Purpose: Once the decision has been made to adopt an integrated medical information system (IMIS), there are a number of issues to overcome. Users need to be aware of the impact the change will make on end users and be prepared to address issues that arise before they become problems. The purpose of this study is to investigate the benefits and unexpected problems encountered in the implementation of IMIS and to determine a useful framework for IMIS. Materials and Methods: The Yonsei University Dental Hospital is steadily constructing an IMIS. The vendor's PACS software, Piview STAR, supports transactions between workstations that are approved to integrating the healthcare enterprise (IHE) with security function. It is necessary to develop an excellent framework that is good for the patient, healthcare provider and information system vendors, in an expert, efficient, and cost-effective manner. Results : The problems encountered with IMIS implementation were high initial investments, delay of EMR enforcement, underdevelopment of digital radiographic appliances and software and insufficient educational training for users. Conclusions: The clinical environments of dental IMIS is some different from the medical situation. The best way to overcome these differences is to establish a gold standard of dental IMIS integration, which estimates the cost payback. The IHE and its technical framework are good for the patient, the health care provider and all information systems vendors.

For efficient and effective university-industry linked training programs, it is critical to design customized educational systems including various curriculums for specific needs from industries. To do that, we need to understand that the quality of collaboration between large companies and their vendors. Therefore, in this study, we provided SCQM(Supply Chain Quality Management) and QCI-SCM(Quality Collaboration Index for Supply Chain Management) to evaluate the quality levels of collaboration between large sized companies and their sub-vendors. And we tried to find the critical factors for successful SCQM and global quality management competitiveness.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of vendor perceived equity on the performance of retailer-vendor relationship. The empirical study of 386 vendors identified the following results. First, retailers' ethical management positively influenced on vendors' perception on procedural justice and interactional equity, whereas boundary personnel's ethical management positively influenced only on interactional equity. Second, distributive equity was positively influenced by procedural equity and interactional equity. Third, the performance of retailer-vendor relationship was directly affected by distributive equity and interactional equity, whereas procedural equity indirectly influenced on the relationship via distributive equity.

Studied are the statistical thermal design (STD) methods that have been developed to satisfy the design basis which protects a pressurized water reactor (PWR) core against departure from nucleate boiling (DNB) during normal operations and anticipated transients. The objective of the statistical thermal design is to quantify the thermal design margin and to remove any excess conservatism from the DNB ratio calculations through statistically combining design parameter uncertainties, while still maintaining a high level of core protection. This report describes and compares the STD methods developed by the two U.S. reactor vendors (Westinghouse and B & W). Included are the characteristics of STD, statistical treatment of uncertainties, DNB design limit development methodology and the sample application of the STD technique to core thermal design analysis. It is observed that the STD methods developed by the two vendors are similiar to each other in principle, but different in the treatment of the uncertainties associated with the design parameters. The statistical thermal design is found to significantly improve the thermal design margin.

During recent few years, Bike is arising as one of the most important item of sports market. As well as in domestic markets, customers are demanding specific brands only for young aged riders. Therefore, this study researched current bike wears and suggest digital textile printing with sports wear trends which also have safety and visual impact effectiveness, so it can be satisfied as green products and we also try to suggest sports sensitivity of existing cycle wear to city fashion. The purpose of this study is to figure out 20's-30's female biker attitude for bike wear and their purchasing habits and also their preference, digital textile design of city biker wear based on present condition research of riding wear markets and to establish high quality products with occupying high percentage of global markets and making high profits. For this study, bike wear distributors Survey First, foreign companies generally meet evenly sampling the 20s and 30s targeted vendors 10 companies were selected. 'city sporty ware' or 'casual line' dual 'extreme line' from all manufacturers, including, however did not distinguish it from all the vendors. This higher proportion of the recent upsurge in public and non-professional riders, despite the fact that you can see that the lack of 'Extreme line' compared to the 'casual' line of the city sporty ware production. overall seasonal sales in the spring appeared windbreak jacket, leggings and sweat emissions and at the same time built into the fabric dry faster T-shirt and shorts in the summer sales were higher. autumn jacket and produced excellent warm in winter fleece fabric T-shirts, pants, windshield jacket higher sales. showed improvements in design, improved in the order of the highest and perfect for everyday wear for both. As mentioned, we figure out 20's-30's female rider's attitude for riding suit and their purchasing habits and also their preference, so we can develop riding suit design based on their needs and suggest new design patterns.

This study attempted to extract and structure the job skills required for 3D designers, which have been recently introduced to the fashion industry. The study aimed to materialize and objectify the 3D designer's job, using a focus group interview for the survey. The 3D designer has the TD task of making 3D virtual samples using the pattern files developed in Pattern CAD. Graphic design and fabric digitization are also major tasks for the 3D designer. CLO is mainly used for 3D virtual sample production, and PixPlant, Substance, Photoshop, Cinema 4D, Daz studio, and 3ds MAX are used for image and avatar editing. As per the job skills required for 3D design work, basic knowledge about patterns and sewing, skill in 3D virtual clothing technology, ability to use various software, and English skills were considered important, in that order. In particular, the need for knowledge about patterns and sewing became more important than the skill in 3D virtual clothing technology itself. To train 3D designers, it was found that not only 3D virtual clothing software, but also education on patterns and clothing construction, CAD developer's curriculum certification system, and 3D designer qualification management were required. In addition, 3D designers are recognized as an essential job in fashion vendors, and the demand for domestic brands is increasing. The biggest limitation of the 3D virtual clothing system is the perfection of the digital fabric. Also, technical improvement is needed.

Background: Plastic waste generates pollutants in the process of incineration or landfilling, and accumulates in water or marine organisms, causing adverse effects on the environment and the human body. Recently, various eco-friendly oral hygiene products (Eco-OHPs) such as bamboo toothbrushes and biodegradable plastic toothbrushes have been developed. Therefore, this study aimed to investigate the current level of awareness and purchasing status of eco-OHPs among adults who are interested in eco-friendly products. Methods: This study included adults aged >19 years who regularly visited eco-friendly shops and online sites; the online survey links were distributed during their visits to eco-friendly Internet cafés and companies. Of the 22 questions, seven assessed the participants' general characteristics, three assessed the general oral hygiene care products used, six assessed the level of awareness of Eco-OHPs, and six assessed the purchasing status of Eco-OHPs. Frequency analysis, chi-square test, and regression analysis were performed using SPSS software. Results: Among the respondents, 108 (51.4%) were aware of Eco-OHPs, and 79 (37.6%) had experience purchasing Eco-OHPs. The most common reason for not purchasing was the lack of information about related brands or products (74, 56.5%). The most common platform used in obtaining information was the Internet (general: 31.5%, eco-friendly: 46.3%), such as Social Network Service, Internet cafes, and blogs. The experience in purchasing Eco-OHPs was affected by whether the respondents recognized the possibility of contributing to environmental preservation, availability of vendors, product safety, and the number of eco-friendly products purchased. Conclusion: In order to expand the use of Eco-OHPs, various efforts such as promotion of eco-friendly characteristics, determination of related vendors, reliable analysis of product safety, and expansion of product experience opportunities are required.

Along with the increased use of e-journal since mid of 1990's, there has been a sharp increase of license contracting in the library. However the librarians who have no enough knowledge nor technology to handle the licensing are experiencing difficulties in the process. The study intended to help them understand the practical problems of license contracting between library and vendors, and proposed guidelines for developing model license for e-journal based on the licensing principles of IFLA and ALA.

The market for commercial open source software (OSS) has been rapidly growing with the proliferation of OSS. One way to commercialize OSS is the support model, which has been adopted by leading OSS firms such as Red Hat and JBoss. Despite the growing interest in OSS commercialization, little research has provided OSS support providers with a pricing guideline. In this paper, we examine the optimal pricing strategies for OSS support providers. Our benchmark is a monopoly case in which we investigate a startup software vendor's incentive to choose the OSS support regime over the proprietary one. Then we extend the model to a duopoly case in which OSS under the support regime competes against proprietary software. We characterize the conditions under which the OSS support model is viable under competition. We believe that our results offer insights to the OSS vendors who consider commercializing their OSS with a support model.

This paper describes the design and implementation of a SNMP Agent for NG-SDH transmission system. One of the most important items in SDH network management is the information model that implements every function of SDH equipment at network level. Although the TMN framework of SDH information model has been defined quite well, CMIP constraints of a real implementation urge vendors to implement proprietary features, and make it more difficult to maintain an integrated view of multivendor SDH networks management. To solve these aspects, this work proposes SNMP information model that allows a simple view of NG-SDH network management.
