G-ASPOO-L: The Technopreneurship-Based Supply Chain Management Model for Souvenirs MSMEs to Reach Customer Value Creation

  • Purpose: The purpose of this research is to identify and design a model for the integration between marketing and supply chain management (SCM) of technopreneurship-based souvenirs MSMEs to fulfil customer value creation. Research design, data and methodology: This research method uses the system development life cycle method. This study draws its insights and conclusions from a literature review in several fields followed by an interactive research approach that helps identify, validate, and implement a theoretical framework so that the modelling results can be adopted in applicative manner for souvenir MSMEs. Result: Implementing the "G-ASPOO-L" supply chain management integration model based on technopreneruship to fulfil value creation in the 5.0 society era created three perspectives: an inter-functional perspective, a process perspective, and an integrated business concept perspective. The supply chain management involves enterprise integration, strategic customer integration, strategic supplier integration, and marketing strategy integration. Conclusion: The proposed model framework leads to managerial problems of supply chain management strategy, which urgently requires an interaction approach that challenges the traditional view of demand creation and implementation of supply chain management to fulfil value creation. This research leverages existing knowledge and advances our understanding of the strategic integration issues companies face in digital-based competition.

  • Information technology is changing the business value chain and business systems. This situation is due to the business value chain and the value creation factors in business. Technology companies and researchers are developing new businesses, but many companies and researchers cannot find successful ways to analyze and develop a business in a specific way. In this paper, first, the value creation motive in business is analyzed through a literature review. Second, business attributes are analyzed, while considering the value creation motive and the business factors in management. Finally, the business attributes of information technology are studied through a review of previous research papers on this topic.

  • The authors map some of the current Business Models in the Massively Multiplayer Online Player scenario. These maps represent Value Creation Systems by resorting to Value Net constructs and notations, and are offered here as a proof of concept and utility. The authors claim that these mappings can enable readers, managers and IT experts, to build new insights onto such Business Models and develop requirements for Information System infrastructure. When approaching the Value Creation System as a Value Net the goal is to think outside the conceptual box of Value Chains and understand how the different activities interact, by exposing the multiplicity of value types and flows. In doing this study the authors are attempting to synthesize a new Business Model proposal that could underlie the development of an infrastructure for the collaborative creation, distribution and exploration of online massively multiplayer games, beyond the traditional producer-consumer roles.

Sponsored Online Community Types and Participant's Perceived Value

  • The growth of social media has enabled firms to create virtual organizations (online communities) in which value can be co-created with members. Yet, current typologies of firm-sponsored online communities focus either on the firm or participants, and not the interaction between them. This paper provides a systematic review of the online community literature from 2000 to 2018 to develop an understanding of the types of firm-sponsored online communities and the co-creation of value within them. Four types of sponsored online communities are found. These can be differentiated based on the output for the sponsoring firm and the level of self-organization of the communities. This study contributes to the discussion of value co-creation by (i) shedding light on differences among firm-sponsored online community types based on the level and nature of interaction within an online community; and (ii) examining the perceived value co-created through community interactive experiences.

공동가치창출을 위한 플랫폼 개념모델 (The Conceptual Model for a Co-creation Platform)

  • 경영의 새로운 패러다임으로 기업과 소비자를 넘어 모든 이해관계자들이 함께 공동으로 협력하여 새로운 가치를 창출하는 Co-creation이 부각되고 있다. 공동으로 새로운 가치를 창출하기 위해서는 기업과 다양한 이해관계자들의 소통이 중요하다. 사실 기업은 소비자와의 소통을 위해 인터넷, SNS 등의 IT 기술을 활용하여 보다 효과적으로 Co-creation을 실현하기 위해 노력하고 있다. 그러나 아직까지 Co-creation을 위해 기업마다 개별적인 웹사이트나 SNS를 활용하고 있어 체계적인 관리가 어렵고 IT 기술에 대한 중복투자의 우려도 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 사례분석을 통해 Co-creation을 더욱 쉽고 편리하게 활용할 수 있도록 Co-creation 플랫폼 개념모델을 제시하였고 이를 전문가 검증을 통해 수정 보완 하였다. 본 연구는 플랫폼에 필요한 요구사항 및 기능들을 제시하여 Co-creation 플랫폼의 설계를 위한 기초자료를 제공하였다는 점에서 공헌도가 있다.

  • 서비스 전달과정에서 나타날 수 있는 고객가치창출행동은 기업의 성과나 고객만족, 서비스 품질 등과 같은 중요한 결과에 영향을 미치는 것으로 알려져 왔기 때문에 마케팅 영역에서 많은 연구들이 진행되어 온 반면, 대부분의 연구가 서비스 제공자와 고객 간의 상호작용에 초점을 두고 있다. 하지만 고객가치창출행동은 서비스 기업과 관련된 다른 고객에 대한 다양한 고객의 행동들을 포함하고있기 때문에 이런 유형의 고객 행동을 연구하기 위해서는 고객과 고객 간에 발생할 수 있는 상호작용 유형들과 관련해서 고려해야 할 필요성이 있다고 볼 수 있다. 이에 본 연구는 서비스 환경 내에서 고객과 고객 간의 상호작용 요인인 사회적지지, 사회적 상호작용, 유사성이 브랜드 애착과 자발적 가치창출행동에 미치는 영향을 검증하기 위하여 연구모형을 설정하였으며, 변수들 간의 관계를 검증하였다. 이에 대한 연구결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 가설을 검증한 결과 고객과 고객 간의 상호작용 요인이 브랜드 애착에 미치는 영향과 브랜드 애착이 고객의 자발적 가치창출행동에 미치는 영향과 관련된 가설은 모두 채택되었다. 이에 대한 구체적인 내용은 다음과 같다. 첫 번째, 사회적 지지와 사회적 상호작용, 유사성은 브랜드애착에 정(+)의 영향을 미치고 있다는 가설은 연구를 통해 검증되어 통계적으로 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 두 번째, 브랜드 애착은 고객의 자발적 가치창출행동인 정보공유행동, 도움행동, 제안행동에 모두 정(+)의 영향을 미칠 것이라는 가설 또한 통계적으로 유의한 것으로 검증되었다. 따라서 본 연구의 결과는 서비스 비즈니스에서 경쟁우위가 될 수 있는 고객의 브랜드 애착과 자발적이고 자유재량적인 가치창출행동을 유발하기 위해서는 고객과 고객 간의 긍정적인 상호작용 및 친화성 관리가 중요하다는 것을 제안하고 있으며, 이와 관련된 이론적, 실무적 시사점을 제공할 것으로 기대된다.

가치창출형 식스시그마를 위한 개선의 기회 정의에 관한 연구 (A Study on Defining Improvement Opportunities for Value Creating Six Sigma)

  • Six sigma has been evolved into three generations. The first generation focused on eliminating or reducing defects as Motorola originally developed and applied. The second generation focused on reducing costs and improving process efficiency as GE extended the first generation. The next generation of six sigma such as D2MAIC(Discovery, Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) and ICRA(Innovate, Configure, Realize, Attenuate) has been discussed since the beginning of the 21st century. Although the third generation of six sigma emphasizes value creation, but there are few specific tools for its implementation. In this thesis, some tools for finding opportunities for value creation are suggested. It is explained and discussed with examples how the tools can be applied.

  • As the importance of customers has been emphasized, most companies began to operate various CRM strategies to understand and manage customers' needs. The investments that businesses are making are categorized into four areas. The first area of investments is in contact centers and channels to manage the voice of customers. The second area is in loyalty management, target marketing using segmentation, profiling, profitability analysis and targeting. The third one is involved in the measurement of customer satisfaction. The last one is planning to deliver products and services to appropriate customers. Despite the various efforts, it is lowering the efficiency of these investments and interrupting their value creation that these are being operated independently in different departments. All CRM activities of an enterprise should be processed interactively and consistently for a common goal; value creation, to overcome these shortcomings. In this research, we propose CS Road Map that systematizes the four kinds of CRM activities; VOC management, survey activities, loyalty management and planning. Under this road map, these four activities will achieve the improvement of service qualities, customer satisfaction and further value creation. This paper demonstrates the road map that is built for a service industry emphasizing the objectives and strategies of the four categories.

The Impact of Distribution Competence on Customer Value Creation, Competitive Advantage and Performance of Retailers in Omni-channel: A Case in Vietnam

  • Purpose: Distribution competence plays a key role in supply chain management. A successful distribution system will bring high values and profit for company. Omni-channel is a modern type of distribution which is used by many companies to access customers more effectively. This research is about the influence of distribution competence on customer value creation, competitive advantage and business performance of retailers in omni-channel. Research design, data and methodology: Questionnaires were issued to 200 managers who have experiences in using an Omni-channel to provide consumer goods. PLS-SEM is used to check the relationship among these above factors in omni-channel in Vietnam context. Results: Distribution competence has positive direct effect on business performance. At the same time, it has positive indirect effect on business performance through the mediating role of customer value creation and competitive advantage. Moreover, the role of mediating variables make contribution to strengthen the relationship of distribution competence and business performance in omni-channel. Conclusions: Through distribution competence, retailers can get competitive advantage, create more values for customers and increase business performance in omni channel in Vietnam.
