  • Purpose: With the unique feature of O2O, consumers are now able to check the profile of the services and products online and then consume them in offline venues or vice versa. This study provides motivation and practical implications about online-to-offline (O2O) distribution channels and investigates the relationship between economic values, service consistency and brand identity attractiveness in the O2O distribution channel. Then identify the impact of brand identity attractiveness on the performance (reputation and reuse intention). Research design, data, and methodology: Structural equation modeling (SEM) has been used to investigate the relationship between economic value and brand identity attractiveness, which affects the reputation and reuse intention of services in O2O. Results: Empirical results show the positive and significant impact of economic value and service consistency on brand identity attractiveness which results the positive and significant impact on performance (reputation and reuse intention) in O2O. Conclusion: In the O2O distribution channel, economic value is an important aspect for the attractive image and brand identity. On the other side, brand identity attractiveness is important for the bright future of O2O services, continuous growth, achieving the distinct goal, keeping good promises with customers, and a better reputation of O2O services in distribution channels.

  • Abstract. In this paper, we study a modified stochastic predator-prey system with general ratio-dependent functional response. We prove that the system has a unique positive solution for given positive initial value. Then we investigate the persistence and extinction of this stochastic system. At the end, we give some numerical simulations, which support our theoretical conclusions well.

  • It is known that an unbiased estimator of f(p) for binomial B(n,p) exists if and only if f is a polynomial of degree at most n, in which case the unbiased estimator of a real-valued function $f(p), p = (p_0,p_1,\cdots,p_r)$ is unique. In general, this estimator has the serious fault of not being range preserving; that is, its value may fall outside the range of f(p). In this article, a condition on a real-valued function f is derived that is necessary for the unbiased estimator to be range preserving that this is sufficient when n is large enough.

  • Considered here is the first initial boundary value problem for the two-dimensional g-Navier-Stokes equations in bounded domains. We first study the long-time behavior of strong solutions to the problem in term of the existence of a global attractor and global stability of a unique stationary solution. Then we study the long-time finite dimensional approximation of the strong solutions.

  • In previous studies, charged mosaic membranes having two different fixed charges in the membrane matrix indicated unique transport behavior such as preferential material transport. In this study, the composite charged mosaic membrane endurable to mechanical pressure in practical application was investigated from the same aspect of solute and solvent transport as before. Lp and ${\omega}$ estimated by taking account of active layer thickness were satisfactorily consistent with those in mosaic membrane without reinforcement. On the other hand, the reflection coefficient s indicated the negative value that suggests preferential material transport.

  • The collateral diagnosis method is unique in Traditional Chinese Medicine diagnosis methods which has important clinical value. In my article, the contents of the "Hwangjenaegyeong(黃帝內經)" related to this method is discussed. According to the site of inspection in the diagnosis process, there are five types as following: inspection of the face and surface, the thenar, the orifices, abdominal collaterals and finally the index finger of children. This method can inspire clinical practitioners.

  • This paper is devoted to investigate the existence of the solutions for a class of the noncooperative elliptic system involving critical Sobolev exponents. We show the existence of the negative solution for the problem. We show the existence of the unique negative solution for the system of the linear part of the problem under some conditions, which is also the negative solution of the nonlinear problem. We also consider the eigenvalue problem of the matrix.

  • Lee, et al. (1999) proposed a unique but universal robust objective function replacing the square objective function for the radial basis function network, and demonstrated some advantages. In this article, the robust objective function in Lee, et al. (1999) is adapted for a multilayer perceptron (MLP). The shape of the robust objective function is formed by the scale parameter. Another method of determining a proper value of that parameter is proposed.

  • We recently showed in [5] a semilocal convergence theorem that guarantees convergence of Newton's method to a locally unique solution of a nonlinear equation under hypotheses weaker than those of the Newton-Kantorovich theorem [7]. Here, we first weaken Miranda's theorem [1], [9], [10], which is a generalization of the intermediate value theorem. Then, we show that operators satisfying the weakened Newton-Kantorovich conditions satisfy those of the weakened Miranda’s theorem.

  • An age replacement policy is considered for a system under a stepdown warranty. It is assumed that only minimal repairs are performed for failures occurred before age T.A unique optimal value of T which minimiges the expected cost rate is obtained. The cases of the free replacement warranty, prorata warranty and hybrid warranty are also considered and some numerical examples are given.
