The purpose of this study is to investigate the recognition of the professionalism required for strengthening the effective career guidance capacity of the secondary career teachers who are required to prepare for the coming fourth industrial revolution era. Based on these research objectives, we derived the required roles(8), the required competencies(20), and the contents(23) for enhancing professionalism by the required competencies, based on this, the questionnaire was composed and 217 respondents were collected and analyzed. First, the t-test was conducted to confirm the statistically significant difference between the current level and the important level of each content item by each role. As a result, it was found that in all roles except role of 'administrator' The t-value is statistically significant and the t-value distribution is high. Second, the demand value calculation and the priority ranking using the Borich demand calculation formula were found, and as a result, the directionality between the t value and the Borich demand was in agreement. Third, as a result of prioritizing using the Locus for Focus model, the contents of all 5 (middle school 7, high school 2) education contents were given priority. Fourth, three middle schools and five high schools were derived from the subordinate. Finally, we confirmed the relevance of the contents of education to actual educational necessity. Although this study has many limitations and limitations due to the fact that there are few prior data due to the segmentation of the subject related to the 4th Industrial Revolution and career guidance, it is necessary to develop educational training program I hope to be able to use it as basic data of various follow-up studies and make some suggestions.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of major satisfaction, career decision efficacy and career attitude maturity of engineering college students to the career decision level. A total of 432 engineering students(male=339, female=96) completed major satisfaction, career decision efficacy, career attitude maturity and career decision level tests. The analysis showed the following findings. First, there are significant correlations among major satisfaction, career decision efficacy, career attitude maturity, and the career decision level. Second, the major satisfaction explained 2% of engineering college students' the career decision level. The career decision efficacy explained 21% of engineering college students' the career decision level. And the career attitude maturity explained 53% of engineering college students' the career decision level. The results of the study suggested that when career guidance and counseling program for the engineering college students, it is important to consider the factors to improve career self-efficacy and career attitude maturity.
This study is to find out the type of relation existed for the career compromise of university students with respect to the career related variables. For this purpose, a questionnaire survey has been implemented for 278 University students in order to measure the level of career compromise, career decision-making self-efficacy, career outcome expectations, workhope, career motivation, and occupational engagement behavior. The data analysis facilitated SPSS 22.0 to administer reliability analysis, basic statistical analysis, correlation analysis, and regression analysis. The result of this study is shown as follows. First, career decision-making self-efficacy, career outcome expectations and workhope are all shown to influence on career compromise, and the greater the relative influence of workhope. As a result of detailed look, career compromise has shown the influence, and career compromise has shown the influence, on the occupational engagement behavior. Therefore, university students in Korea confirmed that career compromise is negatively affecting career-related factors. Based on the research findings, it is meaningful to note that it is necessary to help university students effectively cope with the situation of the career compromise in a career guidance and consultation scene.
The purpose of this study is 1) to survey to identify how high school students think about career guidance and job and 2) to pursue effective career guidance. According to the survey result, first, most students have thought about their career. They chose friends as a counselor for their future. Among respondents, 39.84% of them said they did not consult with teachers. They said academic record is a stumbling block in choosing career. Second, many students responded career guidance should start at 'Junior High school'. 76.56% of respondents said they were lack of career guidance resources. With respect to career, an important subject was shown as the following order: social study, English, Korean, Science and Math. Third, students recognized the face that aptitude and ability should be the utmost important factors in choosing career. They chose mass media as a main source to gain information relative to career, which accounted for 52.34% and 20.31% for teachers. In the case of students who have rather 'poor'home background, teachers were the main sources for career information, whose proportion was relatively high. Forth, parents were the most influential people who helped students choose which high school to go(40.69%). In terms of scope of higher education, 65.63% said they wanted to graduate university. Students who has good academic records and good home environment wanted to pursue Master's or Doctor's degrees. 70.31% of respondents said they attended a high school just because they wanted to have a desired job.
The purpose of this study is to investigate factors affecting dropout intention based on education satisfaction survey analysis of local J university. Total 7,248 survey data which has high trustability were analyzed. Analysis of variance was performed to verify differences between each grade and credits level. There are significant differences between the year grade and credit level. Especially the result show that the satisfaction of freshman is higher than the other grade students. To verify relation between intention to dropout and satisfaction of university education logistic regression analysis method has been applied and satisfaction of academic guidance, vocational guidance, environment of education and self-satisfaction of university life are significantly related to the dropout intention. The most important variable is self-satisfaction of university life which determine dropout intention through decision tree analysis.

Korean society believes that graduating from university is essential but even though choosing a career is important because of this social phenomenon, teenagers or the younger generation lack many aspects to choose or take responsibility of their career. Therefore, they are affected by others and this study explores how university students' career identity affects their self-career control and major satisfaction. The subjects of this research were 300 students of M college ranging from freshmen to juniors. The research period was 2015.09.30~10.07. Among the study results, the results of career identity affecting self-career control are career environment setting 18%, career commitment will 27%, planning and examining 18%, career feedback 12%, positive thinking 22% and study shows that career commitment will has a large impact on career identity. Second, the results of how career identity affects major satisfaction revealed that recognition satisfaction, relation satisfaction, and normal satisfaction have a large influence on career decision. This analysis result concludes that a college student's career identity lowers the conflict of choosing a major or job and with a higher satisfaction of their major, can obtain self-confidence of choosing a job, searching for a job, and setting a life goal. Therefore, in order to raise career identity, colleges need to research and develop career guidance programs and career counseling.

Today the educational authorities selected 38 Meister High Schools which are based on industry demand out of 691 high schools nationwide to make the vocational high schools do their original purposes and to innovate vocation education. The purposes of this study are to analyze the relationship between the school environment and career maturity and the school adjustment resilience and, based on the results, to suggest improvement plans to improve business environment for the maritime Meister High Schools. To analyze the influence of the school environment and students' career maturity on their school adjustment resilience, the researcher used the teachers's professionalism, school facilities, students' entrance motivation, career guidance depending on the individual and the school meal quality as the school environment factors of the independent factors. As dependent factors, the researcher selected school environment, teachers, class preparation of the individual, level of school life such as an attitude level and school rule observance, and peer relation.
Chonnam National University Medical School has designed and implemented two career planning programs: a three-phase curriculum-based program and a longitudinal non-curricular program over the course of 6 academic years. The three phases of the curriculum-based career planning program are self-assessment, career exploration, and field experience. The non-curricular career counseling program operates through a faculty advisor system, with each faculty member guiding a group of students from each academic year, and students in each year forming a mentor-mentee relationship. The non-curricular career exploration program consists of a student research support program, an international practice program in basic and clinical medicine, and a specialty exploration fair. A survey conducted among 38 graduates (54.3%) working as interns at Chonnam National University Hospital revealed that graduates preferred autonomous elective subjects within the curriculum-based program. They also responded positively to the faculty advisor system, through which they maintained close relationships. A focus group interview with three interns indicated that subjects providing direct experience in fields of interest and courses that students could choose freely were helpful in career decisions. Through follow-up research, it is necessary to design and operate a systematic career planning program based on an analysis of the needs of graduates taking part in a residency training program after selecting a medical specialty.

The purpose of this study is making the career education program related to the subject, Manual Training and Home Economics, to present the effective guidance and to improve career maturity of students about the unit, "Making a choice of career and Job ethics" of middle school senior's course. In order to estimate this program, 60 students of 2 classes were chosen as research subjects among middle school seniors and each of classes was divided into two groups, an experimental group and a control group. After the experimental group was trained the career education program related to Manual Training and Home Economics for 15 sessions, the effect was verified by comparing tests before and after program execution. In order to prove effects of the program. Each grade of both the experimental group and the control group was taken analysis of covariance (ANCOVA). Result of the program experiment is following. First, after executing the career education program related to Manual Training and Home Economics to the experimental group, participants showed that both attitude and ability for career maturity were improved in each sub-factor field of the career maturity as a result of tests before and after program execution. Second, in program satisfaction estimation, most of students had a positive attitude and in every time satisfaction, they made high estimation on the program, especially including the proper level of students and interesting activities. Finally, the final program was completed based on the result of effect analysis of the program.
The purpose of this study is to clarify the relationship between coaching and self-esteem, career decision-making self-efficacy, and career preparation behavior through field experiments. To accomplish the purpose of the study, as the purposeful sampling was selected 50 male university students in Chungnam, South Korea. This experimental design, 25 university students were assigned to an experimental group, and another 25 university students were assigned to a control group. The experimental group had four sessions of coaching program. The control group did not have any coaching sessions. After four coaching sessions, questionnaires were administrated again. To conduct ANCOVA, pre-measurement scores for each dependent variable were included as covariates and post-measurement scores were included as dependent variables. The result proved the effect of coaching on self-esteem, career decision-making self-efficacy, and career preparation behavior. As the results of analysis, for control group, there was no difference between before and after measurement for each dependent variable. However, there was statistically significant difference between before and after measurement for each dependent variable in experimental group. This result confirmed that coaching caused increase in the level of self-esteem, career decision-making self-efficacy, and career preparation behavior. The result like this has a significance to be able to be used as a basic data that used efficiently in the field of career guidance and HRD for university student.
