Infectious calf diarrhea is one of the most significant diseases of neonatal calves. This study is conducted to identify the prevalence of pathogens in calf diarrhea for 2 years. A total of 544 feces samples from Korean native beef calves were obtained to investigate selected seven pathogens causing calf diarrhea: bovine rotavirus, bovine coronavirus, Cryptosporidium parvum, bovine viral diarrhea virus, Eimeria species, Escherichia coli K99, and Salmonella species. The presence of diarrhea, the number and species of detected pathogens, and the calves' ages were analyzed using various statistical methods depending on the case. Of the 544 calves, 340 calves (62.5%) had normal feces and 204 calves (37.5%) had diarrhea. The presence of pathogens was significantly associated with diarrhea (p < 0.01) and fecal scores and the number of detected pathogens showed a significant linear trend (p < 0.001). Of the 7 target pathogens, 6 were detected in samples, but only C. parvum (p = 0.001) and bovine rotavirus (p < 0.001) were found at significantly higher rates in diarrheic calves than in non-diarrheic calves. Only Eimeria spp. showed a significant linear trend between the detection rate of the pathogen and the age groups (p < 0.05).
Background In recent years thread lift has become widespread; however, existing methods need to improve their long-term outcome, which requires considering topographic anatomy of face and neck, especially the ligamentous apparatus. This study aims to assess the effectiveness and safety of an innovative method of one-time three-step thread facelift, which provides an additional support to the ligamentous structures of the upper, middle, and lower thirds of the face and neck. Methods The study included 357 patients aged 32 to 67 years with various morphotypes of aging. The original method of thread lift was applied, and its effectiveness was followed up for to 2 years. The Wrinkle Severity Rating Score (WSRS) and Global Aesthetic Improvement Scale (GAIS) scores were used for assessment by investigators, independent observers, and patients. Statistical significance was determined using paired t-test and chi-square test. Results The mean WSRS score was 3.88 ± 0.88 before the thread lift, 1.93 ± 0.81 one month after the procedure, and 2.36 ± 0.85 after 2 years of follow-up. The mean GAIS was 4.80 ± 0.04 one month after thread lift, and 4.01 ± 0.04 after 2 years, while in the patients' assessment Global Satisfaction Scale was 4.86 ± 0.02 and 4.10 ± 0.02, respectively. There were no clinically significant complications throughout the observation period. Conclusion The new method of one-time three-step thread fixation of the soft tissues of the face and neck demonstrated a high degree of satisfaction by both experts and patients after 2 years of follow-up. It showed high efficacy and safety, including in the group of patients with pronounced age-related changes of the skin of face and neck.

As abnormal climates occur due to the increase in greenhouse gases at home and abroad, various problems such as human casualties, crop damage, energy depletion, and economic loss due to heat diseases, which are one of the extreme climate phenomena, are following one after another. In response, the government has established the 'Climate Crisis Response Special Committee' since 2018, when it recorded the greatest damage in history due to heat waves, and has been carrying out budget formation and reform of laws and systems every year to respond to heat waves. However, in relation to the heat wave damage reduction facility that is being expanded with a large budget, there is no prior research related to the degree of heat loss due to the use of the facility, the difference in effects between specific groups, and the economic effect that comes back compared to the invested budget. Therefore, from a midto long-term perspective, it is expected that it will be difficult to establish a clear direction for policy making. Therefore, in this study, representative facilities were selected according to the principle of heat reduction among the currently expanded heat damage reduction facilities, and a questionnaire survey was conducted for users of each reduction facility (waterfall, awning, pond, and elastic pavement). Accordingly, the change in the sense of heat according to the use of the heat damage reduction facility was checked, and the change in the sense of heat according to the group characteristics (gender, age, metabolic rate) was analyzed to examine the characteristics of the relationship between the facility and the users.
This study was conducted to understand the perception and the usage pattern of egg dishes in university students. The questionnaires were collected from 200 university students residing in Seoul. The age group was 118 (59.0%) in 20s, 50 (25.0%) in 30s, and 32 (16.5%) in 40s and older. Also, 179 (89.5%) were undergraduate students and 21 (10.5%) were graduates. The result of food preferences in the overall survey was as follows: Meats and Poultry (4.46±1.03) > Seafoods (2.92±1.41) > Fruits (2.91±1.17) > Eggs (2.50±1.10) > Vegetables (2.21±1.17). The preference of foods using eggs as the main ingredient was as follows: Rolled egg (4.07±0.81) > Steamed egg (4.05±0.91) > Scrambled egg (3.83±1.03) > Rice omelet (3.77±1.03). The preference of foods using eggs as sub-ingredient was Egg in Ramyeon (4.11±1.08) > Fried egg over Bibimbob (3.87±0.91) > Sliced boiled egg in Naengmyeon (3.78±1.11). The preference of eggs as desserts was Egg tart (4.01±1.08) > Sponge cake (3.72±1.09) > Egg bread (3.63±1.13). The result of the frequency of eating eggs indicating that approximately two-thirds of university students consumed eggs more than 3 times a week. Although there was no significant difference, male students not only consumed eggs more frequently than female students, but also consumed a higher amount. In recent years, since one-person household in college students tends to increase, it is more important to save cooking time and food quality. Thus, the development and dissemination of various egg recipes should be prioritized for university students.
Today's customer service providers, who have the greatest impact on customer satisfaction, are experiencing severe stress and job burnout due to various causes. Unlike general companies, the corporation has a relatively high level of dissatisfaction with customer service since there is a large conflict between the provision of kindness and the reasonable handling of civil complaints according to laws and regulations. In order to analyze the environment of the NPS' customer service providers, 5.583 branch employees working at the National Pension Service and 407 call center employees were surveyed online using the questionnaire function of the Enterprise resource planning system. The contents of the survey consisted of a survey on customer-facing employees, the level of awareness of customer-facing workers protection measures, and opinions on improvement and supplementation related to customer-facing workers protection measures. As a result of the survey, 72.8% of the total respondents experienced grievance complaints, and the proportion of call center employees was even higher at 89.0%. In addition, both the branch and the call center had the largest share of complaints about obstruction of business, unreasonable demands, abusive language, and verbal abuse. More than 40% of call center employees in their 20s and 30s experienced the highest frequency of complaints 13 or more times a year. The most difficult thing in the process of responding to complaints was that both branch offices and call centers had insufficient psychological recovery time, lack of space, and lack of help from colleagues and superiors. Based on the survey analysis, it is suggested to establish a countermeasure through case analysis rather than the right to suspend work for civil complaints that cannot be handled, such as customized manuals and action strategies for the age group with high grievance complaints.

This study attempted to examine the subjectivity of consumers of the MZ generation in their 20s on health functional foods, which have recently emerged as hot consumption items. A study was conducted using the Q methodology to examine the characteristics, meanings, and values of the younger generation in the health functional food market represented by red ginseng, vitamins, and probiotics. Using the QUANL analysis program, a total of 37 Q samples and 30 P samples were used in the study, and three types with unique tendencies were found. The first type discovered through this was named "YubiMuhwan(Forewarned, forearmed; 有備無患)", the second type was "Bansinbanui(half confident; 半信半疑)", and the third type was called "Silsagushi(empirical tradition; 實事求是)". Reflecting these attributes, various strategic ideas were presented for the classification of new characteristics and consumers in the health functional food market and promotion of sales.
The 'MZ generation' is accustomed to expressing their thoughts and opinions online. As a result, the role of social media in understanding the opinions and public sentiment of the MZ generation has become increasingly important. In particular, the role of social media in understanding the opinions of young people in political contexts such as policies and elections is becoming more significant. Traditionally, in such political situations, various institutions conduct opinion surveys to grasp the opinions of the people. However, existing opinion surveys have many errors and limitations in understanding the specific opinions of the entire population since they are conducted on arbitrary individuals through survey techniques. Online communities are representative social media that share the opinions of the public on specific issues such as politics, economics, and culture. Therefore, online communities are widely used as a means to supplement the limitations of traditional opinion polls. In particular, the MZ generation is familiar with online platforms, and their political support has significant influence on election results and policy decisions. With this regard, this study analyzed the relationship between the sentiment reflected in online community text data by age group on major candidates and public opinion survey support rates during the Korean presidential election for those in their 20s. The analysis showed that negative sentiments reflected in online communities by the MZ generation have a negative correlation with public opinion survey support rates. This study contributes to theory and practice by revealing a significant association between social media and public opinion polls.
This study was carried out to analyze trends in floral products and services through the big data analysis of various social networking services (SNSs) and then to provide objective marketing directions for the floricultural industry. To analyze the big data of SNSs, we used four analytical methods: Cotton Trend (Social Matrix), Naver Big Data Lab, Instagram Big Data Analysis, and YouTube Big Data Analysis. The results of the big data analysis showed that SNS users paid positive attention to flower one-day classes that can satisfy their needs for direct experiences. Consumers of floral products and services had their favorite designs in mind and purchased floral products very actively. The demand for flower items such as bouquets, wreaths, flower baskets, large bouquets, orchids, flower boxes, wedding bouquets, and potted plants was very high, and cut flowers such as roses, tulips, and freesia were most popular as of June 1, 2019. By gender of consumers, females (68%) purchased more flower products through SNSs than males (32%). Consumers preferred mobile devices (90%) for online access compared to personal computers (PCs; 10%) and frequently searched flower-related words from February to May for the past three years from 2016 to 2018. In the aspect of design, they preferred natural style to formal style. In conclusion, future marketing activities in the floricultural industry need to be focused on social networks based on the results of big data analysis of popular SNSs. Florists need to provide consumers with the floricultural products and services that meet the trends and to blend them with their own sensitivity. It is also needed to select SNS media suitable for each gender and age group and to apply effective marketing methods to each target.

The aim of this study was to evaluate the competency of the Easyperio test, a genetic test method based on real time PCR for the detection of bacteria that cause dental caries and periodontal disease. To verify the validity of this text, various dental health evaluations were administered to 33 boys between the ages of 12 to 14, as this age group commonly experiences dental caries. These evaluations included a dental caries experience survey, a first molar health evaluation, the Dentocult Streptococcus mutans (SM) strip mutans, the Dentocult Lactobacillus spp (LB) test, and the Easyperio test. The correlation coefficients between the level of the Dentocult SM strip mutans and the dental caries experience were DT (R=0.570, p=0.001), DMFT (R=0.376, p=0.031), and first molar health (R=-0.395, p=0.023). The correlation coefficients between the amount of SM in the Easyperio test and dental caries experience were DT (R=0.528, p=0.002), DMFT (R=0.369, p=0.035), and first molar health (R=-0.426, p=0.013). The correlation coefficients between the level of the dentocult SM strip mutans and the SM amounts of the Easyperio test were S.mi (R=0.564 p=0.001) and S.mu (R=0.621, p=0.002). The correlation coefficients between the level of the Dentocult LB test and the SM amount of Easyperio test was S.mi (R=0.495, p=0.003). In conclusion, Easyperio test may be an easy and effective method for the differentiation and diagnosis of dental caries through quantitative and qualitative analysis of oral bacteria.

This study collected basic data for the design of and research and development for golf wear with an eye toward various consumer needs such as design, activity, function, comfort, and durability as requirements for golf wear. 64 men and women in their 40s, 50s, and 60s were surveyed on the state of wearing golf wear and their satisfaction of the garments. As a result, it was confirmed that the quality of golf wear participants currently possessed did not sufficiently satisfy the research group consumers. Therefore, research and development of golf wear for these consumers should be advanced, while considering reasonable price, age-appropriate design, pattern development, and material selection with keeping in mind the intended activity level as well as comfort. It was thought that the development of functional golf wear would contribute to more comfortable golf activities.
