In the future, the ubiquitous computing environment will provide users with context-aware services, intelligently interacting with omnipresent resources and surrounding environments at any location and time. Therefore, the ubiquitous computing environment requires context-aware applications in order to gather and analyze context information in various situations. However, existing context-aware applications have mainly focused on providing services and adapting themselves to users based on user related contexts. But this environment requires not only user related contexts but also Quality-of-Service (QoS) related contexts. In this paper we propose a frame-work for supporting user-oriented QoS in ubiquitous environments. The proposed approach adopts a semantic ontology and a neural network algorithm in order to reason about explicit and uncertain contexts. We also show the possibility of applying the framework to real environments such as collaborative engineering service, automobile maintenance service and ubiquitous home service.

A single line diagram is a graphic user interface to represent electrical connectivity between power equipments in distribution automation systems. This paper proposes a new single line auto-drawing technique based on the service oriented architecture. Web service, CIM(Common Information Model) and SVG(Scalable Vector Graphics) are adopted to implement SOA concept. A web service demo system was established which is configured with the service provider, consumer and broker to verify the feasibility of this study.

디지털 방송 서비스가 시작되고, 기존의 방송 서버에서 사용자에게 방송 콘텐츠를 제공하는 단 방향 방송이 아닌 통신망을 이용하여 사용자가 방송 서버에 정보를 전달하는 양 방향 방송서비스가 가능해졌다. 이에 사용자는 개인이 원하는 장면을 원하는 시간대에 시청하는 맞춤형 방송 서비스에 대한 요구가 생겨나게 되었다. 이러한 맞춤형 방송 서비스에서는 사용자가 입력한 데이터를 바탕으로 검색하기 위한 메타데이터 정보가 중요하다. 본 연구는 기존의 사용자가 원하는 장면별로 시청하는 맞춤형 방송 서비스에서 원하는 장면 뿐 만 아니라 사용자가 보고 싶은 객체를 원하는 카메라 시점에서 시청할 수 있는 객체 중심의 맞춤형 영상미디어 서비스를 위한 메타데이터에 관리 모듈에 대한 연구이다. 본 연구를 통하여 기존의 맞춤형 방송 서비스에 없었던 객체에 대한 세그먼트 정보를 제공해 줌으로써 사용자에게 시청의 폭을 넓혀 시청 만족도를 높일 수 있다.

The intelligent railway operation information architecture is to provide the railway passengers with the intermodal transportation information service. The purpose of the information architecture is to suggest the information service architecture of the intermodal transportation structurally. First, the architect procedure is to analysis the user requirements and according to these requirements, is to make the description of service requirements. Then secondly, it decides the service items and based of these items, it is to construction of service architecture. Finally, service package provide an accessible, deployment oriented perspective to intelligent railway operation information architecture

유비쿼터스 환경에서 사람들은 자신과 주변 환경의 변화에 따라 서비스들이 능동적으로 변하기를 기대한다. 스트리밍 서비스에서 이런 기대를 만족시키기 위해서는 사용자의 이동에 따라 다양한 단말기로 자유롭게 이동할 수 있는 기술과 개인화된 스트리밍 푸시 기술이 필요하다. 이에 본 논문에서는 사용자 정의 컨텍스트와 스트림뷰를 기반으로 유비쿼터스 스트리밍 서비스를 제공하는 U-Stream을 설계하고 구현하였다. 스트리밍 서비스 이동에 따른 컨텍스트를 분류하고 사용자에게 일부 컨텍스를 설정하게 함으로 개발자들의 예상의 의해 획일적으로 실행되는 서비스에서 벗어나 사용자 중심의 개인화된 서비스를 제공한다.

웹 서비스는 네트워크 및 관련 표준을 통하여 운영체제 및 프로그램 언어에 제한을 받지 않고 상호 운영이 가능하도록 해주는 표준화된 소프트웨어 기술로써 서비스를 제공, 발견하여 다양한 서비스를 이용할 수 있게 해주는 분산 컴퓨팅 서비스이다. 웹 서비스의 검색 방법은 기능적 측면만을 고려해 서비스 선정 시 사용자 위주의 검색에 한계점을 가지고 있다. 이러한 문제점을 개선하기 위해 본 연구에서는 IoT 정보 자동생성 도구를 제안하여 웹 서비스 검색 시 IoT 확장 정보를 제공하여 사용자에게 적합한 서비스를 선정할 수 있도록 문제점을 개선한다. 제안하는 IoT 확장 정보 자동생성 도구는 사용자, 사물, 서비스로 구성된 세 가지 요소가 분산된 환경에서 상호 자율적으로 협업하여 Sensing, networking, 정보처리 등에서 발생하는 다양한 정보를 수집 저장한다. 사용자에 의해 생성된 정보를 웹 서비스 검색 시 확장정보로 제공함으로써 사용자에 적합한 서비스 검색을 지원한다. 제안방법은 4차 산업 분야 전반에 걸쳐 적용됨으로 다양한 환경의 요구사항에 맞는 사용자 정의 서비스를 제공 할 수 있다.

The purpose of the study was to identify user' satisfaction about universal design in public service center that will be needed for helping planning and design the public service center. This study conducted a questionnaire survey targeting visitor in five district's public service center in Gwangju metropolitan city. A total of 253 responses were analyzed for identifying the level of satisfaction about universal design in public service center. The study also analyzed of the respondents depending on their demographic characteristics. The features of universal design were categorized into supportive design, communicability, safety-oriented design and accessible design, and total 25 specific items were included in the evaluation. Most of the respondents were satisfied with the waiting space, however they showed a lower level of satisfaction toward the information materials space. Those with a higher education attainment tended to be associated with stronger satisfaction with common space and information materials space. Groups with a lower age were more likely to be satisfied with common space and public service space. Also female tended to show a stronger degree of satisfaction with common space than male. The findings from this study should provide a guideline for planning and design the public service center.

Coupled schemes between service-oriented architecture (SOA) and Web 2.0 have recently been researched. Web-based content providers and telecommunications company (Telecom) based Internet protocol television (IPTV) providers have struggled against each other to accommodate more three-screen service subscribers. Since the advent of Web 2.0, more abundant reproduced content can be circulated. However, because according to increasing device's resolution and content formats IPTV providers transcode content in advance, network bandwidth, storage and operation costs for content management systems (CMSs) are wasted. In this paper, we present a user centric CMS for open IPTV, which integrates SOA and Web 2.0. Considering content popularity based on a Zipf-like distribution to solve these problems, we analyze the performance between the user centric CMS and the conventional Web syndication system for normalized costs. Based on the user centric CMS, we implement a social Web TV with device-aware function, which can aggregate, transcode, and deploy content over social networking service independently.

The contemporary concept of publicness is reinterpreted from the point of view of contemporary publicness. Contemporary perception of public space has now branched and grown into a multitude of non-traditional sites with a variety of programs in mind. In this study, the aim is to discuss how contemporary public library has been evolved as public space and how to create User-centered interaction. In the case of developed countries, the Public Libraries have showed the expected effects because they have more systematic and efficient plan. Also, these libraries are placed with each facility, not distributed separately. It promotes the accumulation of profit on the space and Increases the efficiency. They support more effectively users' activities through the linkages between each facility and create the active interaction between users. Formation of the various interactions and synergies between space had been induced. Publicity means that the state will relate a combination of a number of specific public area. In addition, open space, public place, shall be directed to: This place as one of the users in order to have meaning, must be equipped with the facilities and space to communicate and understand the local role. Methods of the study are to analyze the concept and role of the users with the concept of modern publicity, to examine the concept of multi-complexity of public libraries for the user-oriented publicness, to learn about the characteristics of public spaces in the public libraries that appear in the advanced countries, to examine how to affect these characteristics in the public libraries, and to suggest the possibility and the various application methods on the characteristics of a public space. In the end, the public libraries for the realization of the publicity, support program complexity such as education and culture, welfare facilities, and public service facilities. In the 21st century, these complexity to improve the quality of service in public libraries. These spaces can be an alternative to be kept comfortable in a more vibrant area, and can affect the social, natural, cultural, and environmental aspects of the physical environment and the objects and relationships, as well as expand.

본 논문은 사용자를 지향한 스마트워크 시스템 기반의 한국형 스마트워크센터 설계 및 구축방안을 제안한다. 한국의 정보통신기술의 강점을 토대로 사용자를 위해 법제도의 개선과 근무방식의 변화 그리고 정보보안의 강화 방안을 연구 하였고, 우리 정부의 계획과 선진국의 사례를 분석하여 한국의 실정과 효율성을 고려한 한국형 스마트워크 센터를 제안했고, 본 논문에서 제안한 사용자 중심의 스마트워크 서비스 플랫폼은 상황인지와 실감형 스마트워크 협업 환경을 통해 국가적 현안을 해결하고 지식산업 및 창조기업 인프라를 구축하고자 한다. 그 결과 스마트워크는 지식근로자들이 창의적인 업무를 창출하고, 국가 경쟁력을 향상 시킬 수 있는 업무환경을 제공하기 위한 방안을 제시했다. 그 결과 성능평가에서도 미국, 일본, EU에서 제안한 스마트워크 시스템의 만족도 조사에서 5개국의 5개 항목 평균값이 55.23%인 반면 한국형은 75.41%로 한국형 스마트워크센터가 외국의 사례보다 20.18% 우수한 것으로 증명되었다.
