This study is a preliminary study to develop an evaluation framework necessary for evaluating the DataON platform. The first objective is to examine expert perceptions of the level of DataON platform construction. The second objective is to evaluate the importance, stability, and usability of DataON platform features over OpenAIRE features. The third objective is to derive weights from the evaluation perspective for future DataON platform evaluation. The fourth objective is to examine the preferences of experts in each evaluation perspective and to derive unbiased evaluation criteria. This study used a survey method for potential stakeholders of the DataON platform. The survey included 12 professionals with at least 10 years of experience in the field. The 57 overall functions and services were measured at 3.1 out of 5 for importance. Stability was -0.07 point and usability was measured as -0.05 point. The 42 features and services scored 3.04 points in importance. Stability was -0.58 points and usability was -0.51 points. In particular, the stability and usability scores of the 42 functions and services provided as of 2018 were higher than the total functions were, which is attributed to the stable and user-friendly improvement after development. In terms of the weight of the evaluation point, the collection quality has the highest weight of 27%. Interface usability is then weighted 22%. Subsequently, service quality is weighted 19%, and finally system performance efficiency and user feedback solicitation are equally weighted 16%.

This study is a proposal of quality scale and measurement for the Mobile Hospital Information System Usability used to the Chungnam National University Hospital in Daejeon Korea. This study is to provide decision- making guideline for hospital managers and to provide feedback for the users' information needs in Mobile Hospital Information System. The target people of the study were medical doctors in Chungnam National University Hospital. The service contexts of usability were request of medical Care, Vital sign check of Patient, Care Agreement of Patient, Blood management, Check of care state, Sign of choice doctors, Query of doctor order and patient measurement result. The Usability factors were the efficiency, effectiveness and satisfaction of quality model ISO9241-11. This study shows that the Mobile HIS is used for the communication and education between doctor and patients. Especially, The Care Agreement of Patient is a part of the most utilized in the Mobile HIS.

As the propagation of smart devices has increased and the variety of the devices also has been diversified, various existing functions are concentrated on these smart devices. One of the phenomena is that the paper-book market has partially transferred into an e-Book market. As the demand of the e-Book has increased over time, the improvement of the types of e-Book on the market can be observed. In this study, the usability evaluation on the interface of the e-Book viewer for the types of application, which can be installed in the smart devices, has been conducted. The items for the usability evaluation of the e-Book were defined, the usage patterns were observed objectively and a questionnaire technique was applied. By analyzing the usability evaluation of e-Book interface, the directions for production and improvement of e-Books have been suggested.

Good records management is essential for good governance in modern democratic society. Though the records management institutions and policies in Korea were improved rapidly since the enactment of Public Records Management Act in 1999, the newly introduced records systems for administrative organizations including the New Electronic Data Management System(NEDMS) and Electronic Records Management Systems for Records Centers(ERMS/RC) have many problems in terms of ensuring the quality of records. The purpose of this study aimed to suggest quality criteria for measuring authenticity, reliability, integrity and usability of electronic records based on the international standards and guidelines such as ISO 15489, InterPARES project and BS ISO 15489 guidelines. The present study began with defining concepts and structure of records as evidence of activities. And it analysed four characteristics such as authenticity, reliability, integrity and usability of records by comparing various definitions in diplomatics and archival science literatures, and some projects reports. Finally it suggested the quality criteria for measuring authenticity, reliability, integrity and usability of records, and methods for maintaining them in each process of creation, maintenance and preservation.

Purpose: The aim of this study was conducted to assess the proficiency of both direct laryngoscopy and video laryngoscopy and the usefulness of each laryngoscope, thereby provide basic data for further education using video laryngoscopy. Methods: Forty one paramedic subjects participated in this study. Usability was measured with the System usability scale. The Macintosh direct laryngoscope and $C-MAC^{(R)}$ video laryngoscope were two instruments evaluated in the study. Results: Training with video laryngoscopy showed significantly better results within the categories of dental injury (p=.004), esophageal intubation (p=.001), and proper depth placement of intubation tubes (p=.019). The results of the System usability scale questionnaire and the degrees of visibility based on the Cormack & Lehane classification were also found to be better achieved with the video laryngoscopy (p=.000). Conclusion: This study suggests enhancing education with video laryngoscopy, which could reduce the risk of complications and duration of intubation while increasing the success rate among students and emergency medical technicians with little experience, rather than the existing method of only using direct laryngoscope, which requires considerable experience and skills.

After arranging the general usability evaluation criteria of existing VUI researchers, this study verified how appropriate these criteria are for AI VUI specialized in navigation and the priority of their suitability. The VUI used in this study was analyzed through a survey from a total of 195 Chinese users after analyzing the navigation VUI used in China. As a result of the analysis, the usability evaluation criteria of the navigation VUI were extracted from three sub-factors of 'task accuracy', 'function satisfaction', and 'information reliability' in verifying conformance with general VUI evaluation criteria. With the recent advent of self-driving cars, safety and response speed are becoming very important, so Chinese users also ranked responsiveness as the top priority in VUI design, and the importance was also found to be high. Also, both men and women have the highest reactivity and the lowest multiplicity. VUI requires a convenient and natural interface to understand the intention between two objects through usability evaluation and verification in order to have effective interaction between humans and machines.

Objective: Cognitive-motor trainings had a positive impact on cognitive function and dual-task trainings led to improvements of global cognitive function. The brain activity of the prefrontal cortex (PFC) is another indicator that can infer cognitive function. This study aims to confirm the usability of the interactive system cognitive-motor training program and the changes in the prefrontal cortex through training. Design: Cross-sectional study Methods: In this study, two cognitive tasks were randomly applied to 20 adults as cognitive-motor training using an interactive system, and the same task was performed using the original method. During all tasks, the brain activity of the prefrontal cortex was measured by the change in oxyhemoglobin (HbO) in real-time using Functional Near-Infrastructure. After performing the tasks, the usability of the developed interactive system was evaluated by a usability questionnaire which consists of five items, and each item consists of a 7-point Likert scale that responds from 1 point to 7 points. Results: The HbO levels were increased during cognitive task performance than at the resting phase. And evaluating the usefulness of the interactive system, a questionnaire result showed that it would be useful for cognitive-motor programs. Conclusions: The cognitive-motor training using the interactive system increased the activity of the prefrontal cortex, and the developed wearable sensor-based interactive system confirmed its usefulness.

Evaluating methods for software asset have been made based on subjective evaluation criteria. In this study, we try to evaluate the usability of complex assets obtained from the previous measurement of the complexity of the asset management system. The evaluation used a scale provided by measuring logical complexity to measure the complexity of the asset, and evaluated the relationship with the usability of the software asset by measuring the index related to reusability. Therefore, it can be seen that HVs maintain a constant ratio according to the composition of various assets for the two types of assets and maintain the applied consistency. Therefore, it can be determined that an asset optimized in terms of usability can be applied consistently in the architectural design process while securing as much diversity as possible.

Internet is the most prevailing word being used nowadays. Over the years, people are becoming more dependent on the internet as it makes their job easier. This became a part of everyone's life as a means of communication in almost every area like financial transactions, education, and personal-health operations. A lot of data is being converted to digital and made online. Many researchers have proposed different authentication factors - biometric and/or non-biometric authentication factors - as the first line of defense to secure online data. Among all those factors, passwords and passphrases are being used by many users around the world. However, the usability of these factors is low. Also, the passwords are easily susceptible to brute force and dictionary attacks. This paper proposes the generation of a novel passcode from the hybrid authentication factor - sound. The proposed passcode is evaluated for its strength to resist brute-force and dictionary attacks using the Shannon entropy and Passcode (or password) entropy formulae. Also, the passcode is evaluated for its usability. The entropy value of the proposed is 658.2. This is higher than that of other authentication factors. Like, for a 6-digit pin - the entropy value was 13.2, 101.4 for Password with Passphrase combined with Keystroke dynamics and 193 for fingerprint, and 30 for voice biometrics. The proposed novel passcode is far much better than other authentication factors when compared with their corresponding strength and usability values.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the improvement of the educational web service by using of usability test. For this purpose, a case study was performed with three teachers. They solved three problems, which were linked to the usability of educational web site, with think-aloud. All their actions in the screen and their verbalizations were recorded as computer files. Recoded data were analyzed with the task-performance time analysis, behavior code analysis, and problem behavior graph analysis. From the result of analysis, five improvement strategies were proposed for the development of EDUNET which is an educational information service system and a national teaching & learning center.
