곡선부 통과 차량의 진동특성 및 안전성 평가 (A Safety Assessment and Vibration Characteristics of Railway Vehicle Passing Curves)

  • An analysis model has been developed to assess running safety of railway vehicle passing curves. By using ADAMS/Rail, a computer analysis has been conducted by changing various parameters according to the track conditions. Analysis results show as follows: A derailment coefficient of left wheel was increased according to increase of cant at low speed, while it was decreased as increase of cant at high speed. A unload rate of left wheel was also increased according to increase of cant at low speed, while it was decreased as increase of cant at high speed. A wear number of left wheel was increased according to increase of cant at all speed, but only at 35 m/s, it was decreased as increase of cant. A friction coefficient of left wheel was Increased according to increase of cant at all speed, but only at 35 m/s. it was decreased as increase of cant.

  • A monitoring system for container is the positioning and managing system, which has been rapidly updated recently, for logistics in real-time. GPS is a global positioning system which is capable of positioning container promptly with a reasonable amount of accuracy. Facility managers of ports or airports should load/unload/keep freight effectively. Transport companies or freight owners should allocate moving container properly and be able to prevent or cope with the loss or delay of freight. In this study, it is monitored and tested the movement of the containers fitted with GPS, and its accuracy and efficiency is analyzed.

  • In light of the growing traffic congestion problem and congestion cost, the container transport by railway has to be increased. The freight transport by railway can have decided advantages over trucks in terms of energy efficiency, emissions and cost for certain freight movements, just as transportation in the metropolitan region can have great advantages over driving truck. But the freight transport by truck should gain significant mobility benefits from a freight railway system. Thus, the DMT(Dual Mode Trailer) transport system which is coupled railway transport advantages with load transport advantages has been developed and used in the european countries. The DMT transport will therefore serve the areas required by transport organizers. The purpose of this paper is to estimate economical feasibility analysis for development of DMT transport system. Consequently, this study analyzed the characteristics of the DMT system. The horizontal load.unload system is being considered as an adoptable DMT system in consideration of the situation in Korea.

  • In this paper, we would like to explain about the structure analysis of wheel set as variation of contact position between wheel and rail. Measurement of interacted force between wheel and rail is necessary for running safety evaluation as important factor of derailment mechanism. It's necessary to running safety evaluation of rolling stock. Wheel unload and lateral force change as variation of contact position between wheel and rail. Interacted force between wheel and rail got as each contact position through computer simulation. This is necessary process as first research for evaluation of derailment phenomenon and running safety.

  • In this paper we present a 3-DOF manipulator of which task is to unload the product from a micro factory. The micro factory developed by KITECH presses sheet metal to produce a micro valve that is used for micro pump. Our research is focused on the development of a small-sized unloading manipulator which works in the narrow workspace between the dies. We have implemented pick-and-place task with vacuum pressure and 3-DOF motion with stepping motors. We present the design procedures and analysis required in each module.

  • This paper describes the simulation study which evaluates operation plans of container terminal. The operation plans of container terminal consist of berth plan, load plan, unload plan, yard plan, and equipment plan. It is discussed how to apply the simulation method to evaluate those plans that are interrelated with each other. This paper also deals with the assignment and coordination problems of container-handing equipment such as container cranes, transfer cranes, yard tractors, and trailers used in the transportation of containers. Simulation analysis is bases on data about plans from the operation planning system through an interface program. It is discussed what we should got the statistics about container-handing equipment in the simulation.

폐쇄형 대기행렬 네트워크에 의한 FMS 모델링 (A Study on Modeling of FMS using Closed Queueing Network)

  • Many closed queueing network models have been used as an effective tool to make a preliminary design of FMS. Although a loading/unloading function is an important factor to effect the utilization and throughput of FMS as well as a transfer function and a processing function, the Solberg's model did not clarify the loading/unloading function. In this paper, we propose a closed queueing network model for analyzing a flexible manufacturing system that consists of a load/unload station, a material handling system and a group of workstations for processing jobs, and define the expected utilization and the expected throughput of the FMS. As applications of the proposed model, the cases of a material handling system consisting of a conveyor and the FMS including an inspection station are also formulated.

충돌을 고려한 Dynamic L/UL 슬라이더의 동적 거동 해석 (Analysis of Slider Dynamics in Loading Process considering Collision)

  • Dynamic L/UL(Load/Unload) system has many merits. but it may happen an undesirable collision during the dynamic loading process. In this paper, the dynamics of negative pressure pico-slider was investigated through numerical simulation during the loading process. A simplified L/UL model for the suspension system has been presented and a simulation code has been developed to analyze the motion of the slider. A slider design has been simulated at various disk rotating speeds, skew angles of slider. We can decrease the possibility of collision and smoothen the loading process for a given slider-suspension design by selection an optimal rpm and pre-skew angle.

화물 피킹 안전작업에 대한 연구 : 수작업을 중심으로 (A Study on Cargo Picking Safety Work: Focusing on Manual Labor)

  • When picking up cargo, workers manually load and unload the cargo. Workers have different intensity of work depending on the amount and weight of cargo. In particular, as the intensity of manual work increases, workers are exposed to cumulative traumatic diseases. A manual for picking safety work for workers cargo handling in the distribution center is required. In this study, the worker's picking safety work based on the cargo volume and weight was presented as an experimental design model. Like the research results, the disease begins when the worker feels the number of pains presented by the model.

하이브리드 박막/쉘 방법을 이용한 박판성형공정의 스프링백 해석 (Spring-back prediction for sheet metal forming process using hybrid membrane/shell method)

  • To reduce the cost of finite element analyses for sheet forming a 3D hybrid membrance/sheel method has been developed to study the springback of anisotropic sheet metals. in the hybrid method the bending strains and stresses were analytically calculated as post-processing using incremental shapes of the sheet obtained previously from the membrane finite element analysis. To calculate springback a shell finite element model was used to unload the final shape of the sheet obtained from the membran code and the stresses and strains that were calculated analytically. For verification the hybrid method was applied to predict the springback of a 2036-T4 aluminum square blank formed into a cylindrical cup. the springback predictions obtained with the hybrid method was in good agreement with results obtained using a full shell model to simulateboth loading an unloading and the experimentally measured data. The CPU time saving with the hybrid method over the full shell model was 75% for the punch stretching problem.
