In this paper, we investigate some results on complex delay-differential equations of the classical Malmquist theorem. A classic illustrations of their results states us that if a complex delay equation w(t + 1) + w(t - 1) = R(t, w) with R(t, w) rational in both arguments admits (concede) a transcendental meromorphic solution of finite order, then deg_wR(t, w) ≤ 2. Development and upgrade of such results are presented in this paper. In addition, Borel exceptional zeros and poles seem to appear in special situations.

In this note, we shed new light on Krull domains from the point view of Gorenstein homological algebra. By using the so-called w-operation, we show that an integral domain R is Krull if and only if for any nonzero proper w-ideal I, the Gorenstein global dimension of the w-factor ring (R/I)_w is zero. Further, we obtain that an integral domain R is Dedekind if and only if for any nonzero proper ideal I, the Gorenstein global dimension of the factor ring R/I is zero.

The inflence of hydrophilic vehicles on percutaneous absorption rate of griseofulvin was studied using intact skin of full thickness of hairless rat. The in vitro absorption rates were used as the characteristics for deciding the optimum formula of ointment vehicles. The optimum formula of vehicle compositions for maximum absorption rate was obtained from the polynomial regression equation and the two graphical techniques, contour graph and partial derivative graph. It was composed of sodium lauryl sulfate (1.65 W /W%), white petrolatum (16.5 W /W%), propylene glycol (12.0 W /W%), and stearyl alcohol (19.6W /W%). The experimental value obtained from the optimum formula and the prediction value were 33.99 and 33.87 ${\mu}g/\sqrt{min}$, respectively. From these results, it was believed that optimum formula for semisolid dosage forms could be obtained from the application of the optimization technique used in this study.

Let G be the general linear group GL(n,$\mathbb{C}$), $W_0$ the Weyl group of G and W the extended a neWeyl group of G. Then it is well-known that W is a union of the double cosets $W_{0x}W_0$ as x moves over the set of dominant weights of W. It is also known that each double coset $W_{0x}W_0$ contains a unique element $m_x$ of the shortest length. These shortest length elements belong to what are called the canonical left cells. However, it is still an open problem to find the canonical left cell containing a given $m_x$. One of the mai purposes of this paper is to introduce a new approach to attack this question. In particular, we will present a conjecture which explicitly describes the canonical left cells containing an element $m_x$. We will show that our conjecture is true for some specific types of $m_x$.

In this paper, we study the concepts of Wijsman lacunary invariant convergence, Wijsman lacunary invariant statistical convergence, Wijsman lacunary ${\mathcal{I}}_2$-invariant convergence (${\mathcal{I}}^{{\sigma}{\theta}}_{W_2}$), Wijsman lacunary ${\mathcal{I}}^*_2$-invariant convergence (${\mathcal{I}}^{\ast}^{{\sigma}{\theta}}_{W_2}$), Wijsman p-strongly lacunary invariant convergence ([W₂N_σθ]_p) of double sequence of sets and investigate the relationships among Wijsman lacunary invariant convergence, [W₂N_σθ]_p, ${\mathcal{I}}^{{\sigma}{\theta}}_{W_2}$ and ${\mathcal{I}}^{\ast}^{{\sigma}{\theta}}_{W_2}$. Also, we introduce the concepts of ${\mathcal{I}}^{{\sigma}{\theta}}_{W_2}$-Cauchy double sequence and ${\mathcal{I}}^{\ast}^{{\sigma}{\theta}}_{W_2}$-Cauchy double sequence of sets.

(Ti.W)C complex carbide was synthesized by self-propagating high temperature synthesis (SHS) chemical furnace. Attempt to find the optimal condition for synthesis of (Ti.W)C the effects of molar ratio of Ti:W:C on the synthesized powders and mechanical properties were investigated, Optimum molar ratio of these synthe-sized powder was Ti:W:C=0.7:0.2:1.0 The bulk density M,O.R Hardness Fracture toughness of (Ti.W)C complex carbide sintered at 200$0^{\circ}C$ for 60 min by hot-pressing under the pressure of 20 MPa were 7.6g/cm3, 475 MPa, 17,.7 GPa respectively.

광원별로 형광등 32W 3등을 사용한 터널과 고압나트륨 램프 100W를 사용한 터널, 그리고 저압나트륨 램프 36W와 91W를 혼용한 터널의 조도 및 휘도를 측정한 결과 조도 및 휘도의 균제도는 3 가지 광원이 모두 거의 일치하였으나, 평균 조도와 정균 휘도값에 있어서 저압나트륨 램프를 사용한 터널이 절반 수준이 되는 차이를 보였다. 또한 경제성 평가 도구인 WEELS를 이용하여 터널의 길이를 300[m], 터널 폭을 10.7[m]로 일정하게 하여 경제성을 평가한 결과, 연간 비용에 있어서 고압나트륨 100W가 비용이 가장 켰고, 그 다음이 형광등 32W 3등용, 그 다음이 저압나트륨(36W+91W)이었지만 그 값은 근소한 차이였다.

Various kinds of ship are operated to transport cargo or passengers at sea in the world. Most of the important auxiliary machineries installed in those ships are fluid machineries such as pumps, compressors, and fans. A large percentage of fluid machinery is pumps which are classified turbo and positive displacement pumps. This paper analyzes only positive displacement pumps. This thesis has two aims: (a) to analyze the present status of pumps installed in merchant and training ships and (b) to find the correlation among sea going pump kW, port pump kW, total pump kW, GE kW, ME MCR, number of pumps, ME kgf, pump kgf. Based on ship's type, this paper seeks to find special characteristics as a result of analyzing head, flow rate, and kW. Moreover this paper analyzes and compares number of pumps, pump kW/ME MCR, pump kW/GE kW under the conditions of seagoing and berthing according to ship's type.
