산화억제제를 첨가한 탄소/탄소 복합재료의 물성에 관한 연구 : 7. 탄소/탄소 복합재료외 부착력과 파괴인성 (Influence of Oxidation Inhibitor on Carbon-Carbon Composites : 7. Studies on Work of Adhesion and Fracture Toughness of Carbon-Carbon Composites)

  • 본 연구에서는 일방향 탄소/탄소 복합재료에 산화억제제로 사용된 $MoSi_2$의 첨가량에 따른 복합재료의 부착력, 파괴인성 그리고 충격강도와의 관계를 고찰하였다. 산화억제제로 사용한 이규화 몰리브덴 (MoSi$_2$)은 복합재료의 내산화 특성을 향상시키기 위하여 각각 4, 12, 20wt%의 중량비로 페놀수지에 함침시켰다. 본 연구에 있어서 복합재료의 부착력은 접촉각 측정에 의한 Wilhelmy 방정식을 사용하여 계산하였다. 파괴인성과 충격강도는 임계 세기인자 측정을 위한 3점 굴곡 시험 방법과 Izod 충격시험에 의해 각각 측정하였다. 그 결과, $MoSi_2$가 첨가된 탄소/탄소 복합재료의 파괴인성과 충격강도는 증가하였다. 특허 l2wt%의 $MoSi_2$가 첨가된 복합재료가 London dispersive 요소($W_A\;^L$)의 증가에 의한 가장 큰 부착력을 나타내었으며, 이는 복합재료의 각 구성요소간의 계면결합력 증가에 따른 결과라 사료된다.

Investigation of Physicochemical Properties of Mo Carbide Utilizing Electron Spectroscopy

  • Molybdenum carbide (MoCx) thin films (TFs) were deposited by reactive radio frequency (rf) magnetron co-sputtering in high vacuum chamber. We compared the properties of MoCx thin films as the rf power changed on C target. The result of alpha step measurement showed that the thickness of the MoCx TFs varied from163.3 to 194.86 nm as C power was increased from 160 to 200 W. The crystallinity of MoCx such as b-Mo2C, Mo2C, and diamond like carbon (DLC) structures were observed by XRD. The oxidation states of Mo and C were determined using high resolution XPS spectra of Mo 3d and C 1s were deconvoluted. Molybdenum was consisted of Mo, Mo4+, and Mo6+ species. And C was deconvoluted to C-Mo, C, C-O, and C=O species.

  • To investigate the effect of Mo and Cu contents on tensile strength of cold drawn stainless steel 304H wires, metallographical and mechanical tests were performed for the wire specimens drawn to different drawing strains at room temperature. It was confirmed that the contents of Mo ana Cu have little influence on the tensile strength of drawn specimens, even though the strain induced martensite transformation decreased with increasing the contents of Mo and Cu. These results were explained by the strengthening of the formed martensite itself due to the solid solution effect of interstitial solutes, carbon and nitrogen. The contents of these elements were slightly higher in the specimens containing additionally added Mo and Cu.

Effect of C/Ti Atomic Ratio of TiCx Raw Powder on the Properties of Ti-Mo-W-TiC Sintered Hard Alloy

  • We have studied the effect of C/Ti atomic ratio of TiCx (x=0.5, 0.75 and 1.0) raw powder on the properties of the Ti-Mo-WTiC sintered hard alloy. The decrease of C/Ti atomic ratio accelerated the densification in the sintering process. The hardness was remarkably improved up to 1350HV with decreasing the C/Ti atomic ratio because of increase of TiCx phase volume content and its fine dispersion. From the results of electro-chemical tests in acid and 3% NaCl solutions, it was obvious that every alloy had excellent corrosion resistance, which meant about 200 times better than that of WC-Co cemented carbide.

  • 본 연구는 상이동 촉매를 이용하여 group 6 금속 카르보닐 착물($M(CO)_6$ [M=Cr, Mo, W])의 CO 리간드를 두자리 전자쌍 주게 리간드(L)인 2, 2'-bipyridine와 2, 2'-biquinoline에 의해서 치환된 $M(CO)_4(L)_2$를 생성할 때 반응 시간, 촉매의 첨가량, 리간드의 종류가 생성물의 수율에 미치는 영향을 관찰하였다.

Inulin의 산 가수분해 반응에 과산화수소가 미치는 영향 (Effect of Hydrogen Peroxide on the Acid Hydrolysis of Inulin)

  • 과산화수소는 유기물에 접촉시에 물과 산소로 급속하게 분해되어 탄수화물과 같은 고분자물질을 저 분자물질로 분해하는 특성을 지니고 였다. 이러한 특성이 inulin의 산 가수분해 반응에 미치는 영향을 초음파를 조사시키면서 연구하였다. 반응조건은 온도가 $50∼60^{\circ}C$ 엽산의 농도가 O.1~O.3%(w/w) 였고, 이 조건하에서 과산화수소 농도가 2.3% (w/v) 일 때 가수분해 효과가 최대로 나타났다. 과산화 수소의 첨가로 control 반응에 비해 9~43% 의 분 해속도 증가를 보였다. 과산화수소를 첨가했을 경우 와 첨가하지 않았을 경우에 활성화에너지는 각각 26kcal/mol과 25kcal/mol로 거의 통일하였다. 따라서 과산화수소에 의한 inulin 가수분해 속도의 상승 효과는 frequency factor의 증가로 해석되 었다.

The Sannae-Eonyang Granitic Rocks and Hydrothermal System, Southeastern Kyongsang Basin

  • The Sannae-Eonyang granitic rocks are a large fossil hydrothermal system containing the Sannae Mo-W fissure-vein type and the Eonyang amethyst deposits in the southeastern Kyongsang Basin. They evolved through similar stages showing the similarities in chemical and mineralogical compositions, fractionation trends and early magmatic fluids. Major, trace and rare earth element(REE) variations can be accounted for fractional crystallization combined with variable degrees of metasomatism. Based on the aqueous fluids exsolved directly from the crystallizing melt, the Sannae-Eonyang granitic rocks were emplaced at similar depth or pressure conditions. High temperature fluid interaction with the granitic rocks affects the elements such as K, Na, Rb, Ba, Sr, Eu, and heavy REE (HREE) mostly through feldspar re-equilibration. Although hydrothermal fluids produced partly positive Eu anomalies and HREE depletion in the granitic rocks at the Sannae Mo-W mine, the chemical concentrations defining fractionnation trends have survived the effects of alteration. Aqueous fluids exsolved from the crystallizing melt appears to be widespread, whereas fluids of moderate to low salinity and low-density with relatively high homogenization temperatures and $Co_2$-rich fluids appear to be mainly restricted and responsible for Mo-W and amethyst mineralization, respectively. Hydrothermal system of the Sannae-Eonyang granitic rocks represents repeated fluid events; from exsolution of aqueous fluids from the crystallizing melt, through fluid immiscibility and meteoric convection to later mineralization.
