Performance of Squeeze Film Damper Using Magneto-Rheological Fluid (MR유체를 이용한 스퀴즈필름 댐퍼의 응답특성)

  • This paper presents the property of the Squeeze Film Damper (SFD) using Magneto-Rheological fluid (MR fluid). The damping property of a SFD for a flexible rotor system varied according to vibration mode. MR fluid is known as a functional fluid with controllable apparent viscosity of the fluid by applied magnetic field strength. When the MR fluid is applied in the SFD, the SFD using MR fluid can effectively reduce vibrations of the flexible rotor in a wide range of rotating speed by control of the applied magnetic field strength. To investigate in detail the SFD using MR fluid, the SFD to support one mass was constructed and its performance was experimentally investigated in the present study. The damping property of the SFD using MR fluid has viscous damping by Newtonian fluid, but not Coulomb friction by Bingham fluid. Therefore, The system damped by the SFD can be considered as a linear system.

  • In this study, there are kind of property experiments like fluidity, compressive strength, bleeding measurement, concrete sink for CFT use high fluidity concrete. The property difference between before transmit and after transmit concrete in the mock up test with ready mixed concrete equipment is examined. The variable factors in mock up are diaphragm existence and nonexistence, diaphragm placing hole sizes. To investing the concrete Property under diaphragm, concrete packing ability, hydration heat, core specimen strength tests are performed.

  • This research is the basical experiment for designing kVp meter using the photo-conductive property of Amorphous Selenium. At first, we charged the surface with A re discharge method, and changed the formed surface potential voltage by x-raying on that surface. As a result the variations of the surface charge increased by the rising kVp, while maintaining a constant exposure time and mA. We become to know that we can apply the photoconductive property of Amorphous Selenium in designing kVp meter.

  • A continuous variable structure system control as a DC servomotor trackhig controller is proposed for the improvement of the chattering problems. The stability property of the proposed algorithms is analyzed. The prescribed trackfiig error is gauranteed in the existence of load variations based on the stability analysis.

  • In the present paper the multiple generalized prolate spheroidal wave transform has been developed and its useful operational property has been discussed. As an application of this new transform we have considered the non-homogeneous cubical region. The source of heat generation lies inside it and is dependent upon temperature, and the conductivity is variable.

  • This paper presents a constructing theory of variable arithmetic operation systems for computing multiplications and multiplicative inverse in GF(2**m) based on a modulo operation of degree on elements in Galois fields. The proposed multiplier is composed of a zero element control part, input element conversion part, inversion circuit, and output element conversion part. These systems can reduce reasonable circuit areas due to the common use of input/output element converison parts, and the PLA and module structure provice a variable property capable of convertible uses as arithmetic operation systems over different finite fields. This type of designs gives simple, regular, expandable, and concurrent properties suitable for VLSI implementation. Expecially, the multiplicative inverse circuit proposed here is expected to offer a characteristics of the high operation speed than conventional method.

  • In this paper. the soft IP (Intellectual Property) of pipeline of 32-bit microcontroller for embedded and portable application is presented. This IP supports variable pipeline stage according to the performance that user wants. In this architecture, three pipeline stages are basically employed and extended to the five pipeline stages. To this purpose, control logic has been partitioned to reflect each pipeline stage. FPGA platform is used for rapidly prototyping the IP. This is designed using Verilog HDL

  • In this paper, a variable structure current control scheme for field-oriented induction motor drive is presented. The current controller based on space voltage vector PWM scheme consists of feedforward, decouple and variable structure control. The proposed current controller tracks reference value quickly, has robust property against parameter variation and disturbance, reduces switching frequency and improves performance of induction motor drive. Finally, the proposed current controller is verified by digital simulation

  • In this paper, Neuro-Fuzzy controller which has the characteristic of Fuzzy control and artificial Neural Network is designed A fuzzy rule to be applied is selected automatically by the allocated neurons. The neurons correspond to Fuzzy rules which are created by the expert. In order to adaptivity, the more precise modeling is implemented by error back propagation learning of adjusting the link-weight of fuzzy membership function in Neuro-fuzzy controller. The more classified fuzzy rule is used to include the property of Dual mode Method. To test the effectiveness of the algorithm designed above the experiment for DC servo motor with variable load as variable load plant is implementation.
