The major purpose of this study was to design a external metadata which fit domestic demands of the digital maps. For designing a standard external metadata reflecting the current trends of the international organizations on standardization, a prelimenary study was made mainly concentrating on the analysis of the standards of the developed countries. For better assessing domestic needs, all the metadata related material of the National Geography Institute were collected and classified based on the NGI's workflow. The external metadata draft was made considering the results from the analysis of the existing NGI material and the draft was also cited some major cores from the ISO standards. Continuous efforts should be made in the future to update the metadata draft based on the opinions from domestic users and the technical trends of the international organizations on standardization.

Under the ambiguous situation that Id character design aim is not defined, this study would help designers with 1. overcoming the limitation of character form generation ability by establishing visual application system, 2. accepting users'opinions by generating character images dynamically, analysing and giving information on the preferred ones on the web on real time, 3. identifying tendency of preference so that they can generate preferred colors and images in future by updating image combination and dropping low-preferred ones. this system would play a role as an idea or character form generation application in the 3d character design development process

Production of reanalysis data is important since it contributes to develop all fields of atmospheric sciences and to profit national economy. The developed countries such as USA, EU, and Japan have manufactured the global reanalysis data since the 1990s, but their data present a lack of detailed regional climates. For those who need to analyze the regional climate in/around Korea, a high-resolution reanalysis data should essentially be made. This study reviewed the existing reanalysis data and the applications, and the available observations for the data production. We also investigated the opinions and needs of the potential data users in Korea. We suggest the specifications of the data to have the domain of 55-5N, 80-150E (which includes Mongolia and most Southeast Asian countries), the spatial resolution of 10-20 km, and the period of most recent 30 years. With the specifications and climate models operated in KMA, this study argues that production of the reanalysis data with functional climate information is feasible in both technical and economic aspects. Finally, for successful data production, the framework of the future reanalysis data project was suggested.

The purpose of this study is to examine the necessity of 'emergency plumbing equipment for preventing the spread of water leakage'. It reviews social and economic costs when there is spread of water leakage and finds out that those are enormous. Expansion of water leakage causes conflicts between neighbors, economic loss and inconvenience from damages on facilities like elevator and power failure. Next, it examines the inability of existing plumbing equipment when it comes to spread of water leakage. Newly defined 'Surface Leakage' means rapid leak in the surface, and 'Internal Leakage' means seeping out slowly and gradually buried in the pipeline. It will also be analyzed by separating the concept of a leak in the two concepts of a 'Surface Leakage' and 'Internal Leakage'. It proposes emergency plumbing equipment for preventing the spread of water leakage as a solution for the expansion of water leakage. It explains general concepts of emergency plumbing equipment for preventing the spread of water leakage. It will also examine the effectiveness of the user by performing a survey of 420 multi-level building their opinion on the effects of an emergency plumbing equipments to prevent the spread of water leakage.

Due to development of smart and network technologies, social network service (SNS) has become popular in daily life. With increasing use of SNS, the scope of communication has been widened. Lots of activities can be easily shared daily on SNS. Differing with opinions about more activated communication on SNSs, some people have viewpoints that, in some cases, communications may be decreased among SNS users. This research is to investigate whether there may be the differences among generations in the social network age. Major concerns of study are as follows. First, there may be differences in age related to the decrease of communication activities. On the other hand, there may be differences among generations related to the increase of communication. Two research steps have been adopted that the FGI (focus group interview) was to understand. Defining actual communication status was the first step, and an empirical approach, a survey to verify hypotheses, was performed as the second step. Key findings of the study were that older generations perceived communication has been decreased. Research results can provide implications regarding characteristics of SNS communication.

With the development of the Internet environment, various types of online reviews are being generated and exchanged among consumers to share their opinions. In line with this trend, companies are making efforts to analyze online reviews and use the results in various business activities such as marketing, sales, and product development. However, research on online review in industry related to 'Video Game' which is representative experience goods has not been performed enough. Therefore, this study analyzed STEAM community review data using machine learning techniques. We analyzed the factors affecting the opinion of other users' game review. We also propose managerial implications to incease user loyalty and usability.

The advanced planning and scheduling(APS) is an well known enterprise information system that provides optimal production schedules and supports to complete production on time by solving the complex scheduling problems including capacity and due dates. In this paper, we focused on the improvement of the APS that is already established on a real company. The existing APS had several drawbacks, thus utilization and satisfaction were very low. We performed the focused group interviews and the process analysis and could find that the end users and developers have various objectives and the frequently used functions are different. We applied the analytical hierarchy process(AHP) to converge opinions of them on quantitative data. The results show that it is necessary to enhance visibility, to improve user interfaces and response speed, and to reconcile the real business process and the APS's process.

Forest service government has been prepared a Forest welfare voucher service system base on published law on th Promotion Welfare Forest. The purpose of this research is study on domestic situation and set on direction of voucher service before started it. In particular, voucher service will be implemented to Forest service government's recreation facilities area, awareness of voucher service system of its users and operators need to be reveal, and also other government's similar voucher operator's opinions also investigate. From those results, it find out introduction factors of forest welfare services voucher system. Recognition investigating survey result shows that the ordinary people are interested in programs, the forest recreation experts are interested in 'Construction and utilization of forest infrastructure', other voucher's experts are interested in 'Training', and ordinary people are interested in 'voucher programs'. So each respondents' results are different in important factors of introducing welfare service voucher system.

Purpose: This aims to find a strategic plan for the feasibility study of a medical center extension project in order for local public medical institutions to obtain public interest and profitability through a survey of residents. Research design, data and methodology: The structured questionnaire was distributed at random, and a total of 219 people responded as users or patients responded to the questionnaire in a self-filling manner. Through this questionnaire, the feasibility and necessity of the extension of Gangneung Medical Center(GMC) was measured. All data processing was analyzed by applying version 26.0 of IBM SPSS statistical package program. The main contents of the questionnaire included reasons for using GMC, inconveniences, overall level of medical care, satisfaction, intention to revisit, the necessity of GMC's complex ward extension project, and GMC consisted of 8 questionnaires, including the desired service for the extension of the complex ward. Results: As for the necessity of the GMC complex ward extension project, 95.9% of residents said they wanted the complex ward extension project, 2.3% said it was not necessary, and the remaining 1.8% had other opinions. Conclusions: GMC complex ward extension project is necessary.

Purpose Recently, 3D factory simulation technology has emeged as a powerful tool for modeling and analysis of a wide range of production systems, however, it has been not paid much attention in Korea. In this context, this paper aims to provide a comprehensive literature review on discrete event simulation softwares and introduce a promising 3D factory simulation software called FlexSim and its application domains. Design/methodology/approach In order to demonstrate worldwide popularity and technical superiority of FlexSim software, we analyzed the recent list of rankings for commercial discrete simulation softwares released by winter simulation conference and users' opinions collected from business software review site. Moreover, several main application domains are derived from a review of the previous research papers that deal with applications of FlexSim software. Findings FlexSim software recently moved up the list of major commercial simulation softwares, and technical superiorities of the software demonstrate that it is a promising tool for practical 3D factory simulation. Moreover, recent research papers suggest that FlexSim software can be used as a component of smart factory system. In this context, it is expected that FlexSim software becomes more popular in the era of industry 4.0.
