  • Modular furniture's colors, materials, finishing materials and quantities are determined by users' tastes and it's diverse functions, shapes and sizes are determined by the spaces of users. That is, modules satisfy the diversity of consumers, meet differentiated individuals' tastes and enable communications with consumers rather than delivering one-way messages of designers. The contemporary spaces of the 21st century have been gradually shifting from uniform spaces attaching weight on individuals' individuality and tastes and along with it, the consumption of expensive custom-made furniture and foreign branded furniture is increasing to satisfy those small numbers of consumers who want to express diversified individuality. The modular furniture as a concept which is the most suitable to Mass Customization can be produced in large quantities while considering the diverse needs and tastes of individuals and it does not have absolute shapes or sizes. The concept of modular furniture shows similarities to the creation of fractals that forms shapes by self similarities, repeats and similar transformations which is in the same context as the characteristics of a modular design that presents diversity with scales, materials and jointing points. Fractals will be combined with the digital media of today to present great plasticity and influence designers more heavily. Pursuit of new modeling is a requisite for the creation of future spaces and it will require continuous creativity and the transformable modular furniture will contribute to the satisfaction of diverse consumers' needs. This study is to propose the modular furniture that considers the diversity of the public in the 21st century and their individuality and that will enable interactions between designers and consumers.

남자 중학생의 교복 착용 실태에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Wearing Conditions of Middle School Boys' Uniforms)

  • This study investigates the wearing conditions and satisfaction level of middle school boys' uniforms. The subjects for the survey were 626 male students from 9 middle schools in Seoul. Data were analyzed using the SPSS 14.0 program. The results of this study are as follows; 1) When purchasing school uniforms, students considered the comfort and the fit important. Student considered importantly the shoulder width of jacket, the shirt length and the sleeve length of shirt, and the pant length and the pant width of pants. 2) Most of students purchased one size bigger school uniforms because they need to wear school uniforms for three years. About 80% of students had difficulties in understanding the meaning of size label, and this made it difficult to select the right size of school uniforms even if they knew their body size exactly. 3) About 10% of students repurchased school uniforms because their school uniforms did not fit any more. The periods of repurchase were the 1st grade 2nd semester and the 2nd grade 1st semester. 4) The waist circumference of pants and the pant width were evaluated larger and the pant length was evaluated to be longer (36.6% of students evaluated that the pant length was longer). Compared to 2nd grade and 3rd grade, the freshman felt that school uniforms were bigger. 5) 44.9% of students had the experience of repairing their school uniforms. The most frequent reason for repair was that the size of school uniforms did not fit well. 202 students repaired the pant length and 86.1% of them reduced their pant length.

자기주도적 학습을 위한 콘텐츠 재구성에 대한 연구 (A Study on Contents Reorganization for Self-Directed Learning)

  • 대부분의 온라인 교육 시스템들은 기존의 설정된 문항난이도를 기반으로 학습자에게 학습정보를 제공하고 있으며, 동일한 수준의 학습자는 모두 동일한 학습과정에 따라 학습을 수행하고 있다. 하지만 동일한 수준의 학습자라 할지라도 학습 내용을 이해하는 정도는 서로 다를 수 있다. 따라서 제공된 콘텐츠를 이해하기 어려움에도 불구하고 정해진 난이도와 학습과정에 따라 획일적으로 학습이 진행되는 방법은 효율적인 학습효과를 나타내기 어렵다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 온라인 학습이 제공하는 획일적 학습에서 벗어나 학습자가 학습 도중 학습 콘텐츠의 난이도를 변경할 수 있도록 함으로써, 자기주도적 학습을 지원하기 위한 콘텐츠 재구성 방법을 제시하였다. 학습자는 학습 도중 제시된 콘텐츠가 이해하기 어렵거나 쉽다고 판단되는 경우, 현재 제시된 학습 콘텐츠의 수준을 변경할 수 있다. 이때 변경된 학습 콘텐츠의 수준은 콘텐츠 재구성 모듈로 전달된다. 변경된 수준을 전달받은 콘텐츠 재구성 모듈은 전달된 학습자의 수준에 적합한 콘텐츠 및 퀴즈 문항을 추출하고, 추출한 콘텐츠와 퀴즈를 기초로 학습내용을 재구성하여 학습자에게 제시한다. 본 논문에서 제안한 방법을 이용하면 학습자는 자신의 수준에 적합한 콘텐츠를 제공받을 수 있기 때문에 학습 이해도를 높일 수 있고, 학습자의 적극적인 학습 참여를 유도함으로써 보다 높은 학습효과와 학습 만족도를 얻을 것으로 기대된다.

  • 최근 정부의 창조과학의 일환으로 과학교육의 활성화를 위한 정책을 추진하고 있지만 과학전시는 인프라의 부족과 예산 및 인력의 부족으로 많은 어려움을 겪고 있는 현실이다. 과거의 과학관은 현장학습 체험의 대표적인 장소이자 유청소년들의 호기심의 장소였다. 그러나 현대에는 과학관의 경쟁상대는 테마파크나 온라인 게임들이 경쟁의 대상으로 부각되어지면서 체험과 교육이라는 두 가지 목표를 달성하기 위한 과학체험 전시기기의 변화가 요구되어진다. 해외 선진 과학관의 사례를 살펴보면 과학관이 단순한 과학교육 체험의 장이 아닌 하나의 문화공간으로서 휴식과 엔터테인먼트를 제공하고 있으며, 과학이외에도 주변 생활을 다양한 장르의 예술이나 패션 등과 결합하여 전시를 기획하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 현재의 획일화 되어진 전시기기의 설명 패널을 디지로그 북을 이용한 설명 패널로 교체하여 관람객의 연령과 학년에 맞춘 서비스를 제공함으로서 과학지식에 대한 지적 호기심 유발과 관람객의 만족도를 높일 수 있는 방안을 제시 하고자 한다.

소아환자복의 착의실태에 관한 연구 (The Actual Wearing Condition for the Uniform of Pediatric Inpatient)

  • This study provides information for the design of pediatric inpatient uniforms with functionality and aesthetic beauty through a questionnaire-survey of the conditions of providing, wearing, preferences and improvement requirements for pediatric inpatient uniforms. As a result of the survey, intravenous injections were mostly given on the back of the hand, and the method of changing uniforms after intravenous injections was (in most cases) to pass the injection bottle through a sleeve or pant leg while the needle is inserted. The respondents answered that the sleeve length and pant length did not match. As a result of the preference of the pediatric inpatient design survey, respondents indicated they preferred pajama type, yellow color and medium size animal patterns. A similar ratio of set-in and raglan with no collar but with 3/4 length sleeve of round neck, front end, sleeve top opening, button closing and two pockets were preferred for shirts; however, a 3/4 length with rubber string on the waist, no opening and inner opening were preferred at the same ratio for pants. As for the method to adjust the length to assign functionality to pediatric inpatient uniforms, the most preferred sleeve was a roll-up sleeve with a strap and the most preferred pants were length adjusted pants that used a strap for both shirts and pants with a both sides strap. In addition, the majority of the respondents answered that a hand wrapper that protects the injection location during intravenous injections needs be developed. As for the development type, a half glove type and glove type were preferred in sequential order.

백령느타리 '우람'의 소비확대를 위한 시장평가와 마케팅 전략 (Market evaluation and marketing strategy to expand the consumption of Pleurotus nebrodensis variety 'Uram')

  • 본 연구 목적은 백령느타리 『우람』의 유통인 및 소비자 선호에 따른 마케팅전략 수립을 통해 시장진입 방안을 제시함에 있다. 시장 평가 결과 첫째, 유통인 평가에서는 모양과 크기가 균일한 버섯 재배, 높은 수분함량에 따른 낮은 저장성 보완, 소포장 판매가 필요하다고 하였다. 둘째 소비자 평가에서 백령느타리의 품질 만족도는 식감이 가장 높았으며 크기와 모양의 만족도가 낮았다. 소비자 평가에서도 유통인평가와 마찬가지로 수분이 많아 저장성이 짧다는 의견이 도출되어 재배시 개선이 필요하다고 판단된다. 시장평가를 통한 마케팅 전략은 다음과 같이 도출되었다. 제품(Product) 측면에서는 모양과 크기가 균일한 버섯 생산, 150~300 g 형태로 소포장 판매를 고려해야 하고 가격(Price)는 고급화전략으로 고가판매, 유통(Price) 측면은 생산 초기 로컬푸드 및 친환경매장 입점 후 농가 생산이 증가하면 도매시장에 정기수의계약으로 출하를 할 수 있다고 판단된다. 마지막으로 홍보(Promotion)는 백령느타리가 소비자들에게 생소한 버섯임을 감안하여 시식행사, 체험단 운영을 통해 소비자의 접근성을 높여야 할 것이다. 이러한 마케팅 전략을 수행하기 위해서는 무엇보다 생산농가와 협력하여 안정적인 생산을 유도하고 유통 및 판매 등의 과정이 체계적으로 관리되고 지속될 수 있도록 노력해야 한다. 또한 신소득 품목 육성과정에서도 유통 및 소비트렌드 등을 면밀히 파악하여 소비지향적인 품종 개발을 위해 노력해야 할 것이다.

A Comparative Study on the Change Characteristics of the 4th to the 6th Size Korea's Anthropometric Data: Focused on the Boys Aged 13 to 18

  • Objective: The aim of this study is to analyze the change characteristics of boys among the ages of 13 and 18 years. This study is based on the $4^{th}$ to the $6^{th}$ national anthropometric survey(Size Korea) data. Background: Many changes can affect the body characteristics compared withthe past. The significant changes were shown in Pepsi generation according to the report of national anthropometric survey of Korea 1997. Method: The subjects of the survey were 1,899 boys of the $4^{th}$ Size Korea, 1,587 boys of the $5^{th}$Size Korea and 2,317 boys of the $6^{th}$ Size Korea, who were from 13 to 18 years old. The change characteristics were analyzed withanthropometric measurements, height index value and proportion. Results: Stature was increased in 17~18 years old age group of the $5^{th}$ and the $6^{th}$ Size Korea and height items of the lower body showed the tendency to increase as the $6^{th}$ Size Korea over the time. In the case of circumference items, the tendency to increase in the $5^{th}$ and the $6^{th}$ Size Korea was observed. If the $5^{th}$ and the $6^{th}$ Size Korea were compared, there were no changes of other circumference items but chest circumference of the $6^{th}$ Size Korea was decreased in comparison with the $5^{th}$ Size Korea. Waist breadth(natural indentation) was increased in the $6^{th}$ Size Korea in spite of chest breadth was decreased in the $5^{th}$ and the $6^{th}$ Size Korea. And shoulder length, biacromion length and bishoulder length were decreased. The proportion of chest circumference, abdominal extension circumference and hip circumference to waist circumference and the proportion of chest breadth to waist breadth(natural indentation) showed the tendency to decrease as the $6^{th}$ Size Korea over the time. Conclusion: There was no change of stature excluding 17~18 years old. Circumference items showed tendency to increase as the $6^{th}$ Size Korea over the time. Shoulder and chest breadth became narrow. The somatotype changed to board chest with narrow waist in comparison with the previous. Application: In this way, the body size of 13~18 years' old boys changes. If these change characteristics reflects to the school uniform design, research for the pattern development, and etc., these will be able to improve fit and satisfaction of clothes.

Present Status of Rooftop Gardening in Sylhet City Corporation of Bangladesh: an Assessment Based on Ecological and Economic Perspectives

  • Present study analyzes the rooftop gardening status, floristic composition and cost and return of the rooftop garden in Sylhet City Corporation of northeastern Bangladesh. Data was collected from 450 rooftop gardeners randomly during July-September 2010. Study reveal that rooftop gardening is generally for mental satisfaction (95.3%) followed by leisure time activity (87.8%) in the study area and almost all the family members of gardeners' were involved; while collection of planting materials, sites preparation and marketing of products were reported to be carried out by males only (male 71.33%). Middle income classes were most interested in rooftop gardening (43.78%). The survey recorded 53 plant species (35 families) of which Cucurbitaceae family represented highest eight species. Shrubs (28%) were highest followed by herbs (26%) among agri-crops (36%) and flower species (30%). About 89% of the rooftop gardeners procured planting materials from nursery, market, fair, neighbor, relative and friends and they mostly prefer to use seedlings (48%) for roof gardening followed by direct seed sowing (21%). Gardeners sell products sporadically in different local markets, directly or through intermediaries, with no uniform pricing for system. Rooftop gardening improves the food security and meet nutritional deficiency to the gardeners. Survey revealed that generally very few people consider rooftop gardening commercially to get profit and from the cost-return analysis this gardening system can be economically viable if proper and scientifically managed. The study conclude that active government and NGOs could play vital role to increasing this activities by providing training and motivate people with technical aspects of rooftop gardening.

베이지안 네트워크를 이용한 기업의 사회적 책임활동과 재무성과 (Bayesian Network Analysis for the Dynamic Prediction of Financial Performance Using Corporate Social Responsibility Activities)

  • 본 연구는 기업의 사회적 책임(CSR: corporate social responsibility)활동이 재무성과에 미치는 영향을 베이지안 네트워크를 통해 분석하였다. 본 연구에서는 선행연구에서 널리 사용되어 온 분석방법인 다중회귀분석방법의 종속변수와 설명변수간에 획일적인 선형함수만을 가정하는데에서 나오는 문제점을 극복하고자 한다. 즉, 기업의 재무성과에 영향을 미치는 경영자의 사회적 책임활동간에 존재하는 인과관계를 도출할 필요가 있다. 이는 어떤 변수가 다른 어떤 변수와 직접 또는 간접적 인과관계를 통하여 기업의 재무성과에 영향을 주는지를 의사결정자에게 알려줌으로써 보다 효과적으로 기업의 재무성과를 개선시킬 수 있도록 지원할 수 있다. 이를 위하여 본 연구에서는 일반 베이지안 네트워크 (GBN: General Bayesian Network)을 제안하고 GBN에서 유도되는 마코프 블랭킷 (Markov Blanket)을 제시한다. 본 연구는 경제정의실천시민연합 산하 경제정의연구소에서 조사한 한국의 대표적 기업 약200개의 2005년부터 2011년까지 경제정의지수(Korean economic justice institute index: KEJI index)를 기초로 실험한 결과 기업성과측정치에 따라 차이는 보이지만 건전성(CSR1_20)과 경제발전기여도(CSR7_10)는 모든 기업의 재무성과에 직접적인 인과관계를 나타내었으며, 소비자보호만족도(CSR4_7), 환경보호만족도(CSR5_10) 및 종업원만족도(CSR6_10)는 각 측정지표간의 직 간접적인 인과관계를 나타내어 서로에게 중요한 영향을 미치고 있음을 나타내었다. 또한, what-if 민감도 분석을 통해 기업재무성과에 직접적인 인과관계가 있는 변수들의 사전확률이 변할 대 사후확률의 변화를 분석하여, 본 연구에서 제안한 방법이 모두 통계적으로 유의한 결과를 제공한다는 것이 실증적으로 검증되었다.

전통시장의 서비스품질요인이 고객가치, 관계품질, 행동의도에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Traditional Market Service Quality Factors on Customer Value, Relational Quality, and Behavioral Intention)

  • Purpose - The aim of this study is to develop an empirical model of the effects of traditional market service quality factors on customer value, relationship quality, and behavior. The specific objectives of the study are as follows: 1) to classify study objects into cultural tourism markets and non-cultural tourism markets as well as to verify the differences in service quality among the two markets and, 2) to present practical service marketing methods that fit with the characteristics of the traditional markets by amending the five quality evaluation items of SERVQUAL (a multiple-item scale for measuring service quality)to suit the characteristics of the traditional markets and establish the relationship among customer value, relationship quality, and behavior intention. Research design, data, and methodology - The study methods of empirical investigation are as follows. First, this study selected for a study object the Suwon Paldalmun Gate Market to represent the cultural tourism market, and general traditional markets to represent the non-cultural tourism market. This study also conducted personal interviews in order to increase the response rate and collected a total of 418 responses between March 18, 2014 and April 05, 2014. The total of 418 responses used for this study excluded 14 responses that had either misleading information or missing values. Results - This study verified the perceived differences of service quality based on traditional market specialization through an independent sample t-test. It appeared that the perceived service quality of the cultural tourism market was generally higher than that of the non-cultural tourism market. This study executed a path analysis in order to examine the effects of service quality factors on customer value, relationship quality, and behavior intention. This study also comprehensively analyzed the specialized market and non-specialized market separately. Although there were some differences among the results, the overall results were uniform. It appeared that convenience, reliability, and empathy, among the service quality factors, exerted meaningful effects on customer value. On the other hand, convenience, reliability, responsiveness, and empathy, excluding the tangibles, exerted meaningful effects on the relationship quality. In addition, it appeared that all service quality factors exerted meaningful effects on the customer value, relationship quality, and behavior intention. Therefore, the study verified that all of the hypotheses formulated in the study were generally adopted. Conclusions - The implication of this study may be classified into academic and practical implication as follows. With respect to the academic implication, it seems that this study is among the early studies to verify the differences between the cultural tourism market and the non-cultural tourism market. The practical implication of this study is that the perceived service quality, such as convenience, reliability, responsiveness, and tangibles, excluding empathy, was higher in the cultural tourism market than in the non-cultural tourism market. This means that customer satisfaction is enhanced by governmental aid such as hardware, software, and information and communications technology.
