In this paper, we study on C-closed spaces, SC-closed spaces and related spaces. We show that a sequentially compact SC-closed space is sequential and as corollaries obtain that a sequentially compact space with unique sequential limits is sequential if and only if it is C-closed [7, 1.19 Proposition] and every sequentially compact SC-closed space is C-closed. We also show that a countably compact WAP and C-closed space is sequential and obtain that a countably compact (or compact or sequentially compact) WAP-space with unique sequential limits is sequential if and only if it is C-closed as a corollary. Finally we prove that a weakly discretely generated AP-space is C-closed. We then obtain that every countably compact (or compact or sequentially compact) weakly discretely generated AP-space is $Fr\acute{e}chet$-Urysohn with unique sequential limits, for weakly discretely generated AP-spaces, unique sequential limits ${\equiv}KC{\equiv}C-closed{\equiv}SC-closed$, and every continuous surjective function from a countably compact (or compact or sequentially compact) space onto a weakly discretely generated AP-space is closed as corollaries.

This paper aims to develop a system for converting web contents to mobile contents that can be used on mobile devices. Since web contents generally consist of pop-up ad windows, a bunch of unnecessary images and useless links, it is difficult to efficiently display them on common mobile devices that have lower bandwidth and memory, as well as much smaller screen, than the online environment. It is also troublesome for mobile device users to directly access contents. Thus, there has been a great demand for a new method for extracting useful and adequate contents from web documents, and optimizing them for use on mobile phones, In the paper, a system based on WAP 2,0 and XHTML Basic, which is a content creation language adopted for WAP 2,0, has been suggested. The system is designed to convert web contents by using the conversion rules of the existing filtering method after making the size of web documents smaller. The adopted conversion rules use the XHTML Basic's module units so that modification and deletion can be carried out with ease. In addition, it has been defined in a XSL document written in XSLT to maintain the extensibility of conversion and the validity of documents, In order to allow it to efficiently work together with WAP l.X's legacy services, the system has been built in a way that can have modules, which analyze information about CC/PP profiles and mobile device headers.

In this paper, we describe a design and implementation of the Wireless Markup Language(WML) compiler to deploy wireless Internet services effectively. The WML compiler translates textual WML decks into binary ones in order to reduce the traffic on wireless links that have relatively low bandwidth to wireline links and mitigate the processing overhead of WML decks on, wireless terminals that have relatively low processing power to fixed workstations. In addition, it takes over the overhead of eXtensible Markup Language(XML) well-formedness and validation processes. The WML compiler consists of the lexical analyzer and parser modules. The granunar for the WML parser module is LALR(1) context-free grammar that is designed based on XML 1.0 and WML 1.2 DTD(Document Type Definition) with the consideration of the Wireless Application Protocol Binary XML grammar. The grammar description is converted into a C program to parse that grammar by using parser generator. Even though the tags in WML will be extended or WML DTD will be upgraded, this approach has the advantage of flexibility because the program is generated by modifying just the changed parts. We have verified the functionality of the WML compiler by using a WML decompiler in the public domain and by using the Nokia WAP Toolkit as a WAP client. To measurethe compressibility gain of the WML compiler, we have tested a large number of textual WML decks and obtained a maximum 85 %. As the effect of compression is reduced when the portion of general textual strings increases relative to one of the tags and attributes in a WML deck, an extended encoding method might be needed for specific applications such as compiling of the WML decks to which the Hyper Text Markup Language document is translated dynamically.

A chimeric gene comprising murine whey acidic protein(mWAP) and human growth hormone(hGH) was used to produce transgenic rats express hGH and secrete it into the blood. Two lines of transgenic rats carrying the mWAP/hGH construct were established; High line was characterized by relatively high levels of serum hGH, and low line had relatively low levels. The secretory profiles of rat GH(rGH) as well as hGH, the transgene product, were obtained in transgenic males and females of low line; both hGH and rGH serum levels were flattened with no episodic fluctuations, and the overall mean concentration of rGH was significantly lower than in normal littermates. Although the animals of High line showed an acceles, as assessed by vaginal opening and occurrence of first ovulation, advanced by 7∼8 days in both lines of animals. Accordingly, the body weight at puberty of low line transgenic females was much lower than that of normal littermates, indicating that continuous hGH expression could induce precocious puberty without enhancing the growth rate.

The effects of continuous GH(hGH) secretion on the female reproduction was studies in adults female transgenic rats expressing the hGH gene with a mouse whey acid protein (mWAP) promotor. Two line of transgenic female rats carrying the mWAP/hGH gene were established and used in the study. One was characterized by relatively high levels of serum hGH (high line), and the other had relatively low levels (low line). 1. High line female rats had recurring, Pseudopregancy-like estrous cycles accompanied by increased serum progesterone level for 2 weeks after ovulation, and they were fertile. 2. In the rats, luteinization occurred spontaneously without cervical stimulation, probably due to high levels of serum hGH, which has prolactin (PRL)-like activity in the rat. 3. Low line female rats had recurring, regular 4-days estrous PRL surge following cervical stimulation were not, detected and PRL secretion was not induced by a dopamine antagonist. 4. The ovarian tissue in this line had a much higher number of corpora lutea and grew much heavier than in normal littermates, suggesting impairment of PRL induced structural luteolized. Su, pp.ession of PRL secretion in the low line rats was, at least in part, due to a marked decrease in the number of lactotrophs in the pituitary. The present study shows that the serum hGH level plays a crucial role in regulating luteal function in female transgenic rats expressing the hGH gene.

A wave prediction model of DP type with shallow water effects is presented. An intercom-parison study of the shallow water wave models has been made to verify applicability of this model which has source functions of Inoue, propagation scheme by Gadd and dissipation functions due to bottom friction. The energy distribution shows reasonable results and for the bottom friction JONS-WAP decay function seems to be more appropriate.

This paper describes technical method about remote control and monitoring of local system by use personal mobile device in anytime and anywhere. Therefore, the user don't need to stay in operation room of local system. The PC server environment for the mobile connection are constructed with Apache web server, PHP and MySQL ODBC. The mobile internet homepage for the remote mobile connection is designed by Anybuilder software and mobile simulator, Openwave SDK 6.2 is used for the development. The mobile internet program can be applicate to all of domestic communication companies LGT, SKT and KTF. We use KTF mobile contains WAP browser for the test. We used NI Labview software to control and monitoring of local system. The local system, which will be controlled remotely have constructed with analog/digital signal acquisition device, signal control board and their software. By experiments, we confirmed remote control by mobile device are possible.

In this paper describes for use Authentication with the WPKI and Kerberos protocol. this paper is the security structure that defined in a WAP forum and security and watches all kinds of password related technology related to the existing authentication system. It looks up weakness point on security with a problem on the design that uses wireless public key-based structure and transmission hierarchical security back of a WAP forum, and a server-client holds for user authentication of an application level all and all, and it provides one counterproposal. Therefore, We offer authentication way solution that connected X.509 with using WIM for complement an authentication protocol Kerberos and its disadvantages.

UP Link is One of the commercial product which converts HTML to HDML convertor in order to show the internet www contents in the mobile environments. When UP browser accesses HTML pages, the agent in the UP Link controls the converter to change the HTML to the HDML, I-Mode, which is developed by NTT-Docomo of Japan, has many contents through the long and stable commercial service. Micro Explorer, which is developed by Stinger project, also has many additional function. In this paper, we designed and implemented WAP convertor which can accept C-HTML contents and mHTML contents. C-HTML format by I-Mode is a subset of HTML format, mHTML format by ME is similar to C-HTML, So the content provides can easily develop C-HTML contents compared with WAP and the other case. Since C-HTML, mHTML and WML are used under the mobile environment, the limited transmission capacity of one page is also similar. In order to make a match table. After that, we apply conversion algorithm on it. If we can not find matched element, we arrange some tags which only can be supported by WML to display in the best shape. By the result, we can convert over 90% contents.
