머리 진동 측정치의 불확도 인자들에 관한 연구 (Study on Uncertainty Factors of Head Vibration Measurements)

  • 이 논문에서는 기존의 6-축 혹은 9-축 머리진동 측정장치(bite-bar)를 이용한 머리진동 측정에서 직면하는 불확도 인자들에 대한 문제점을 우선 소개한다. 이들 불확도 인자들은 머리의 6-자유도 운동 성분의 추정에 필요한 모든 측정 요소들을 측정하지 않았다는 한계점에서 유발함을 보인다. 이러한 문제점을 극복하기 위하여 4개의 3축 가속도 센서로 구성된 새로운 머리진동 측정장치(12-axis bite-bar)의 모델을 제안한다. 본 모델은 측정 기준점에서의 선형 3축 가속도 뿐 아니라 3축 각 가속도와 함께 6 종의 2차 각속도 성분들의 추정 또한 가능하게 한다. 이러한 12 성분의 추정 모델로부터 비로소 머리의 임의 점에서 6-자유도 운동 성분의 계산이 가능함을 이론적으로 규명한다. 이러한 이론적 배경에 기반을 두고 설계 제작된 12-축 머리진동 장치(12-axis bite-bar)를 소개한다. 본 장치를 이용하여 얻어진 실험 결과 소개 뿐 아니라 기존의 측정장치의 측정 결과와 비교 분석 내용을 소개한다.

BLDC 모터의 온도 및 진동 특성 연구 (Study on Temperature and Vibration of BLDC Motor)

  • In this paper, transient temperature and vibration characteristics of a brushless DC (BLD(c) motor are studied for external load (165W~495W) and rotational speed (2000 rpm~4000 rpm). For experiment, a simple measurement system is developed to allow a change in load and speed for measuring transient temperature and vibration simultaneously. Temperature and vibration were also measured under the conditions of natural convection and forced convection. Vibrations in the directions of x-axis (#Ch1), y -axis (#Ch2) and z -axis (#Ch3) were obtained by three accelerometers and temperature was obtained by a thermo-couple with respect to time until the motor is steady. Experimental results show that the amplitude of vibration is higher in the order of z-axis (#Ch3), x -axis (#Ch1) and y-axis (#Ch2) and the amplitude of vibration at the forced convection conditions is 10.6% to 17.8% lower than that of vibration at the natural convection. However, the ratio of the vibration value is similar on average regardless of external convection condition.

음차자이로의 동적특성 연구 (Dynamic Analysis of Toning-fork Gyroscope)

  • A rate gyroscope has been used popularly to measure the angular motion of a given vehicle using a symmetric rotor spinning rapidly about its symmetry axis. Since the rapid rotation is required in this type of gyroscope, the motor has been used to make the rotor spin, so that it results in a heavy configuration. The toning-fork gyroscope has been developed to avoid this problem, which utilizes a Coriolis coupling term and vibration about one axis. Due to the Coriolis effect, the vibration of one axis is transferred to other axis when the angular motion along the vibrating axis is given to the system. The concept of a tuning-fork gyroscope was recently realized using MEMS techniques. However, the dynamic characteristics of the tuning-fork gyroscope has not been discussed in detail. In this study. we derived the equations of motion for the tuning-fork type gyroscope using the energy approach and investigated the dynamic characteristics by means of numerical analysis.

  • THE RAILWAY VEHICLE IS CONSISTS OF CARBODY, BOGIE AND WHEELSETS, EACH OF COMPONENTS IS CONNECTED WITH RIGID MASS, SPRING AND DAMPER. EACH OF COMPONENTS HAS TRANSLATION MOTIONS OF LONGITUDINAL (X AXIS), LATERAL (Y AXIS) AND VERTICAL (Z AXIS) DIRECTIONS, ROTATION MOTIONS OF X, Y, Z AXIS WHICH ARE NAMED ROLLING, PITCHING AND YAWING. THE VIBRATION MODE OF RAILWAY VEHICLE IS DIFFICULT TO FIND THE CHARACTERISTICS OF MOTION DURING THE OPERATION ON THE TRACK BECAUSE THESE HAPPEN TO INDEPENDENCE OR DUPLICATION MOTION CAUSED BY VEHICLE, WHEEL/RAIL AND TRACK IRREGULARITY ETC. IT IS NAMED AN ABNORMAL VIBRATION THAT THE VIBRATION, WHICH WAS PASSED THE PRIMARY AND SECONDARY SUSPENSION, IS AFFECTED TO THE PASSENGER WITHOUT DAMPING. THIS PAPER DESCRIBES AN EXPERIENCE EVALUATION TO FIND THE CAUSE OF AN ABNORMAL VIBRATION WHICH WAS HAPPEN AT OPERATING SPEED 60KPH ZONE DURING THE MAINLINE TEST.

도심지 발파공사장의 발파진동 특성 (The Characteristics of Blasting Vibration in the Construction of Apartment and Buildings in Urban Area)

  • In order to evaluate the effect of blasting vibration in buildings and it's resident located around blasting construction field in urban area, blasting vibration characteristics were measured by the vibration level, vibration velocity. The 250g and 750g of charged powder were used at the apartment and at the ground, respectively. In the measurement of the ground, 2 (perpendicularity) axis was the highest value in vibration level, but vertical direction was the highest value at 25 m point and longitudinal direction was the highest value at 50 m point in vibration velocity. The amount of measurement was high value when measuring point is higher than blasting source, while that of measurement was low value when measuring point is lower than blasting source. In the measurement of the apartment, Z axis was the highest value in vibration level, but in vibration velocity transverse direction was the highest value at ground, was vertical direction at 1st floor, was longitudinal direction at 3rd floor and was vertical and longitudinal direction at 5th floor. The vibration level and the vibration velocity of 50 m point showed higher correlation value than 25 m point at the ground, but those of 25 m point showed higher correlation value than 50 m point at the apartment.

  • Vibration modes obtained from a modal analysis can be better explained from a screw theoretical standpoint. A vibration mode can be geometrically interpreted as a pure rotation about the vibration center in a plane and as the twisting motion on a screw in a three dimensional space. This paper, presents the method to diagonalize a spatial stiffness matrix by use of a parallel axis congruence transformation. It also describes that the stiffness matrix diagonalized by a congruence transformation, can have the planes of symmetry depending on the location of the center of elasticity. For a plane of symmetry, any vibration mode can be expressed by the axis of vibration. Analytical solutions for the axis of vibration has been derived.

  • This paper introduces experimental results of the ride qulaity characteristics of automotive seats fixed on the vibration table that is noving simultaneously to the three-axis in a similar way to the real running condition. Vibration experiment was carried out for five different automotive seats and four Korean individuals. The assessment of the ride quality characteristics for each seat and indiviual was made not only from the analysis of vibration measurements but also from the evaluation of weighied vibration signals, which were obtained using the frequency weighting function and the multiplication factor dependent on the position and axis of vibration exposure to wehole-body. The usefulness of those assessment results in analysis of the ride quality of seats is discussed and their limitation is also pointed out in this paper.

  • The purpose of engine mount system is to reduce the noise and vibration caused by engine vibration, and to decouple the roll and bounce mode at idle. To reduce the noise and vibration level in a vehicle, it is important to make the design optimization of engine mount system that consider the moment of inertia and inclination of mount rubber. As a result, according to the definition of Torque Roll Axis (TRA), the vibration axis at idle must be on the TRA or very close to it. In this paper, we studied the effect of the design optimization of engine mount system. And we have achieved good improvements in noise and vibration quality of F.R. vehicle.

  • In this study, operational vibration experiment and analysis have been conducted for the 4-blade small vertical-axis wind turbine (VAWT) including the effect of tower elastic behavior. Computational structural dynamics analysis method is applied to obtain Campbell diagram for the VAWT with elastic tower. An open type wind-tunnel is used to change and keep the wind velocity during the ground test. Equivalent reduced elastic tower is supported to the VAWT so that the elastic stiffness effect of the tower can be reflected to the present vibration experiment. Various excitation sources with aerodynamic forces are considered and the dominant operating vibration phenomena are physically investigated in detail.
