  • The maintenance and repair work of sidewalk block pavement is a construction that requires a large amount of budget to be invested every year. It is important to establish an appropriate standards for estimating construction cost to ensure proper budgeting and quality. In this study, the standards for estimating the cost of maintenance and construction work for sidewalk blocks that can be applied to the construction volume classified according to the site conditions, construction type, and equipment use differentiated from new construction was established. As a result, the daily construction volume was presented by reflecting excavator and truck as equipment in the combination of paver and common worker. The re-installation was applied by separating the construction volume of sections with general blocks and induction/raised blocks based on the installation of sidewalk blocks after demolition. Generally if block cutting is necessary, the precision construction conditions using a cutting machine were taken into consideration to secure the construction quality. In addition, it has been revised to apply classified construction volume into A and B-Type depending on the park and site conditions.

누락교통량자료 보정방법에서 강우의 영향 고려 (Considering of the Rainfall Effect in Missing Traffic Volume Data Imputation Method)

  • 교통량자료는 매우 다양한 분야에서 사용되는 기초자료이다. 교통량자료는 도로교통량조사를 통하여 수집되며, 도로교통량조사 중 기계식 장비를 사용하여 365일 24시간 지속적으로 수집되는 자료를 상시교통량자료라고 한다. 상시교통량자료는 장비의 오작동 및 여러 원인으로 교통량자료누락이 발생하는 경우가 있다. 누락된 교통량자료는 여러 누락보정방법을 적용하여 보정을 수행하고 있다. 하지만, 기존의 누락보정방법론들은 기상에 대한 영향을 전혀 고려하지 않은 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 기상 중 강우의 영향을 고려한 누락교통량자료 보정방법에 대한 연구를 수행하였다. 이를 위해 우선 일반국도에서 수집한 교통량자료와 기상청의 기상자료의 매칭을 수행하였으며, 이후 일반국도의 특성별로 군집분석 수행 및 분석대상지점 선정을 진행하였다. 세 가지 보정 기법들(평균대체법/자기회귀모형/EM 기법)을 사용하여 전체 자료에서 누락보정을 수행하는 것과 강우일의 자료만을 가지고 누락보정을 수행하여 보정값의 정확도를 평가하였다. 분석 결과 모든 보정방법 및 분석지점에서 과거 강우일의 교통량자료만을 가지고 보정한 경우가 더 정확한 보정값을 산출하는 것으로 분석되었다.

섬유의 종류, 형상 및 치환율에 따른 HPFRCC의 공학적 특성에 관한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study on the Engineering Properties of HPFRCC According to Kinds, Shapes and Volume Fraction of Fibers)

  • Kinds, shapes and fraction ratios of fibers have influence on properties of HPFRCC(High-Performance Fiver Reinforced Cementitious Concrete) like bending strength, strain capacity and fracture toughness. For example, hydrophilic fibers have different chemical bond strength from hydrophobic fibers, fiber shapes influence on fiber pull-out and rupture, and fiber volume fraction influence on bending strength. In this study, to estimate influences of kinds, shapes and fraction ratios of fibers, we make HFRCC with 3 kind of fiber in various volume fraction of fiber and compare cracking, bending strength and fracture toughness. As the results, bending strength of HPFRCC was increased as fiber volume fraction was increase and fiber tensile strength was increase, and strain capacity and fracture toughness of HFRCC was higher in fiber pull-out fracture than in fiber rupture fracture. And HFRCC showing pseudo strain hardening has higher fiber reinforce efficiency than others.

The inertial coefficient for fluctuating flow through a dominant opening in a building

  • For a building with a dominant windward wall opening, the wind-induced internal pressure response can be described by a second-order non-linear differential equation. However, there are two ill-defined parameters in the governing equation: the inertial coefficient $C_I$ and the loss coefficient $C_L$. Lack of knowledge of these two parameters restricts the practical use of the governing equation. This study was primarily focused on finding an accurate reference value for $C_I$, and the paper presents a systematic investigation of the factors influencing the inertial coefficient for a wind-tunnel model building including: opening configuration and location, wind speed and direction, approaching flow turbulence, the model material, and the installation method. A numerical model was used to simulate the volume deformation under internal pressure, and to predict the bulk modulus of an experimental model. In considering the structural flexibility, an alternative approach was proposed to ensure accurate internal volume distortions, so that similarity of internal pressure responses between model-scale and full-scale building was maintained. The research showed 0.8 to be a reasonable standard value for the inertial coefficient.

Full Polarimetric SAR Decomposition Analysis of Landslide-affected Areas in Mocoa, Colombia

  • SAR (Synthetic Aperture Radar) is an effective tool for monitoring areas damaged by disasters. Full PolSAR (Polarimetric SAR) enhances SAR's capabilities by providing specific scattering mechanisms. Thus, full PolSAR data have been widely used to analyze the situation when disasters occur. To interpret full PolSAR data, model-based decomposition methods are frequently used due to its easy physical interpretation of PolSAR data and computational efficiency. However, these methods present problems. One of the key problems is the overestimation of the volume scattering component. To minimize the volume scattering component, the OA (Orientation Angle) compensation method is widely utilized. This paper shows that the effect of the OA compensation was analyzed over landslide affected areas. In this paper, the OA compensation is applied by using the OA estimated from the maximum relative Hellinger distance. We conducted an experiment using two full polarimetric ALOS/PALSAR (Advanced Land Observing Satellite/Phased Array type L-band Synthetic Aperture Radar)-2 data collected over Mocoa, Colombia which was seriously damaged by the 2017 Mocoa landslide. After OA compensation, the experimental results showed volume scattering power decreased, while the double-bounce and surface scattering power increased. Particularly, significant changes were noted in urban areas. In addition, after OA compensation, the separability of the double-bounce and surface scattering components are improved over the damaged building areas. Furthermore, changes in the OA can discriminate visually between the damaged building areas and undamaged areas. In conclusion, we demonstrated that the effect of OA compensation improved the influence of the double-bounce and surface scattering components, and OA changes can be useful for detecting damaged building areas.

다공성 원료를 사용한 수열합성 패널의 흡습 특성 (Hygroscopic Characteristic of Hydrothermal Reacted Panels Using Porous Materials)

  • Diatomite, bentonite and zeolite were used as porous materials for fabricating hygroscopic panels. Moisture adsorption and desorption of porous materials were investigated and hydrothermal method was applied to fabricate panels. Cheolwon diatomite and Pohang zeolite showed excellent characteristics of moisture adsorption and desorption. These characteristics were caused by higher surface area and pore volume of porous materials. Correlation coefficient between surface area and moisture adsorption content of porous materials was 0.93. Moisture adsorption contents were influenced by surface area and pore volume of panels, and surface area more effected on moisture adsorption. Correlation coefficient between surface area and moisture adsorption content of panels was 0.86. Moisture adsorption content of panel with 10% Pohang zeolite was $180\;g/m^2$ and that of 10% Cheolwon diatomite was $170\;g/m^2$. Moisture desorption content of panel with 10% Pohang zeolite was $105\;g/m^2$. Moisture adsorption contents of panel with porous materials were higher than that of panel without porous materials.

AVC 장비의 센서고장 상황에 따른 교통량·통행 속도 산출 방법 (Traffic Volume and Vehicle Speed Calculation Method for type of Sensor Failure of Automatic Vehicle Classification Equipment)

  • 현재 AVC 장비의 운영방법은 하나의 센서가 고장 나면 해당 차로의 교통량 속도 차량 종류에 대한 모든 정보의 생성을 중단하고 있다. 현재의 운영방법은 정상 센서에서 수집한 자료들을 활용하지 않는다는 비효율이 존재한다. 본 연구는 이런 비효율을 개선하기 위하여 일부 센서가 고장 난 AVC (Automatic Vehicle Classification)장비에서 교통량과 속도의 산출 방법에 대하여 연구를 진행하였다. 센서의 고장유형을 총 4가지로 분류하였으며, 각 고장유형별로 교통량과 속도를 산출하고 이에 대한 정확도분석을 수행하였다. 그 결과 교통량은 정확도가 매우 높은 값(정확도: 100%, 98%, 97%)으로 산출이 가능하였으며, 속도의 경우 충분히 받아들일 만한 수준의 속도 값(RMSE 값 16.9 이하)이 산출되는 것을 확인하였다. 따라서 본 연구에서 제시한 방법론들을 사용하면 AVC 장비의 운영 효율을 증가 시킬 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

강섬유의 형상, 길이 및 혼입율에 따른 고성능 섬유보강 시멘트 복합체의 휨 특성 평가 (Evaluation of flexural performance of high performance fiber reinforced cementitious composites according to fiber shape, aspect ratio and volume fraction)

  • 고성능 섬유보강 시멘트 복합체(High-Performance Fiber-Reinforced Cement Composites, HPFRCC)는 내구성 및 연성이 우수할 뿐만 아니라, 강도발현이 뛰어나 구조부재 적용 시 단면을 상당히 감소시켜 자중을 줄일 수 있는 재료로 관심을 받고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 HPFRCC에 사용 가능한 다양한 강섬유 종류 및 강섬유의 특성에 따라 휨 실험을 수행하였으며, 휨 성능 분석을 통해 효율적인 섬유보강 방법을 모색하여 경제성을 향상시키고자 하였다. 따라서 보다 효율적인 섬유보강 방법을 찾기 위해 기존길이 13 mm 보다 긴 강섬유를 소성 변형시킨 갈고리형 강섬유, 비틀림 강섬유를 사용하여 섬유의 모양(shape), 형상비(aspect ratio) 혼입율에 대한 휨 특성을 평가하고 분석하고자 하였다. 실험결과 HPFRCC에 일자형태를 가지는 길이 19.5 mm의 강섬유를 1.5%만큼 혼입할 경우 기존에 많이 사용되고 있는 길이 13 mm의 일자형 강섬유를 2.0% 혼입하였을 때 보다 뛰어난 휨 성능을 나타내었다. 따라서 섬유량을 줄여줄 수 있기 때문에 보다 경제성이 우수한 강섬유 보강 HPFRCC를 제조할 수 있을 것으로 판단되었다.

플라이애쉬를 다량 사용한 시멘트 경화체의 강도증진에 관한 실험적연구 (A Study on Strength of Cement Mortar with Micro Grinding High Volume Fly-Ash)

  • The purpose of this study is for the active use of the fly ash, which is a by-product of the combustion pulverizes coal thermal power plants, to compensate for the lack of landfill and for conservation of energy, by using fly ash as the supplementary cementitious material, and to prove its possibility as the related products of the cement. First of all, the ordinary fly ash is grinded in a special method and its fineness is controlled from 6000$\textrm{cm}^2$/g to 8000$\textrm{cm}^2$/g, then replaced it with the 10% to 80% of the cement mortar in order to test physics characteristics. The first experiment conducts on the strength development in fly ash replacing content and fineness. and the changes of the flow values, incorporating fly ash into cement. The second one is about the slow development of the strength of the fly ash mortar in early ages, and improves its strength with the activator $Na_{2}SO_{4}$, using high volume fly ash.

석탄회 종류에 따른 석탄회를 대량 사용한 콘크리트의 내구특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Durabilities of High Volume Coal Ash Concrete by the Kinds of Coal Ash)

  • Coal ash is a by-product of the combustion of pulverized coal, and much of this is dumped in landfills. The disposal of coal ash is one of the major issues for environmental problems. In this paper, the effects of the kinds and replacement ratio of coal ash on the durabilities of concrete mixtures are investigated. Fine aggregate was replaced with coal ash(fly ash and bottom ash) in five different ratios, of 0%, 10%, 20%, 35%, and 50% by volume. Test results indicated that the compressive strength increased with the increase in fly ash percentage. The loss of compressive strength of bottom ash concrete mixes after immersion in sulphuric acid solution was less than in the control mix(BA0). In addition, the carbonation depth of fly ash concrete mixes was lower than the control mix(FA0).
