The purpose of the study is to clarify red image in the modem fashion. 40 kinds of costume samples being visual power in red have been selected from photographs in fashion magazines and divided into tones: pale (Vp, Lgr, L), bright (P, B), vivid (S, B, Dp), dark (Gr, Dl, Dgr, Dk). The study was measured by using Semantic Differential method. The subjects were 50 students majoring in clothing and textile. The data were analyzed by factor analysis, ANOVA, discrimminant analysis, MDS and regression analysis. The results of analysis are as follow; 1. Factor analysis has extracted 5 factors of red image in the fashion. These factor are Attractiveness, Hardness and Softness, Emotion, Attention, Simplicity. 2. There were significant difference in visual evaluation of red tones. 3. The discrimination among 4 red tones was related to attention and weight of red. 4. Evaluative dimensions of red was classified as Soft-Hard, Lively-Decent. 5. The image effect on Preference, Buying needs, Pleasant and Riches was consist of complicated sensibility.
The accurate error size and discrimination region in the perception of depth amount from 3- dimensional images by the human visual system will be the basic data for the utilization and application of the binocular 3 - Dimensional image system. This paper is focused on studying the accuracy of the depth amount perceived from 3-dimensional images by the human visual system. From the performed experiment, the following results have been obtained: (1) The depth amount perceived from the binocular 3-dimensional images has been displayed by a proper scale of distance, and found to be imprecise and also have a large variance. (2) In utilizing the binocular 3-dimensional image system, it seems more appropriate to make the images viewed outward rather than inward from the screen in the regard of error and variance. (3) The binocular 3- dimensional image system can be effectively applied to displaying unreal space, for example, the layout of room in design, from the viewpoint of perception characteristics of depth amount.

So kinds of costume sample being visual power in orange have been selected from photographs in fashion magazines and divided into the tones : mist(Vp, Lgr, L), bright(P, B), vivid(S, V, Dp). The study was measured by using 27 semantic differential hi-polar scales. The subjects were 50 female students majoring in clothing and textiles, The data was analyzed using the statistical SPSS package. The data were collected using self-administred questionnaires and analyzed by Cronbach $\alpha$, Factor analysis, MDS, ANOVA Sheff test and Regression analysis. The major findings of this research were as follows. 1. Factor analysis has extracted 4 factors of orange image in the fashion. These factor are Attractiveness, Audacity, Hardness and Softness, Cuteness. 2. There were significant difference in visual evaluation of tones. 3. The discrimination among tones was related to cuteness and weight of orange. 4. The image effect on Preference, Buying needs, Pleasant and Riches was consist of complicated sensibility.
Considering the high dimensions of video sequences, it is often challenging to acquire a sufficient dataset to train the tracking models. From this perspective, we propose to revisit the idea of hand-crafted feature learning to avoid such a requirement from a dataset. The proposed tracking approach is composed of two phases, detection and tracking, according to how severely the appearance of a target changes. The detection phase addresses severe and rapid variations by learning a new appearance model that classifies the pixels into foreground (or target) and background. We further combine the raw pixel features of the color intensity and spatial location with convolutional feature activations for robust target representation. The tracking phase tracks a target by searching for frame regions where the best pixel-level agreement to the model learned from the detection phase is achieved. Our two-phase approach results in efficient and accurate tracking, outperforming recent methods in various challenging cases of target appearance changes.

The method of direct mass spectrometry profiling is reliable and reproducible for the rapid identification of clinical isolates of bacteria and fungi. This is the first study evaluating the approach of MALDI-TOF mass spectrometry profiling for rapid identification of carbapenemase-resistant enterobacteriaceae (CRE). Proof of concept was achieved by the discrimination of CRE using MALDI Biotyper MS based on the protein. This profiling appears promising by the visual observation of consistent unique peaks, albeit low intensity, that could be picked up from the mean spectra (MSP) method. The Biotyper MSP creation and identification methods needed to be optimized to provide significantly improved differences in scores to allow for subspecies identification with and without carbapenemases. These spectra were subjected to visual peak picking and in all cases; there were pertinent differences in the presence or absence of potential biomarker peaks to differentiate isolates. We also evaluated this method for potential discrimination between different carbapenemases bacteria, utilizing the same strategy. Based on our data and pending further investigation in other CREs, MALDI-TOF MS has potential as a diagnostic tool for the rapid identification of even closely related carbapenemases but would require a paradigm shift in which Biotyper suppliers enable more flexible software control of mass spectral profiling methods.
The objective of this study is to extract information from electroencephalogram(EEG) signals with which we can discriminate mental states. Seven university students were participated in this study. Ten stimuli based on IAPS (International Affective Picture Systems) Were presented at random according to the experimental schedule. 8-channel ($O_1$, $O_2$, $F_3$, $F_4$, $F_7$, $F_8$, $FP_1$, and $FP_2$)EEG signals were recorded at a sampling rate of 204.8 Hz for visual stimuli and analyzed. After random ten sequential stimuli presentation, the subject subjectively assessed the stimulus by scaling from -5 to 5. If the stimulus was the best and the worst, it was scored 5 and -5, respectively. Only maximum and minimum scored-EEG signals within each subject were selected on the basis of subjectively assessment for analysis. EEG signals were transformed into feature objects based on scalar autoregressive model coefficients. They were classified with Discriminant Analysis for each channel. The features produced results with the best classification accuracy of 85.7 % in $O_1$ and $O_2$ for visual stimuli. This study could be extended to establish an algorithm which quantify and classify emotions evoked by visual stimulus using autoregressive models.

Textile quality management targets the physical properties of fabrics and the subjective discriminations of color and fitting. Color is the most representative quality factor that consumers can use to evaluate quality levels without any instruments. For this reason, quantification using a color discrimination device has been used for statistical quality management in the textile industry. However, small and medium-sized domestic textile manufacturers use only visual inspection for color discrimination. As a result, color discrimination is different based on the inspectors' individual tendencies and work procedures. In this research, we want to develop a textile industry-friendly quality management method, evaluating the possibility of rapid color discrimination using a digital imaging device, which is one of the office-automation instruments. The results show that an imaging process-based color discrimination method is highly correlated with conventional color discrimination instruments ($R^2=0.969$), and is also applicable to field discrimination of the manufacturing process, or for different lots. Moreover, it is possible to recognize quality management factors by analyzing color components, ${\Delta}L$, ${\Delta}a$, ${\Delta}b$. We hope that our rapid discrimination method will be a substitute technique for conventional color discrimination instruments via elaboration and optimization.
The subjective experience would degrade the current artificial artistic aesthetic analysis. Since Qiong kiln ceramics have a long history and occupy a very important position in ceramic arts, we employed computer-aided technologies to quickly automatically accurately and quantitatively process a large number of Qiong kiln ceramic images and generate the detailed statistical data. Because the color features are simple and significant visual characteristics, the color features of Qiong kiln ceramics are analyzed for the quantitative aesthetics. The Qiong kiln ceramic images are segmented with GrabCut algorithm. Three moments (1st-order, 2nd-order, and 3rd-order) are calculated in two typical color spaces, namely RGB and HSV. The discrimination powers of the color features are analyzed according to various dynasties (Tang Dynasty, Five Dynasties, Song Dynasty) and various utensils (Pot, kettle, bowl), which are helpful to the selection of the discriminant color features among various dynasties and utensils. This paper is helpful to promoting the quantitative aesthetic research of Qiong kiln ceramics and is also conducive to the research on the aesthetics of other ceramics.
