The World has been rapidly changing into either technological aspects or perception of those who has utilised to the corresponding informational impact. Whatever areas we have actually been involved in are strongly connected with this evolution of informational technology in one way or another. Logistics is not a exception as well as trade. Two main routes in distribution channel such as commercial and physical flow of goods, have been operating in terms of I-business. In order to activate E-trade with E-commerce, E-logistics should be utilised and emphasized in more efficient and effective manner of doing job as a facilitator. So, in this paper, it studied the role of E-logistics to make E-trade better work as well as to look into present situations in E-commerce. Then, it was identified that some facilities as 3PL or shipping company have to adopt information in their business process with a view of valued add service providers. This means those who have implemented E-Logistics activities, should be more competitive in the market, only when they provide the value-added total logistics services.

Though many have studied choosing one of the alternative ways to reach a destination, the factors such as average road speed, distance, and number of traffic signals, traffic congestion, safety, and services still presents an indisputable challenge. This paper proposes two approaches: Appropriate membership function and ambiguous rule-based approach. It aims to tackle the route choice problem faced by almost all drivers in any city. It indirectly helps in tackling the problem of traffic congestion. The proposed approach considers the preference of each driver which is determined in a flexible way like a human and stored in the driver profile. These preferences relate to the criteria for evaluating each candidate route, considering the average speed, distance, safety, and services available. An illustrative case study demonstrates the added value of the proposed approach compared to some other approaches.

사회 복잡성이 증대되면서 정보보호 기술개발의 필요성은 부각되고 있으나, 우리나라에서는 당해 산업에 대한 산업적 연구는 일천하다. 그 이유는 정보보호 산업의 중요성으로 인하여 해당 산업에 대한 논의는 무성하지만, 아직까지 정보보호 산업에 관한 정의나 분류가 불분명하기 때문이라 판단된다. 본 연구의 목적은 정보보호 산업을 정의하고 그에 따른 산업분류를 시도한 후, 우리나라 정보보호 산업의 경제파급효과를 분석함으로써 국내 정보보호 산업의 육성을 위한 기초 정책 자료를 제공하는 것이다.

The EPRCA(Enhanced Proportional Rate Control Algorithm) is one of the explicit rate control algorithm recommended by the ATM forum. EPRCA algorithm is using only two threshold to buffer change is not considered for calculating ER value. In this paper to cover the shortage, two more variables are added for considering increase of buffer quantity. So calculating proper ER would avoid before getting into the congestion situation. To analysis the affect, EPRCA and proposed algorithm are compared through simulation by analysis of change of buffer length and ACR change

This paper gives an overview of the recent changes of global strategy that was put in place to support the development of a railway command / control system for the railway interoperability, The paper also outlines current projects regarding the future extension of railway management system and compares the train control system. This should enable the integration of operational, train command / control, traffic management, infrastructure and fleet management, and customer value-added services providing relevant information.

In this paper, we present a method which can minimize distortion from desired signal in thoracic sound signal processing. We firstly chose the proper wavelet mother function to reduce noise components. Secondly, we chose a clean thoracic sound, then added Gaussian noise and 3 step(10, 15, 20db) uniform noise to it. Finally, the various wavelet functions are applied for noise cancellation. To evaluate the efficiency of this study, we computed SNR and RSE value. Then we found the optimal mother wavelet function for thoracic sound.

Vehicular Ad hoc Networks have attracted extensive attentions in recent years for their promises in improving safety and enabling other value-added services. Security and privacy are two integrated issues in the deployment of vehicular networks. Privacy-preserving authentication is a key technique in addressing these two issues. Active sensors are rapidly conquering a share on the remote sensing market and offer among others new possibilities toward automatically acquiring 3D building data. Better dissemination of information about new technological developments can possibly be achieved by short distance-learning courses. The paper describes the didactic and technical aspects of a course we have designed and conducted on airborne laser scanning and interferometric SAR. The building extraction application is a good example to illustrated the added value of short electronic-learning courses above simply publishing (digital) papers.

Recently, automobile industry expands from mechatronics area through intelligent information area, and the telematics technology is one of the greatest developing points. The telematics is utilizing the on-board-unit of vehicle's communication system, and it provides necessary information and value-added service to vehicles as well as drivers. Most of the telematics offers the solution of searching a route or generates an optimal path. This paper investigates telematics with the logistics point of view, such as freight location tracking, vehicle emergency information, etc. The telematics is a core technology of automobile industry, and it becomes new business paradigm of IP(information provider). Especially, ETA(estimated arrival time) of freight and distribution tracing information are critical issues in the logistics industry. The successful integration with telematics is introduced in the paper.
