  • In this paper, we study how the remote controllable mobile robot which could come to many via points with FLC(Fuzzy Logic Control) efficiently. The fabricated robot stop after the movement of single path method by four kinds of commands (forward, backward, turn left, turn right). To reduce disadvantages of this driving type, this paper reduce via points to goal position base on map which get from senor, let robot drive via point to via point on optimized path. An algorithm for the avoidance of unexpected obstacles by FLC is developed. And these algorithms are confirmed by computer simulations

  • This paper proposes a method of occluded number recognition by matching interest points. Interest points of input pattern are found via SURF features extracting and matched to interest points of clusters in database following three steps: SURF matching, coordinate matching and SURF matching on coordinate matched points. Then the satisfied interest points are counted to compute matching rate of each cluster. The input pattern will be assigned to cluster having highest matching rate. We have experimented our method to different numerical fonts and got encouraging results.

  • In this research multiple change-points estimation for South Korean electricity generation data is considered. We analyze the South Korean electricity data via deterministically trending dynamic time series model with multiple structural changes in trends in a Bayesian approach. The number of change-points and the timing are unknown. The goal is to find the best model with the appropriate number of change-points and the length of the segments. A genetic algorithm is implemented to solve this optimization problem with a variable dimension of parameters. We estimate the structural change-points for South Korean electricity generation data and Nile River flow data additionally.

  • The atomic scale details of the melting of solid argon were monitored with the aid of molecular dynamics simulations. The potential energy distribution is substantially disturbed by an increase in the interatomic distance and the random of set distance from the lattice points, with increasing temperature. The potential energy barriers between the lattice points decrease in magnitude with the temperature. Eventually, at the melting point, these barriers can be overcome by atoms that are excited with the entropy gain acquired when the atoms obtain rotational freedom in their atomic motion, and the rotational freedom leads to the collapse of the crystal structure. Furthermore, it was found that the surface of crystals plays an important role in the melting process: the surface eliminates the barrier for the nucleation of the liquid phase and facilitates the melting process. Moreover, the atomic structure of the surface varies with increasing temperature, first via surface roughening and then, before the bulk melts, via surface melting.

  • This study deals with the gait optimization of via points on biped robot. ZMP(Zero Moment Point) is most important index in a biped robot's dynamic walking stability. To stable walking of a biped robot, legs's trajectory and a desired ZMP trajectory is required, balancing weight's movement is solved by FDM(Finite Difference Method). In this study, optimal index is defined to dynamically static walking of a biped robot, and optimization of via points is applied by GA(Genetic Algorithm).

  • This study deals with arbitration award via modern technical means; because e-Arbitration is deemed to be one of the most important substitute means for the settlement of disputes arising from electronic transactions. This type of arbitration is characterized by fast settlement of disputes, as well as fast enforcement of awards rendered thereon. The researcher seeks to indicate the content of the award, the conditions for rendering it, and to analyze the legal provisions related to its legal basis in the Saudi Law of Arbitration. This study shows that an arbitration award, rendered via modern technical means has a number of advantages, such as fast settlement, less cost, and keeping pace with modern technology, which is an aim of Saudi Arabia Vision 2030. The study also points out certain problems facing arbitration via technical means; however, the most important of which is the insufficiency of some legal rules associated with traditional arbitration, as contained in the Saudi Law of Arbitrator, which are incompatible with or applicable to an arbitration award which is rendered via modern means.

  • Face recognition has been actively studied and developed in various fields. In recent years, interest point extraction algorithms mainly used for object recognition were being applied to face recognition. The SURF(Speeded Up Robust Features) algorithm was used in this paper which was one of typical interest point extraction algorithms. Generally, the interest points extracted from human faces are less distinctive than the interest points extracted from objects due to the similar shapes of human faces. Thus, the accuracy of the face recognition using SURF tends to be low. In order to improve it, we propose a face recognition algorithm which performs interest point extraction by SURF and the Gabor wavelet transform to extract descriptors from the interest points. In the result, the proposed method shows around 23% better recognition accuracy than SURF-based conventional methods.

  • This paper proposes a method for estimating the vibrational power supplied by a machine that generates excitation force to its supporting structure via the coupling points. The basis of the method is that the vibrational power can be calculated using the mechanical impedance and the velocity at the coupling points on the supporting structure. First, a method is described to estimate the mobilities at the coupling points when the machine is not separable from the supporting structure, then the vibrational power is calculated using the estimated mobilities and measured velocities at the coupling points. The mobilities are estimated from the result of impulsive testing of the coupled structure. The method is investigated using an experimental model. The estimated and measured values of the mobilities and the vibrational power are compared. It is shown that the estimated values agree well with the measured values.

  • In this paper, a depth image up-sampling method is put forward by using pixel classifying and jointed bilateral filtering. By analyzing the edge maps originated from the high-resolution color image and low-resolution depth map respectively, pixels in up-sampled depth maps can be classified into four categories: edge points, edge-neighbor points, texture points and smooth points. First, joint bilateral up-sampling (JBU) method is used to generate an initial up-sampling depth image. Then, for each pixel category, different refinement methods are employed to modify the initial up-sampling depth image. Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm can reduce the blurring artifact with lower bad pixel rate (BPR).
