HAI 제어기에 의한 유도전동기의 센서리스 벡터제어 (Sensorless Vector Control of Induction Motor with HAI Controller)

  • This paper is proposed hybrid artificial intelligent (HAI) controller based on the vector controlled induction motor drive system. The hybrid combination of fuzzy control and neural network will produce a powerful representation flexibility and numerical processing capability. Also, this paper is proposed speed estimation of induction motor using a closed-loop state observer. The rotor position is calculated through the stator flux position and an estimated flux value of rotation reference frame. A closed-loop state observer is implemented to compute the speed feedback signal. The results of analysis prove that the proposed control system has strong robustness to rotor parameter variation, and has good steady-state accuracy and transitory response.

Extended Support Vector Machines for Object Detection and Localization

  • Object detection is a fundamental task for many high-level computer vision applications such as image retrieval, scene understanding, activity recognition, visual surveillance and many others. Although object detection is one of the most popular problems in computer vision and various algorithms have been proposed thus far, it is also notoriously difficult, mainly due to lack of proper models for object representation, that handle large variations of object structure and appearance. In this article, we review a branch of object detection algorithms based on Support Vector Machines (SVMs), a well-known max-margin technique to minimize classification error. We introduce a few variations of SVMs-Structural SVMs and Latent SVMs-and discuss their applications to object detection and localization.

  • Since it is common to have touch-screen devices, it is less challenging to draw sketches anywhere and save them in vector form. Current research on sketches considers coordinate sequence data and adopts sequential models for learning sketch representation in sketch understanding. In the sketch dataset, it has become customary that the dataset is in vector coordinate format. Moreover, the popular dataset does not consider real-life sketches, sketches from pencil, pen, and paper. Art psychology uses real-life sketches to analyze patients. ETRI presents a unique sketch dataset for sketch recognition of autism spectrum disorder in pixel format. We present a method to formulate the dataset for better generalization of sketch data. Through experiments, we show that pixel-based models can produce a good performance.

  • In this paper, according to the classical LSQR algorithm forsolving least squares (LS) problem, an iterative method is proposed for finding the minimum-norm pure imaginary solution of the quaternionic least squares (QLS) problem. By means of real representation of quaternion matrix, the QLS's correspongding vector algorithm is rewrited back to the matrix-form algorthm without Kronecker product and long vectors. Finally, numerical examples are reported that show the favorable numerical properties of the method.

  • 본 논문에서는 비디오 스트림 서버에서 의미 기반 검색을 가능하게 하기 위하여 대용량 스트림 데이터를 효과적으로 표현하고 저장하는 기법을 제시한다. 비디오 스트림 내의 각 프레임을 다차원 공간상의 점으로 사상함으로써 비디오 스트림은 다차원 시퀀스(multidimensional sequence)로 표현되고, 이 시퀀스는 다시 비디오 세그먼트로 분할된다. 분할된 세그먼트로부터 정적인 특성과 연속된 프레임의 움직임을 나타내는 트랜드 벡터(trend vector)등의 의미 정보를 추출하여 모델링 함으로서 스트림 데이터를 효과적으로 표현한다. 또한 제안된 기법은 효율적인 검색을 위하여 비디오 세그먼트를 인덱싱하고 저장하는 방법을 제공함으로써 공간 사용의 효율성을 높이고 신속한 검색을 가능하게 한다.

  • Let $F{\subseteq}{\mathbb{P}}^3$ be a smooth surface of degree $3{\leq}d{\leq}9$ whose equation can be expressed as either the determinant of a $d{\times}d$ matrix of linear forms, or the pfaffian of a $(2d){\times}(2d)$ matrix of linear forms. In this paper we show that F supports families of dimension p of pairwise non-isomorphic, indecomposable, Ulrich bundles for arbitrary large p.

  • 우리는 먼저 Principal G-bundle와 성질을 살피고 representation of G over C를 irreducible CG-space의 direct sum으로 표시하여 Schur's Lemma를 이용하면 E가 임의의 CG-space, ${\sigma}E=Hom_c(E{\sigma},E)$라 할 때 ${\oplus}_{\sigma}(E_{\sigma}{\otimes}{\sigma}E){\rightarrow}E$ 가 G-ismorphism이 됨을 알아본다. 본 논문의 목적은 이러한 결과를 이용하여 K(X)와 $K_G(X)$의 관계를 구명하는데 있다.

  • In this paper, we propose a new object representation method and matching algorithm for object recognition using a 3-fingered robot hand. Each finger tip can measure normal vector and shapes of a contacting surface. Object is represented by the inter-surface description table where the features of a surface are described in the diagonal and the relations between two surfaces are in the upper diagonal. Based on this table, a fast and the efficient matching algorithm has been proposed. This algorithm can be applied to natural quadric objects.

  • A 6-dimensional sphere considered as a homogeneous space $G_2/SU(3)$ where $G_2$ is the group of automorphism of the octonians O. From this representation, we can define an almost comlex structure on a 6-dimensional sphere by making use of the vector cross product of the octonians. Also it is known that a homogeneous space $G_2/U(2)$ coincides with the Grassmann manifold of oriented 2-planes of a 7-dimensional Euclidean space.

ON THE REPRESENTATION OF PROBABILITY VECTOR WITH SPECIAL DIFFUSION OPERATOR USING THE MUTATION AND GENE CONVERSION RATE

  • We will deal with an n locus model in which mutation and gene conversion are taken into consideration. Also random partitions of the number n determined by chromosomes with n loci should be investigated. The diffusion process describes the time evolution of distributions of the random partitions. In this paper, we find the probability of distribution of the diffusion process with special diffusion operator $L_1$ and we show that the average probability of genes at different loci on one chromosome can be described by the rate of gene frequency of mutation and gene conversion.
