This paper proposes an adaptive resource self-management system that collects system resources, user information, and usage patterns as context information for utilization in self-configuration. This system ill ease the system maintenance burden on users by automation of large part of configuration tasks such as install, reconfiguration and update, and will also decrease cost and errors. Working from the gathered context information, this system allows users to select appropriate components and install them for user's system context. This also offers a more personalized configuration setting by using user's existing application setting and usage pattern. To avoid the overload on central server to transfer and manage related files, we employ Peer-to-Peer method. h prototype was developed to evaluate the system and a comparison study with the conventional methods of manual configuration and MS-IBM systems was conducted to validate the proposed system in terms of functional capacity, install time and etc.
This study was on the investigation of how to adapt Ethnography, main research methodology in Anthropology, to "User-Centered Design Research", which is a recently focused issue in design field. Thus, this paper has highlighted concrete application processes and methods which were adapted in the case study of developing a concept for the new microwave oven. This paper mainly consists of two parts. First, the basic concept of "Ethnography" is introduced based on secondary research, and the concept of "Culture" is defined as the favorable one to design field. This part was done for constructing knowledge basis which is needed in establishing thematicaJ framework of design research. Second, the application methods of Ethnography is demonstrated through the concrete case study of developing a new microwave oven. This second part was composed of three sub-sections, which are an introduction of conducting process of ethnographic deisgn research, a description of analyzed data of kitchen culture and various particularities of usage pattem of microwave oven, and finally, a discussion of the efficiency of ethnography through generating design implications for a new microwave oven. This demonstration of case study suggests the concrete idea of how to adapt ethnography to design research and will contribute to increase more effective ethnographic design research in the future.c design research in the future.
The objective of the present study was to determine the prevalence and type of nutritional ergogenic aids use, and to determine the frequency, reasons for use of nutritional ergogenic aids. Thirty-four male bodybuilders (mean age = 27.0 years), twenty-four male weight lifters (mean age = 20.9 years) participated in the study. Participants completed a comprehensive survey detailing their usage patterns. In this study, 78.1% of bodybuilders and 79.2% of weight lifters reported using nutritional ergogenic aids. The most frequently taken nutritional ergogenic aids, in ranking order, were protein/amino acid powders (79.4%), multivitamin/minerals (67.7%) and creatine (67.6%) for bodybuilders, in contrast to sports drinks (100.0%), protein/amino acid powders (50.5%) and creatine (50.5%) for weight lifters. Over the half of the respondents, 79.4% of bodybuilders and 50.6% of weight lifters, used protein/amino acid powders to gain muscle mass and to stay healthy. Bodybuilders, 67.6% and weight lifters, 41.7%, used multivitamin/minerals to stay healthy and for energy. The intakes of most vitamin and minerals through diet and nutritional ergogenic aids were much greater than RDA. Vitamin $B_1$, vitamin $B_2$, niacin, vitamin $B_6$ and folate intakes were ranged at 400-900%. Vitamin C intake was 1285.4% (for bodybuilders) and 1322.6% (for weight lifters). The correct answer rate of nutritional ergogenic aids was 46.0% for bodybuilders and 52.0% for weight lifters. Both bodybuilders and weight lifters took highly nutritional ergogenic aids and it tended to be taken irrespective of scientific background. Specific sport nutrition education applicable to athletes, especially strength athletes, is recommended. The findings of this investigation could be used to enable the professionals (sports dietician and physician) to identity common misconceptions regarding nutritional ergogenic aids and to implement educational programs.

Residential buildings account for a significant portion of the total building-energy usage in Korea, and a variety of research studies on the domestic boiler have therefore been carried out; however, most of these studies examined the boiler itself, whereby the part-load ratio characteristics and the corresponding gas-energy consumption patterns were not analyzed. In this study, the part-load ratio and operating characteristics of a domestic gas boiler were analyzed within a residential building equipped with a radiant floor-heating system; in addition, the energy consumption between condensing and conventional boilers was comparatively analyzed. Our results show that significant portions of the total operating hours, heating load, and energy consumption are in the part-load ratio range of 0 through 40%, whereby the energy consumption was significantly affected by the boiler efficiency under low part-load conditions. These results indicate that the part-load operation of a boiler is an important factor in residential buildings; furthermore, replacing a conventional boiler with a condensing boiler can reduce annual gas-energy usage by more than 20%.

We propose a Korean spacing-error correction system that requires small memory usage although the proposed method is a mixture of rule-based and statistical methods. In addition, to train the proposed model to be robust in mobile colloquial sentences in which spelling errors and omissions of functional words are frequently occurred, we propose a method to automatically transform typical colloquial corpus to mobile colloquial corpus. The proposed system uses statistical information of syllable uni-grams in order to increase coverages on new syllable patterns. Then, the proposed system uses error correction rules of two or more grams of syllables in order to increase accuracies. In the experiments on fake mobile colloquial sentences, the proposed system showed relatively high accuracy of 92.10% (93.80% in typical colloquial corpus, 94.07% in typical balanced corpus) spite of small memory usage of about 1MB.
Objectives: This study examined the association of the sleep quality and patterns with the dietary behavior, including snack and beverage consumption, taste preferences, as well as lifestyle of university students. Methods: The subjects were 406 university students in Cheongju, Korea, and the data were collected using a self-administered questionnaire. They were divided into two groups according to the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI): good-quality sleepers (PSQI score ≤ 5) and poor-quality sleepers (PSQI score > 5). The data were analyzed using a χ2-test, independent t-test, and analysis of covariance using the SPSS 25.0 program. Results: Fifty-two percent of university students were categorized as poor-quality sleepers by the PSQI. Students classified as poor-quality sleepers had delayed bedtimes, and a shorter duration in bed and total sleep hours than the good-quality sleepers did. Poor-quality sleepers were more prevalent among those who were female, having irregular mealtimes, or frequent late night meals. They also consumed fast food frequently, such as fried chicken and hamburgers, and noodles when adjusted for gender. In addition, drinks with caffeine over milk were dominant among poor-quality sleepers. Furthermore, the preferences for spicy and salty tastes and longer smartphone usage were more prevalent in those with poor-sleep quality. Conclusions: These results showed that more than 50% of university students reported disturbed sleep and poor quality sleep was associated with less desirable snack consumption and taste preference, more smartphone usage, and others. Therefore, nutrition education program along with lifestyle changes promoting sufficient sleep are encouraged to provide for university students, particularly those who have poor sleep quality.

Home Gateway is always on for continuous services of home networks. Ubiquitous home networks are extended. so power consumption of home gateways increases by geometric progression. Our algorithm is for home gateway to sleep, listen or wakeup according to network traffic adaptively, as well as to keep always-on service. To do this, it traces the accumulated average of previous sleep periods. In addition to this basic algorithm, we make the profiles for user's living pattern per the day to reflect network usages in detail and adaptively. As the simulation results by comparing with overall accumulated average and per-day accumulated average, in case of the overall accumulated average, the difference the estimation and real value is distributed from 0.43% to 4%. In contrast of this, in case of the per-day accumulated average is distributed from 0.06% to 2%. From this results, we know the profiling of per-day usage pattern can help reduce the difference of the real sleep period and the estimated sleep period.
We conducted this study to compare the awareness and attitude of Busan housewives about consuming marine products. The survey was conducted from April 10 to May 31, 2019 by using a questionnaire. The degree of preference of seafood was higher among individuals in their 40s than those in the other age groups. Among the women in their 30s, 40s, 50s and 70s, the reason for liking seafood was 'taste', and for those in their 60s it was 'nutrition'. Overall the most common reason for disliking seafood was the 'fishy smell (37.4%)'. Conception degree of nutritive value of seafood was higher among individuals in their 30s and 40s than that for those individuals in their 50s, 60s and 70s. As for the price of seafood, the wives over 40s thought seafood was more expensive than did those wives in their 30s. The younger the individuals were, the lower was the perceived degree of safety was 49.8% of the subjects reported that the main concern for purchase was 'freshness'. The perceived degree of safety for imported seafood was better for the wives in their 60s and 70s than that for those wives in their 30s, 40s and 50s. The confidence level for local Korean seafood was higher for the wives in their 60s than that for the wives in their 50s. The degree of preference for seafood was moderate overall, except for Jellyfish. Age was positively correlated with conception for safety and dietary attitude (P<0.01), whereas age was negatively correlated with monthly food expenditure, nutrition knowledge and intake requirements (P<0.01). Preference for seafood was positively correlated with conception for safety (P<0.05), nutrition knowledge (P<0.05), dietary attitude (P<0.01), awareness for nutritive value (P<0.01) and intake requirements (P<0.01). Laws and regulations should be reinforced in order to promote eating more seafood and periodic research to determine the actual amount of consumed seafood and people's preferences should be conducted.

Objectives : The aim of this paper is to study the methodology for effectively analyzing the "Jinguiyaolue" prescriptions using database, and to explore possibilities of applying the data construction and query produced in the process to comparative research with other texts in the future. Methods : Using "Xinbianzhongjingquanshu(新編仲景全書)" as original script, the contents of "Jinguiyaolue" were entered into the database, in which one verse would be separated according to content for individual usage. Also, data with medicinal construction and disease pattern information of the previously constructed "Shanghanlun" database designed for comparison with other texts was applied for comparative analysis. Results : For input and analysis, 6 tables and 12 queries were made and used. Formulas were accessible by using herbal combinations, and applications of these formulas could be assembled for comparison. Formulas were also accessible by using disease pattern combinations, and combinations of herbs and disease pattern together were also applicable. In comparison with other texts, examples and frequency of usage of herbs could be relatively accurately compared, while disease patterns could not easily be compared. Conclusions : Herbal combinations, disease pattern combinations could yield related texts and herb/disease pattern combinations of the prescriptions in the "Jinguiyaolue", which shortened time needed for research among formulas in texts. However, standardization research for disease pattern is necessary for a more accurate comparative study that includes disease pattern information.

The purpose of this study is to provide a basic data for energy efficient apartment designs by analyzing electricity and gas usage according to horizontal locations of dwelling units in apartment buildings. The data for this research are collected from J-apartment complex, located at 'Wolbae' district in Daegu City. The data are sorted into several groups according to inner and outer locations, East-West locations, and the size of units. By the performance efficiency analysis, the study derives the result as follows: 1) generally inner units are more efficient than outer units. 2) West units are more efficient than East units. 3) The group that is most efficient in overall energy consumption is West-inner units (Group-D) and the least efficient group is East-outer units (Group-A1). 4) However, as units are getting bigger, inner units consumes more energy than outer units because of the gas usage patterns. The study also established cost analysis that shows the cost differences of usages for 30, 40, 50 years between each group. The result says Inner-outer location with East-West location affects a significant amount of the management costs. In terms of economic and social life of an apartment building, energy design standards need to be tuned and make the least efficient units perform as efficient as the most efficient units to optimize the social life of an apartment building.
