  • 본 연구에서는 기준공시체를 이용한 측정시험을 통해 도출된 RI교정계수가 모든 노상토재료에는 적합치 않다는 판단아래 모든 종류의 성토재료에 사용이 가능하고 신뢰성있는 RI측정이 가능하도록 조립토함유율을 변화시켜 가면서 기준공시체 제작과 이에 대한 측정실험을 통해 RI 측정값의 보정방법을 제안하므로써 모든 종류의 성토재료에 RI측정이 가능하도록 하였다. 또한 일반적인 다짐관리지표로 사용되는 건조밀도 외에 다짐도와 공기함유율 및 포화도와의 상관성을 각각 분석하여 이것들이 다짐관리지표로 사용될 수 있는지에 대한 적용성을 검토하였다.

  • 본 논문은 IPTV 서비스를 제공함에 있어, 네트워크 효율성과 채널 변경 지연을 고려하는 효과적인 채널 관리 알고리즘을 제안한다. 제안하는 알고리즘은 각 채널의 타입과 각 채널을 통해 전송될 영상 데이터에 삽입할 부가적인 인트라 프레임의 개수를 조절하여, 각 사용자의 최대 평균 채널 변경 지연이 임계값 이하가 되도록 하면서 IPTV 서비스 관련 네트워크 대역폭 사용량을 최소화한다. 실험 결과에서 제안하는 알고리즘의 성능을 보인다.

USN 노드의 소비전력 절감을 위한 경로설정 기법 (A Routing Scheme for Reducing the Power Consumption of USN Nodes)

  • The ubiquitous computing system is expected to be widely utilized in digital home, logistics control, environment/disaster management, medical/health-care services and other applications. The ubiquitous sensor network (USN) is a key infra-structure of this system. Nodes in the USN are exposed to adverse environments and required to perform their missions with very limited power supply only. Also the sensor network is composed of much more nodes. In case some node consumes up its power capacity under a certain required level, the network topology should change and re-routing/ re-transmission of data is necessitated. Resultantly communication protocols studied for conventional wireless networks or ad-hoc networks are not suitable for the sensor network. Schemes should be devised to control the efficient usage of node power in the sensor network. This paper proposes a routing algorithm to enhance the efficiency of power consumption for USN node and analyzes its performance by simulation.

  • ATM망에서 트래픽의 버스트니스를 완화하기 위한 UPC(Usage Parameter Control) 알고리즘을 제안한다. 기존의 다이나믹 스페이서는 그린 토큰이 축적되어 있을 경우 도착하는 셀을 스페이서와 상관없이 네트워크로 셀을 유입시키는 동적인 스페이서 기능을 수행함으로써 CDV(Cell Delay Variation)에 의한 셀을 위반셀로 구별하지 못하고 그대로 통과시키는 단점이 있다. 즉 스페이서 기능을 사용하지 않음으로써 버스트니스해 질 수 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 버스트니스를 완화하기 위한 토큰 버킷을 다이나믹 스페이서 이전에 사용함으로써 다이나믹 스페이서의 버스트니스를 완화시키는 토큰 버킷을 적용한 다이나믹 스페이서 UPC 알고리즘을 제안한다.

  • Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) has a significant impact on business practices by eliminating paper related adult trails and enabling transactions to be processed at high speed without human intervention. Major advantages advangtages and benefits derived from EDI, however, depend upon the usage of EDI controls. Management must determine whether their investment on EDI controls is appropriate, as the establishment of EDI controls demandds much resources and high skills. This study proposes data envelopment analysis model to identify efficient and inefficient EDI control systems in various context of input (formal and automated EDI controls) and output (EDI implementation and performance). DEA can also determine the factors that are significantly different between efficient and inefficient groups. The model is tested using data collected form EDI adopters.

  • In this paper, we propose an electric circuit using one common-arm of H-Bridge inverters to reduce the number of switching components in the multi-level inverter combined with H-Bridge inverters and transformers. And furthermore, we suggested a new multi-level PWM inverter using PWM level to reduce THD (Total Harmonic Distortion). We use a phase-shift switching method that has the same rate of usage at each transformer. Also, we test the proposed prototype 9-level inverter to clarify the proposed electric circuit and reasonableness of the control signal for the proposed multi-level PWM inverter.

Train Ethernet Backbone(TEB) 구성에 따른 신뢰도 분석 (Reliability Analysis of Train Ethernet Backbone)

  • As the usage of the electric power train increases, the importance of the control network between the electric control devices grows. IEC proposed a revision of IEC-61375, a standard of the networking among electric devices within a train, to adopt Ethernet as a backbone of train network. This paper performed the reliability analysis of three configurations of Ethernet-based networking within a electric power train that are recommended in IEC-61375 standard. The analysis results show that MTTF(mean time to failure) of the redundant configuration is 20,086 hours, which is a about 3 times longer than the linear configuration.

  • In this paper presents residential PV system based on battery energy storage system for managing the electric power, a pattern of daily operation considering the load characteristic of the house, the generation characteristic of PV power, and utility power leveling. For apply to control algorithm, we consider the load on monthly power consumption trend and daily usage pattern. As for the control of the proposed system, to increase the conversion efficiency of the PV power, bidirectional converter is used for MPPT and SVPWM inverter. An experimental system is implemented, and some experimental results are provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed system.

  • Reconnaissance robots can reduce the danger of hazardous places by providing information before human personnel take action. For the usage, robot platform should be small and light. However, this fact leads to a scaling issue with terrain that landscape poses a huge obstacle for the vehicle. The problem can be solved by the inspiration of nature. This paper presents design of the locomotive mechanism inspired by Pill bugs. The mechanism was designed by the principles of a pill bug's locomotion and experiments were conducted to validate the mechanism.
