiority and the efficiency of the proposed protocol as compared with the existing protocol of Yang et al.

Recently, as interest in health increases, various wearable devices such as smart watch and smart band which can measure user's biometric information are being studied. Conventional wearable devices service the measured biometric information in a form that provides simple monitoring, disease prevention, and exercise amount. However, the user is Lack to deal with the dangerous situation. In this paper, we propose a hazard notification system to address these problems. The biometric information measured by the acceleration sensor and the heart rate sensor is transmitted to the application through the Arduino in real time. It identifies the risk situation through sensor priority measurement and risk situation identification algorithm. If a dangerous situation occurs, a notification message is sent to the guardian indicating the current location of the user. Therefore, it can be expected that if a dangerous situation occurs to a user who needs protection, he can respond promptly.

Due to the development of mobile computing and wearable technology, various wearable devices for measuring bio-signals in everyday life have been developed and popularized, and healthcare services utilizing bio-signals are attracting attention. In recent years, healthcare services have been developed and studied using various bio-signal analysis tools. Most bio-signal analysis studies utilize Matlab. However, in order to apply the algorithm developed in Matlab to the system, it is necessary to convert the source. We want to provide a smart interface that can skip source conversion. In this paper, we develop an interface to run the source file itself in the system by omitting the conversion technique for applying the algorithm developed in Matlab to the system.

Ubiquitous Healthcare (u-Healthcare) is the intelligent delivery of healthcare services to users anytime and anywhere. To provide robust healthcare services, recognition of patient daily life activities is required. Context information in combination with user real-time daily life activities can help in the provision of more personalized services, service suggestions, and changes in system behavior based on user profile for better healthcare services. In this paper, we focus on the intelligent manipulation of activities using the Context-aware Activity Manipulation Engine (CAME) core of the Human Activity Recognition Engine (HARE). The activities are recognized using video-based, wearable sensor-based, and location-based activity recognition engines. An ontology-based activity fusion with subject profile information for personalized system response is achieved. CAME receives real-time low level activities and infers higher level activities, situation analysis, personalized service suggestions, and makes appropriate decisions. A two-phase filtering technique is applied for intelligent processing of information (represented in ontology) and making appropriate decisions based on rules (incorporating expert knowledge). The experimental results for intelligent processing of activity information showed relatively better accuracy. Moreover, CAME is extended with activity filters and T-Box inference that resulted in better accuracy and response time in comparison to initial results of CAME.

With the increased attention about health care and management of heart diseases, ubiquitous healthcare services and related devices have been actively developed recently. In this paper we developed a mobile healthcare system which consists of smartphone and patch-type ECG measuring device. This system is capable of monitoring, storing, and sending bio signals such as ECG, heart rate, heart rate variability as well as exercise management functions through heart rate zones. With monitoring bio signal continuously by mobile healthcare system and wearable device like us, people can prevent chronic disease and maintain good health. Here we report our implementation results on real platforms.
With the development of IoT technology, wearable services have also developed rapidly. Wearable devices required for this service are used as sensors and controllers in the form of smart bands. Wearable devices implement very concise SWlogic for possible long-term use and use wireless communication protocols to improve convenience. However, because this wearable device aims to be lightweight, it is more vulnerable to security than terminals used for other information services. Many smart healthcare or smart medical services are passive or do not apply security technology. By exploiting this security environment, attackers can obtain or modify important information through access to wearable devices. In this study, we analyzed the technical operating environment of wearable services and identified authentication information reuse attacks, BIAS attacks, battery drain attacks and firmware attacks on wearable devices. And we analyzed the mechanism of each security threat and confirmed the attack effect. In this study, we presented a response plan to respond to the identified security threats. When developing wearable services, it is expected that safer services can be built if the response plan proposed in this study is considered.

Recently, many domestic and foreign corporates are concentrating in investment to wearable devices and users are provided with various service based on wearable devices 26% more than compared to last year. It is widely used in previous healthcare, smart work, smart home environment, and it is now introduced to get connection to fused service environment. However, as products of G company are commercialized, the security issue of personal information is causing dispute in society, and the danger of data management and security regarding telecommunication is increasing. Also, because the password system used in previous wireless environment is still in use, there are possible vulnerability considering the new and mutant security threat. This thesis conducted study about protocols that can exercise safe telecommunication in the basis of wearable devices. In the registration and certification process, the signature value is created based on the code value. The telecommunication method is designed to conduct safe telecommunication based on the signature value. As for the attack method occurring in the wearable device environment, the safety was analyzed and conducted performance evaluation of previous password system and proposal system, and verified about 14% of efficiency.
Significance verification of electric fabric compared with existing electrode is very useful for the wearable and ubiquitous healthcare. In this paper, we verified the significance between Ag/AgCl electrode and electric fabric in dry-normal condition through heart rate variability analysis. We can find 98 % or more similarity about low frequency and high frequency which is important parameter for the heart rate variability analysis between two different electrodes in experiment. From this result, we confirmed that the power spectral density of low frequency, high frequency component from the electric fabric has high similarity compared with the result of heart rate variability from Ag/AgCl electrode in dry-normal condition.

Nowadays there are various smart devices and development with the development of smart phones and that can be attached to the human body wearable computing device has been in the spotlight. In this paper, we proceeded developing wearable devices in watch type which can detect user's movement and developing a system which connects the wearable devices to smart TVs, or smart phones so that users can save and manage their physical information in those devices. Health care wearable devices already existing save information by connecting their systems to smart phones. And, smart TV health applications usually include motion detecting systems using cameras. However, there is a limit when connecting smart phone systems to different devices from various companies. Also, in case of smart TV, because some devices may not have cameras, there can be a limit for users who wants to connect their devices to smart TVs. Wearable device and user information collected by using the smart phone and when it is possible to exercise and manage anywhere. This information can also be confirmed by the smart TV applications. By using this system will be able to take advantage of the study of the behavior of the future work of the user more accurately be measured in recognition technology and other devices.
A security company has been proposed for various healthcare systems. However, there are improvements in order to achieve better efficiency and stability in the various protocols presented. The purpose of this paper is to provide cryptanalysis and solution on Vijayakumar et al.'s secure communication scheme for healthcare system using wearable devices. Especially, it is weak against denial of service attack and it does not provide integrity of the transmitted messages. Thereby, this paper proposes a new secure communication scheme to cope from the problems in Vijayakumar et al.'s scheme. It provides authentication and integrity, which could be the security solution against Vijayakumar et al.'s scheme. Furthermore, it also provides a good computational overhead compared to Vijayakumar et al.'s scheme.
