  • The part in the structure that is most affected by changes of external temperature is the protective concrete layer that protects a waterproofing layer. Also, the waterproofing layer that is situated under or on the back of such a protective concrete layer is affected by temperature and the behavior of the protective concrete layer under the condition of consolidation or close adhesion. In particular, in many cases, the damage is serious mainly around the projection (such as a parapet), crack, and joint (expansion joint). However, there is no proper way of examining again the non-exposed waterproofing layer once it has been constructed. Therefore, there is an assessment only on the physical property of materials and the capability of the layer in construction, and there is no actual assessment in consideration of its environmental condition or the condition of the use of buildings after construction. Therefore, in order to create more pleasant buildings and to enhance the durability of structures, this study conducts research into the change of capability of non-exposed waterproofing material after the application of a static load and moving load on the waterproofing layer situated under or on the back of protective concrete.

  • Waterproofing is one of the important factor to improve performance of building elements. But existing repair system for waterproofing have many problems like a damage of waterproof layer due to movement of concrete substrate, blistering effect and moisture condition. So waterproofing layer can not play an important part to improve waterproofing function and performance of building. Therefore, new waterproofing system to solve these problems of existing waterproofing system is developed. In this paper, new waterproofing system in water-leakage repair for remodeling is introduced

  • The combined waterproofing technique, which forms the waterproofing layer of two or more substances, is characterized by forming a waterproof layer, which is characterized by the formation of waterproof layers and the thickness of the waterproofing layer is inherently formed. In this study, it is intended to verify the integrity of the material through the manufacture of materials for special purpose waterproofing methods, primarily for the manufacture of composite waterproofing materials and composite waterproofing methods using cement materials and materials.

  • Construction projects and buildings are becoming taller and larger, and the size of water tanks of production facilities and high-rise buildings is also gradually increasing. Most large water tanks apply a waterproofing layer to the water tank type concrete structure. The application of polyurea coating materials, which are excellent in water resistance, chemical resistance, physical performance, rapid hardening, and workability is gradually increasing as waterproofing and anticorrosion layer for water tank. As a result, defects such as water leakage and damage to the waterproofing layer are continuously occurring, causing production disruption, setback to users. Therefore, it is required to review suitability through performance verification of the waterproofing and anticorrosion system.

  • The waterproofing of Building on the roof has been exposed more underground or the other part of waterproofing than environmental factor(solar heat, UV, salt, acid rain, wind, temperature, snow, rain, etc.) or physical factor. So it must be have a waterproofing performance and it has a special technique for the maintaining of concrete durability. Therefore, exposed waterproof layer has to protected from UV, solar heat, rain and the outside environment also, to endurance durability methods spread face plate topcoat material on the waterproof layer. But, actuality faceplate waterproof layer of topcoat materials are unbearable to UV, solar heat and moisture etc. and it doesn't have adhesion with waterproof layer in the middle. So it happens to crack, separating and heaving etc. Therefore, in the study, we will suggest that using of the exposed roof waterproof layer topcoat materials test method manage rooftop waterproof layer for the durability and the stability.

  • Of the total defects that have occurred recently in the Korean construction market, over 30% are caused by the construction of defective waterproofing, and the phenomenon of air pockets in the waterproofing layer, which is caused by the concrete vapor pressure, is known to be the primary cause of defective waterproofing. Accordingly, in this study the theory about the relationship between water pressure and temperature as well as the damp-proofing volume of concrete and, then, the change of vapor pressure volume was measured and analyzed by making a test sample after spraying a dampness remover and a waterproofing material to a prepared test body. As a result of measuring the water vapor pressure for the surface temperature of the waterproofing layer with the fluid-applied membrane temperature based on about $10^{\circ}C$, which is the average temperature of Seoul, it was found that first, the fluid-applied membrane elevated up to about $40^{\circ}C$, and the water vapor pressure generated from the fluid-applied membrane was about $0.3kgf/cm^2$ when the surface temperature of the waterproofing layer was raised up to about $80^{\circ}C$. Second, when the fluid-applied membrane temperature of the waterproofing layer was raised from $30^{\circ}C\;to\;35^{\circ}C,\;about\;0.1kgf/cm^2$ of water vapor pressure was generated, and when supplying a thermal source to raise the fluid-applied membrane temperature of the waterproofing layer from $35^{\circ}C\;to\;40^{\circ}C$, approximately $0.05kgf/cm^2$ of water vapor pressure was generated.
