활동기록기($ActiWatch^{(R)}$$SleepWatch^{(R)}$) 성능 비교 연구:야간수면다원기록을 표준으로 한 수면변인을 중심으로 (Comparison of Actigraphic Performance between $ActiWatch^{(R)}$ and $SleepWatch^{(R)}$:Focused on Sleep Parameters Utilizing Nocturnal Polysomnography as the Standard)

  • 목 적:동일한 피험자에 동시 착용된 두 기종의 활동기록기에서 얻어진 수면 관련 변수들을 서로 비교하고 이를 수면다원검사 결과와 비교하여 이들 두 기종의 활동기록기에서 얻어지는 수면변수를 상호 교환하여 사용할 수 있는 지를 평가하고자 하였다. 방 법:초기 평가 시 내외과적 질환, 정신과적 질환 및 수면 장애가 발견되지 않은 자원자 14명(남:여=5:9, 연령 $28{\pm}4.6$세)을 대상으로 하였다. 서울대학교병원 수면검사실에서 두 가지 종류의 활동기록기를 동시에 착용한 상태에서 수면다원검사를 시행하였고, 이들 세 기기에서 산출된 수면 변수들을 각각 비교하였다. 결 과:$ActiWatch^{(R)}$$SleepWatch^{(R)}$의 수면 변수를 수면 다원검사 결과와 각각 비교한 결과, $ActiWatch^{(R)}$$SleepWatch^{(R)}$ 모두 총수면 시간을 과대평가(overestimate)하는 경향을 보였으며, $SleepWatch^{(R)}$는 입면 잠복기를 과소평가(underestimate)하는 경향을 보였다. 세 기기를 통해 측정된 각 수면변수 비교 결과, 수면효율은 유의한 차이를 보이지 않았으며, $SleepWatch^{(R)}$의 입면 잠복기를 제외한 모든 수면 변수에서 선형적인 관련성을 보였다. 두 활동기록기에서 나온 수면 변수들 사이에는 유의한 차이가 발견되지 않았으며, 이들 사이에도 유의한 선형적인 관계가 있었다. 결 론:두 기종의 활동기록기에서 얻어진 결과들 사이에 유의한 차이를 보이지 않아서, 두 기종들의 결과는 서로 교환해서 사용할 수 있을 것으로 판단한다. 일반적으로 활동기록기가 수면다원검사를 대체하기는 힘들 것으로 생각되지만, 입면잠복기를 제외한 나머지 수면변수가 선형적 관련성을 보이므로 수면다원검사 시행 후 간단하게 치료반응에 대한 추적 관찰을 해야 하는 경우에는 활동기록기가 사용될 수 있을 것으로 생각한다.

Usability Evaluation of Touch Keyboard in Smart Watch Environment

  • Objective: This study aims to identify the most effective keyboard layout in the area of performance for securing usability in a smart watch-using environment and to verify the usability of touch keyboard calibrated by hand. Background: It is necessary to understand the environmental characteristics in using the smart watch and to secure the usability of touch keyboard based on this understanding in order to take account of the users who use the touch screen in the extreme input conditions caused by the small screen of a smart watch. Method: 30 participants in this study were required to input characters using the QWERTY keyboard and 3x4 keypad (Naratgul, Chunjiin), which were familiar with them, in order to grasp the keyboard layout suitable in the smart watch- using environment; the performance (error rate, performance time) of this case was measured. In addition, 30 participants in this study were required to input the characters setting the QWERTY keyboard with calibrated touch area and the one with uncalibrated touch area, based on the characteristics of touch behavior, by finger typing the keyboard, with the performance (error rate and performance time) of this case measured. Results: QWERTY keyboard (93.3sec) is found to be 31.2% faster than Naratgul keyboard, a kind of 3x4 keypad, and 43.6% faster than Chunjiin keyboard, in the area of efficiency, in the results of the usability evaluation regarding the keyboard layout. QWERTY keyboard with calibrated touch area (7.5%) is found to be 23.5% improved compared to the QWERTY keyboard with uncalibrated touch area (9.8%) in the area of accuracy (error rate). The results of the usability evaluation regarding the QWERTY keyboard with touch area calibrated by finger typing the keyboard and QWERTY keyboard with calibrated touch area (80.7sec) is found to be 5.7% improved compared to QWERTY keyboard with uncalibrated touch area (85.6sec) in the area of efficiency (performance time). Conclusion: QWERTY keyboard is found to have an effective layout in the area of efficiency in the smart watch-using environment, and its improved usability is verified in the areas of accuracy and efficiency in the QWERTY keyboard with a touch area calibrated by finger typing the keyboard. Application: The results of this study may be used to set up the basic touch keyboard of the smart watch. The input usability is expected to secure the smart watch-using environment, which is an extreme input condition by applying QWERTY keyboard with touch area calibrated by finger typing the keyboard.

  • 인터넷의 확산으로 트위터와 같은 SNS가 확산되었고, 컴퓨터 처리 능력의 발달로 빅 데이터 처리가 가능해졌다. 본 연구에서는 현재 주목 받고 있는 기술인 스마트 워치에 대해 다루고 있으며 최근 출시되었던 삼성 갤럭시 기어 S2를 대상으로 연구를 진행하고 있다. 스마트 워치의 출시 전, 후에 게시되었던 트위터 데이터를 수집하여 실제 SNS 사용자들이 신제품 출시에 어떻게 반응하고 있으며 어떠한 다른 양상을 보이는지 분석한다. 분석을 통해 기업 실무자들에게 출시 전, 출시 후 각각에 마케팅에 대응하는 방법에 관한 가이드라인을 제공하며 본 연구에서 사용된 분석 프레임워크는 다른 분야 및 제품에서도 사용 가능한 연구 가이드라인이 된다.

세종 자격루의 경점보시 시스템의 복원 (ht-Watch Time-Annunciating Systems for the King Sejong's Striking Clepsydra)

  • King Sejong's Striking Clepsydra was an elaborate timekeeping and annunciating system incorporating biological automata capable of annunciating hours, intervals and night-watches based on Shou-shih calindrical systems automatically. In this paper the author has studied the original manuscripts on the Striking Clepsydra [Sejong sillock, 65: 1a-3b ff` 16th year, 7th month(1434)] from the technical point of view undertaking a close analysis of this monumental clock and aiming to our modern understanding of the full degree of delicate mechanisms and sophisticated controls built into the night-watch and division announcing clockwork(jackwork). Based on the input/output model, timekeeping, ball-rack, ball-relay, and audible time-indicating mechanisms were synthesized reconstructing night-watch annunciating systems. It revealed that the night-watch and division announcing processes were entirely renewed automatically. Historical and philological data concerning the improvements of the proposed model were discussed.

  • 최근 IOT(Internet of Things)환경에서 위치기반 서비스를 제공하기 위해 실내 위치인식 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있으며 실내 위치인식 기술은 주로 WiFi, 블루투스, RFID 등으로 구현되고 있다. 본 논문은 Arduino를 이용해 WiFi 측정 및 통신이 가능한 Smart Watch를 제작하였다. 실내위치 측위를 위해 WiFi Fingerprinting기법 Radiomap을 구축한 다음 Arduino Smart Watch에서 측정한 AP신호 값을 Radiomap과 비교하여 실내위치 측정 및 데이터 수집하였다. 향후 수집된 다수의 사용자 데이터를 군집도 분석하거나 실내공간에서의 IOT(Internet of Things)분야에 활용 가능 할 것으로 예상된다.

폭염특보 인지도와 기상특보 활용도 분석 ; 대학생들의 인지 (Analysis of the Perception of Extreme Heat Watch Warning and Usefulness of Special Weather Reports ; Focus on the Perception of University Students)

  • This paper aims to analyze the perception of university students for the extreme heat watch warning and suggest the usefulness of special weather reports. For this, we have made up a descriptive questionnaires including the perception, mass media, usefulness and satisfaction of special weather report. Using the SPSS 17.0 program, descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA and Scheffe test were used to analyze the collected data. The result are as follows; The perception of extreme heat watch warning was some low as 59.1 percentile, we think it needs education and public relations about the extreme heat watch warning. The usefulness of special weather report was 66.6 percentile and of girl students of university that was educated about health care was higher than one of boy students of university, it needs continuous education of these students in order to upgrade satisfaction of special report and mitigate the hazard of extreme heat according to climate change. The main media to get the meteorological information of university undergraduate students were TV and Internet, it needed education and development of new contents. From these findings, suggestions are presented to help improve the extreme heat watch warning.

유비쿼터스 센서 네트워크 기술을 활용한 무인감시체계 연구 (A study on unmanned watch system using ubiquitous sensor network technology)

  • "Ubiquitous sensor network" definition is this-Someone attaches electro-magnetic tag everything which needs communication between man to man, man to material and material to material(Ubiquitous). By using attached every electro-magnetic tag, someone detects it's native information as well as environmental information such as temperature, humidity, pollution and infiltration information(Sensor). someone connects it realtime network and manage generated information(Network). 21st century's war is joint combined operation connecting with ground, sea and air smoothly in digitalized war field, and is systematic war provided realtime information from sensor to shooter. So, it needs dramatic development on watch reconnaissance, command and control, pinpoint strike etc. Ubiquitous computing and network technologies are essential in national defense to operate 21st century style war. It is possible to use many parts such as USN combined smart dust and sensor network to protect friend unit as well as to watch enemy's deep area by unmanned reconnaissance, wearable computer upgrading soldier's operational ability and combat power dramatically, RFID which can be used material management as well as on time support. Especially, unmanned watch system using USN is core part to transit network centric military service and to get national defense efficiency which overcome the dilemma of national defense person resource reducing, and upgrade guard quality level, and improve combat power by normalizing guardian's bio rhythm. According to the test result of sensor network unmanned watch system, it needs more effort and time to stabilize because of low USN technology maturity and using maturity. In the future, USN unmanned watch system project must be decided the application scope such as application area and starting point by evaluating technology maturity and using maturity. And when you decide application scope, you must consider not only short period goal as cost reduction, soldier decrease and guard power upgrade but also long period goal as advanced defense ability strength. You must build basic infra in advance such as light cable network, frequency allocation and power facility etc. First of all, it must get budget guarantee and driving force for USN unmanned watch system project related to defense policy. You must forwarded the USN project assuming posses of operation skill as procedure, system, standard, training in advance. Operational skill posses is come from step by step application strategy such as test phase, introduction phase, spread phase, stabilization phase and also repeated test application taking example project.
