  • The Water usage is relationship which is close with the administrative cost from industrial facility. It is not easy to reduce a water usage. This research is the optimization of the waste water quantity which process waste water integration of the standard thermal power plant in system operate time. The turbine rotates by force of the steam and it produces an electricity. Demineralization Water is manufacture purity manufacturing equipment and it is supplied in power plant channel. We knew a possibility of reducing from pure control process. When it is reduced the Back Washing time, Rinsing time of the gravity filter and the activated carbon filter. Also, It is possible even from regeneration phase in Condensate Polishing Demineralization System. In addition, There is also the water which the drain of the sampling water for watching the condition of power plant process will be able to use. Integrates these processes it will be able to reduce an annual 30,000 ton degree. The research is want to use the fundamental data for the water curtailment of the power plant.

  • Existing Deck Plate for a one of system forms, there is various advantage and application actual results increasing rapidly. But design of deck is depending on engineering data collections or design data on deck manufacture ordinarily. When construct, is responsible for deflection occurrence, And Because confirmation of crack occurrence region is impossible, there is difficulty of repair, reinforcement about crack and water leakage. According to got following conclusion as result that economic performance, preservation administration and repair reinforcement develops easy using steel truss snap tie by wedge pin on coating plywood that is slab Panel Wood System Form method of construction there is Deck Plate's advantage. (1) In stab lower part is exposed disjointing in which a criminal is fastened to be interrogated after construction acceptance and repair, reinforcement of crack is possible (2) Construction cost curtailment effect of about 29.2% than conventional type and about 10% than deck plate (3) Construction period reduction of about 3 day than conventional type and about 0.3 day than deck plate (4) Labor curtailment effect more than about $29{\sim}50%$ from conventional type

Performance Evaluation of Inter-Locking Block Using Fly Ash

  • In this paper, the properties of inter - locking block using fly ash are discussed in order to provide economical advantages and improve quality, and protect environment and recycle resources. Fly ash is the by-product of coal in thermal power plant. The experimental parameters are fly ash content, the amount of AE water - reducing agent and mixing proportion of cement mortar. According to the experimental results, the improvement of quality in the side of strength, absorption ratio and freeze - thaw resistance for manufacturing inter -locking block and the curtailment of cost can be achieved in case of 15% of fly ash and 0.3% of AE water- reducing agent are mixed into mortar mixture of 1 :6(C:S).

  • In this paper, the properties of inter-locking block using fly ash are investigated. Development of the Processing System for Pre-washed Rice

  • Demand for development of processing systems for pre-washed rice and propagation of the systems has recently been on the rise, because rice-cooking requires watering 15 times the rice quantity to cook, as in case of the regular rice currently being circulated in Korean market, in addition to paying the trouble of washing it for cooking, and besides the milky turbid water coming from the rice-washing contributes to water contamination. In this study, therefore, a processing system for pre-washed rice was designed and built with rice surface polishing devices that adopted abrading and airing methods, an electrostatic method and a method using a fine watering, to conduct its performance test. The result showed that turbidity of the wash water, which is the base to determine the pre-washed rice standard, turned out 47.33 ppm and 48.00 ppm respectively for 800 kg/hr and 1,000 kg/hr supplies, which meets the standard for the processing system free from rice-washing for cooking. The quantity of watering at this experiment was only 0.43 times the rice, thus resulting in curtailment of process-watering by approximately $69\%$ compared with the existing wet-type pre-washed rice processing system popular in Korean market.

  • It has been recognized that solar water heating systems are economically inferior to conventional gas water-heaters and boilers using light oil as fuel in spite of having practical possibilities among other alternative energy facilities in Korea. The solar system, however, should be revaluated due to the sharp rise of oil prices recently. We have calculated the energy amount and cost through a series of research projects for the system by experiment and simulation, which lead to analyzing reliable life cycle costs. For the economic analysis, the gas water-heater and light oil boiler were taken as base cases while the solar systems implemented with these facilities were compared as alternatives. As a result, the solar system using the light oil as an auxiliary fuel surpassed the light oil boiler in economics. And a $50\%$ government subsidy for the initial cost is needed to maintain competitiveness with the gas hot-water heater. With this support, the simple payback period of the system can approach 12.8 years under $20\%$ additional curtailment of expenditure.

  • 유비쿼터스 시대가 다가옴에 따라 핵심 기술 중 하나인 유비쿼터스 센서 네트워크에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있다. 현재 무선 통신 기술의 급속한 발전은 다양한 산업분야에서 편리성 및 용이성 측면에서 새로운 서비스들을 창출하고 있다. 특히, 환경 모니터링 분야에서 다양한 무선 통신 기술의 대두 및 발전은 설치 및 관련 비용의 대폭 절감뿐만 아니라 현장에서 실시간적으로 발생하는 자료의 수집주기, 신뢰성 및 전달성에 있어 획기적인 개선을 가능하게 하였다. 그러나 무선 통신 기술의 환경 모니터링 분야에 대한 지속적인 적용 및 성공은 신뢰할 수 있고 시기적절한 정보를 실시간적으로 제공 가능하느냐에 따를 것이다.

  • 기후변화 문제를 해결하기 위한 각국의 노력은 계속되고 있고, 친환경 연료로의 전환은 지속적으로 진행해야 할 인류의 과제이다. 국내에서는 최근 재생에너지자원이 비교적 풍부한 제주도에서 재생에너지와 연계한 그린수소를 생산하는 기술을 실증하기 위하여 준비 중이며, 본 연구에서는 국내외 기술현황을 파악 후 해외선진기업의 고분자 전해질 수전해 장치를 도입하여 적용하는 것을 목표로 하고 있다. 본 연구를 진행하면서 국외에서 제작되는 수전해 장치에 대하여 국내안전규제에 부합한 시스템 도입과정과 핵심부품의 평가방법을 소개하고자 한다.

안료 슬러지 감량화(減量化)를 위한 열필터프레스 기술(技術)에 관한 연구(硏究) (A study on the Thermal Filter Press for the Reduction of Pigment Sludge)

  • 안료 생산 공정의 슬러지로부터 물을 제거하는 감량화 공정은 제품의 질 향상, 건조경비 절감 그리고 안료 운송경비 절감 등의 다양한 측면에서 매우 중요하다. 안료입자는 크기가 $5{\mu}m$ 이하로 미세하여 기계적인 힘에 의한 탈수가 어렵다. 미세입자의 탈수율 향상을 위해 기존의 필터프레스 탈수장치의 압착판 사이에 고정 열판을 장착하고, 열수를 고정열판에 공급하여 케이크 층에 열을 공급하여 슬러지 탈수하는 열필터프레스 탈수장치를 개발하였다. 이 장치를 통해 압착공정의 유무 탈수시간 변화와 같은 변수 실험을 통해 안료슬러지에 대한 탈수율 평가하였다. 그 결과 열 탈수 시 압착공정에 의한 탈수율이 비압착공정에 비하여 약 20% 증가하였다. 압착공정이 있는 경우, 탈수시간을 70분과 80분으로 하여 수행한 결과 탈수시간이 80분으로 길게 하였을 때, 함수율 46.7wt%에서 43.9wt%로 감소하였고, 탈수속도는 $4.0DSkg/m^2{\cdot}hr$에서 $3.5DSkg/m^2{\cdot}hr$으로 감소한 것으로 분석되었다. 열 탈수는 케이크 층으로부터 액체의 배출을 원활이 할 수 있어 장치의 여과포 막힘 현상(Clogging)을 최소화 할 수 있음을 관찰하였다. 따라서 본 연구를 통해, 압착공정이 탈수율 향상에 효과적이며, 탈수시간이 80분으로 길게 할 경우, 저함수율 탈수 케이크를 생산할 수 있지만 탈수속도의 감소로 인한 생산량 저감을 초래할 수 있다. 즉 본 연구에서 개발한 열필터프레스 탈수장치를 안료와 같은 미세입자가 함유된 슬러지에 적용한다면 보다 효과적으로 탈수케이크를 생산 할 수 있을 것으로 분석된다.
