Design of Infringement Accidents Preventing System Using DNS Information Retrieval Integration Method (DNS 정보 검색 연동 기법을 이용한 침해 사고 예방 시스템 설계)

  • Recently the flow of information security has become a user-centered change. This is mostly breach of security by the normal and abnormal entering harmful files during user internet. Therefore, we would like to design security system that breach of security can be prevented in advance to improve using the reliability of DNS and system control in this paper. In other words, we would like to suggest method can be block randomly to access the site which information security system of user-centric is breached harmful files infected in user computer.

Interactive Case Study on Fashion Media: Focused on Showstudio's Fashion Projects (패션 미디어에 나타난 상호작용 사례 연구: 쇼스튜디오(Showstudio)의 패션프로젝트를 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study is to consider the interactivity which appeared on the fashion media that focus on Showstudio's fashion projects. Showstudio is a famous fashion site that was founded by the famous photographer, Nick Knight, which has displayed interactive projects with fashion designers and artists. The methods of this study are undertaken by theoretical studies and project analysis. The 38 projects under the 'interactive' category are being chosen among archive data and the project explanations, photos and videos provided from the site are studied. Interactivity of fashion projects in Showstudio is considered by main factors such as two-way communication, participation, user control, and responsiveness. Two-way communication appears as transactional communication in the creation process and feedbacks from contents of users. The characteristic of participation appears as participation in the creation process and the practical use of contents. User control appears as control of contents, user interface and streaming media systems. The characteristic of responsiveness appears as real time and synesthesia responsiveness between the user and contents. Showstudio show free communication through digital information transmit system and also indicate the opportunity of innovative interactions among users, media, and contents.

  • To satisfy the requirements for QoS and acceptance ratio of the users using multimedia content service, it is required to control mechanism for QoS assurance and allocation of the stream server' resources based on CoS(Class of Service). To compare performance of the algorithm, we have classified the user by two classes (super class, base class) and control the acceptance ratio of user's requests by user's class information. We have experimented the test of network resources and test of processing time under server/client environment and agent environment. MA-URFA based on agent increases the acceptance ratio of super class and utilization ratio of network resources.

  • The recent technological developments of smart devices, multiple services are provided to enhance the users' quality of life including smart city, smart energy, smart car, smart healthcare, smart home, and so on. Academia and industries try to provide the users with convenient services upon seamless technological research and developments. Also, whenever and wherever a variety of services can be used without any limitation on the place and time upon connecting with different types of devices. However, security weaknesses due to integrations of multiple technological elements have been detected resulting in the leakage of user information, account hacking, and privacy leakage, threats to people's lives by device operation have been raised. In this paper, safer communication framework is suggested by device control and user authentication in the mobile network environment. After implementations of registration and authentication processes by users and devices, safe communication protocol is designed based on this. Also, renewal process is designed according to the safe control of the device. In the performance evaluation, safety was analyzed on the attack of protocol change weakness occurred in the existing system, service halt, data leakage, illegal operation control of message, and so on, which confirmed the enhanced speed approximately by 8% and 23% in the communication and verification parts, respectively, compared to the existing system.

  • Natural user interface (NUI) is used for the natural motion interface without using a specific device or tool like a mouse, keyboards, and pens. Recently, as non-contact sensor-based interaction technologies for recognizing human motion, gestures, voice, and gaze have been actively studied, an environment has been prepared that can provide more diverse contents based on various interaction methods compared to existing methods. However, as the number of sensors device is rapidly increasing, the system using a lot of sensors can suffer from a lack of computational resources. To address this problem, we proposed a real-time multi-device control system for natural interactive platform. In the proposed system, we classified two types of devices as the HC devices such as high-end commercial sensor and the LC devices such astraditional monitoring sensor with low-cost. we adopt each device manager to control efficiently. we demonstrate a proposed system works properly with user behavior such as gestures, motions, gazes, and voices.

  • Advent of the distributed computing has contributed to the rapid distribution of information technology throughout the organization. While powerful and user-friendly information technology are more available to end users, managing the distributed, heterogeneous IT environment has become a serious problem for corporate IT managers. Integrated Control Architecture (ICA) enables the monitoring and controlling of the dispersed information resources for effective enterprise-wide information resource management. This paper empirically examines the propositions that the level of information resource control is positively related to IS effectiveness measured in user satisfaction. Measures are developed and validated for the control of information resource object such as data, application, platform, and control of relationships among such objects. Results from a study of 130 organizations support that the organizations with high information resource control exhibit user satisfaction.

  • An automatic control system is proposed and implemented for a miniaturized DNA extraction system using magnetic bead. A host-local system is employed for the accommodation of the graphical user interface and the basic control function. The functional partitioning into the local and the host system is discussed. The control functions are classified and formalized for the flexible control scenario, which is the input of the proposed system. As the proposed scenario is consists of the sequence of the user-centric actions, the user goal can be easily programmed and modified. The DNA extraction performance of the implemented system was compared with the existing silica-membrane-based method, resulting in the comparable concentration and purity of the extracted DNA. The proposed system is currently being utilized for the development of the DNA extraction system only changing scenario, without any alteration of the system.

  • Recently, Signage technology is widely used for advertisements and promotional announcements located on the rooftop or around large buildings and near the roads as well. In addition in many places it is installed and operational financially costly because it uses a lot of energy to control the advertising images. Smart Signage technology developed interaction between the user and the possible need in signage. In this paper, we propose a specific user distance image control technologies that can be used in smart signage. Also, to control the content according to the user whether or provide a technique for controlling the display. Designing technology for it, and the performance was verified by implementing them.

A CASA-Based Dynamic Access Control Scheme for Ubiquitous Environments (유비쿼터스 환경을 위한 CASA 기반의 동적 접근 제어 기법)

  • Conventional context-aware service models permit the access of resources only by user authentication, but the ubiquitous environments where the context information around users is changing frequently require the resource access control according to the rapid changes. This paper proposes a scheme to control access permission of resource dynamically as context information of user changes. Our access control model is based on traditional CASA (Context-Aware Security Architecture), but can restrict the access of the user already has been authorized. With the real-time checking of context information, our scheme gives different access controls according to changes in environmental information, and provides more secure services than conventional context-aware models.

Design of a User-Friendly Control System using Least Control Parameters (최소 제어 인자 도출을 통한 사용편의성 높은 제어시스템 설계)

  • An electric motor is the one of the most important parts in robot systems, which mainly drives the wheel of mobile robots or the joint of manipulators. According to the requirement of motor performance, the controller type and parameters vary. For the wheel driving motors, a speed tracking controller is used, while a position tracking controller is required for the joint driving motors. Moreover, if the mechanical parameters are changed or a different motor is used, we might have to tune again the controller parameters. However, for the beginners who are not familiar about the controller design, it is hard to design pertinently. In this paper, we develop a nominal robust controller model for the velocity tracking of wheel driving motors and the position tracking of joint driving motors based on the disturbance observer (DOB) which can reject disturbances, modeling errors, and dynamic parameter variations, and propose the methodology for the determining the least control parameters. The proposed control system enables the beginners to easily construct a controller for the newly designed robot system. The purpose of this paper is not to develop a new controller theory, but to increase the user-friendliness. Finally, simulation and experimental verification have performed through the actual wheel and joint driving motors.
