Case Studies and Derivation of Course Profile in accordance with NCS-based Video Graphics Job

  • This study analyzed with the case analysis of a series of processes from job analysis survey. And results analysis, and academic achievement in order to transform the curriculum of existing courses into the curriculum of NCS-based courses. Also this study analysed of the existing curriculum. Also analyzed the trend of workforce trends and needs of the broadcasting content industry. Through a needs analysis for the industry and alumni and students, video graphics, video editing and video directing were selected. In this paper, it dealt mainly with respect to the video graphics in a dual job. Modeling capability into the unit through a job analysis, animation, effects and lighting were chosen accordingly based introduction of 3D Graphics. Application of 3D Graphics were derived two courses and selected profiles and performance criteria. This training according to the NCS curriculum for students was evaluated based on the student's job was to investigate the learning ability. Academic achievement were the result satisfaction.

Relationships between the Attitude toward Video Games and Use of the Video Game Rating System in Global Markets

  • As video games gain popularity and become a normal part of home entertainment, concern about youth access to inappropriate games continues to grow. Some people have claimed that violent video games influence children's aggressive behavior and that violent video games have some responsibility for violence in the school. In response to people's concerns, the video game industry created a video game rating system in 1995 to help parents decide which video games are appropriate for their children. This study investigated whether parents were aware of the video game rating system and how often they have used it when selecting video games for their children. This study attempted to find relationships among parents' attitudes toward video games, their guidance styles for their children's video game play, and their use of the video game rating system. This study found that most parents have used the video game ratings very frequently when they select video games for their children. But many parents still don't understand the video game rating system. This study showed that parents who had more negative attitudes or less positive attitudes toward video games were more likely to impose restrictions on their children's video game play and to use the video game rating system as a means to restrict their children's access to violent video games.

기술혁신 관점에서 비디오 게임 산업의 세대구분 (From the Viewpoint of Technological Innovation, Generation Classification of the Video Game Industry)

  • 오늘날 비약적인 IT산업의 발달과 문화산업의 성장으로 게임 산업이 중요한 산업으로 자리 잡고 있다. 특히 비디오 게임기 분야는 다양한 발전과 기술개발로 시장을 형성해 오고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 기술혁신 관점에서 기술특성에 따라 비디오게임의 세대구분을 하고자 한다. 본 연구에서는 ATARI, Nintendo, SONY, SEGA, MicroSoft의 제품을 사례연구 대상으로 선정하였다. ATARI 출시부터 2017년까지 출시된 비디오 게임기를 연구대상으로 조사하였고, 기술동향분석을 통하여 세대구분을 하였다. 세대별 특징으로는 1세대는 Nintendo에 의한 시장선점으로 인한 충성고객의 확보, 2세대는 기존의 카트리지 방식이 아닌 광학 디스크를 사용한 SONY의 기술적 기능과 성능의 우수성, 3세대는 SONY와 Nintendo의 획기적인 기기요소와 기능들을 추가하였으며, 가격전략 및 전반적인 높은 스펙이 주요 특징으로 나타났다. 4세대는 SONY와 MicroSoft의 높은 성능과 네트워크를 이용한 정책이 주요 특징으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과는 향후 비디오 게임기 산업의 기술 전략 수립에 도움이 될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

  • The purpose of this paper is to shed light on the development timeline of video gaming in Vietnam. This paper would examine how Southeast Asia has become a key component in constructing the facade of the global gaming industry, focusing on Vietnam. As a communist country, Vietnam showed a distinctive pattern of video gaming reception. Video gaming has become a popular amusement among Vietnamese youth and has also helped Vietnam integrate into the modern world after the Vietnam War.

  • With the emergence of digitalization and environmental changes, such as those caused by COVID-19 and high-speed networks, online video platforms have changed how people communicate and created new marketing opportunities. The unique characteristics of mobile short-form videos are causing more people to consume and produce diverse content in the digital environment. The study focuses on two story types (product essential and relative information) to examine the effectiveness of short-form videos for fashion marketing. This study verified the influence of the common traits of short-form video content (informativeness, expertise, familiarity, and playfulness) on fun, e-WOM, and purchase intention and the mediation effect of fun using video samples categorized by story type. In this study, 300 Gen Z men and women responded to a survey after watching a 30-second short-form video sample. All the traits of short-form video content were found to have a positive effect on fun. Moreover, all the traits excluding playfulness had a positive effect on e-WOM and purchase intention as well. Fun had a positive effect on both e-WOM and purchase intention as well as a partial mediating effect. These findings are expected to provide insight and reference for planning short-form video marketing from the perspective of the fashion industry.

  • This paper presents the interior space information using 6D-360 degree immersive media video information. And we implement the augmented reality, which includes a variety of information such as position information, movement information of the specific location in the interior space GPS signal does not reach the position information. Augmented reality containing the 6D-360 degree immersive media video information provides the position information and the three dimensional space image information to identify the exact location of a user in an interior space of a moving object as well as a fixed interior space. This paper constitutes a three dimensional image database based on the 6D-360 degree immersive media video information and provides augmented reality service. Therefore, to map the various information to 6D-360 degree immersive media video information, the user can check the plant in the same environment as the actual. It suggests the augmented reality service for the emergency escape and repair to the passengers and employees.

가상현실을 이용한 영상산업 활용에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Utilization of Video Industry Using Virtual Reality)

  • 가상현실 기술은 인간이 현실세계에서 경험하는 것과 유사한 상호작용 행위를 가상의 공간을 통하여 체험할 수 있게 하는 기술이다. 가상현실 기술을 이용하여 3차인 가상공간에 참여한 사용자는 시간적 공간적 제약에 구애받지 않고 원하는 공간에서 다양한 경험을 할 수 있어서 영상산업, 오락, 시뮬레이션, 의료, 건축 및 설계분야 등 수많은 응용분야에서 그 기술이 활용되고 있다. 그 중 영상분야는 고 부가가치 산업으로 가장 각광을 받고 있는 분야라 할 수 있다. 이와 관련하여 본고에서는 영상산업의 영화, 방송, 광고, 인터넷 등 4가지로 분류하여 각각의 특징 및 적용사례와 발전 가능성을 관하여 살펴보고자 한다. 영상산업에서 가상현실 기술을 이용한 산업을 보면, 영화분야에서는 가상현실 기술을 이용하여 특수효과에 제작되고 있으며, 방송분야에서는 가상 스튜디오와 가상 캐릭터 도입으로 시청자에게 다양한 그래픽 가상세계를 제공하고 있다. 광고분야에서는 방송 생중계시 가상공간에 실시간으로 3차원적 광고 삽입하여 시청자에게 큰 시너지 효과를 줄 수가 있다. 또한, 가상현실 언어인 VRML의 등장으로 웹 상에서도 가상 박물관, 가상 모델하우스, 가상 홈쇼핑, 오락 등 3타원 가상현실 구현이 가능하게 되어 보다 다양한 엔터테인먼트 역할을 수행하고 있다. 이와 같이 본 고는 가상현실 기술을 이용하여 영상산업에 있어 활용방안을 모색하고자 하였다.

  • With widespread use of the Internet and improvements in streaming media and compression technology, digital music, video, and image can be distributed instantaneously across the Internet to end-users. However, most conventional Digital Right Management are often not secure and fast enough to process the vast amount of data generated by the multimedia applications to meet the real-time constraints. In this paper, we propose the copyright protection using encryption of DCT coefficients and motion vector in MPEG-4 video codec of mobile device. This paper presents a new Digital Rights Management that modifies the Motion Vector of Macroblock for mobile device. Experimental results indicate that the proposed DRM can not only achieve very low cost of the encryption but also enable separable authentication to individual mobile devices such as Portable Multimedia Player and Personal Digital Assistants. The performance of the proposed methods have low complexity and low increase of bit rate in overhead.

우리나라 영상분야 자원관리 현황 및 개선전략 (Archiving Situation and Improvement Strategy of Video Resources in Korea)

  • 영상산업이 국가산업에 이바지할 수 있는 고부가가치 산업으로 각광을 받고 있음에도 불구하고, 영상자원 확보를 통한 영상산업 전반을 지원할 수 있는 국가적 차원의 영상 자원 확충전략이 미흡한 실정이다. 국내의 영상자원 확보는 한국영상자료원의 한국영화에 대한 아카이빙이 유일하다고 할 수 있다. 본 연구는 영상분야 자원확충을 통해 영상 산업 및 학술연구 지원역량을 강화하여 영상산업의 경쟁력 제고가 가능할 수 있도록 영상분야 자원확충을 위한 전략적 방안을 제시하고자 한다. 영상자원의 확충방안으로 제시한 방법은 크게 영상기록물과 자료적 가치가 있는 파생 기록물 등을 위한 아카이빙을 담당할 기관과 영상분야의 연구와 발전을 위한 학술지원 기능을 담당하는 기관을 구분하여 제시하였다. 영상자료 아카이빙과 관련하여 한국영상자료원의 역할조정과 방송자료 아카이빙의 일원화 혹은 통합시스템 구축을 위한 대안 모색을 제안하였다.

Implementation of Video Mirroring System based on IP

  • The recent development of information and communication technology has a great impact on the audio/video industry. In particular, IP-based AoIP transmission technology and AVB technology are making changes in the audio/video market. Video signal transmission technology has been introduced to the market through a network, but it has not replaced the video switcher function. Video signals in the conference room or classroom are still controlled by the switching device. In order to switch input/output video devices, a cable that is not limited by distance must be connected to the switcher. In addition, the control of the switching device must be performed by a person who has received professional training. In this paper, it is a technology that can be operated even by non-experts by replacing complex video cables (RGB, DVI, HDMI, DP) with LAN cables and enabling IP-based video switching and transmission (Video Mirroring over IP: VMoIP) to replace video switcher equipment. We are going to do this study, I/O videos were controlled in the form of matrix and high-definition videos were transmitted without distortion, and VMoIP is expected to become the standard for video switching systems in the future.
