The objective of the study was to design a Battle Dress Uniform(BDU with improved motional flexibility, body fit, and protectiveness to cope with the special operational environment of the subjects. For this purpose, the researcher conducted a questionnaire survey on 92 male members of Special Weapon Attack Team(SWAT units in a former study, and based on the results of the survey, made the two-piece and one- piece BDU samples to overcome the identified problems and inconveniences. The sample uniforms were designed ergonomically from five aspects. Subsequentlv, the new BDU was compared with the current operational uniform in terms of outward appearance(design and fit), motional flexibility, and suitability for field activities. The samples were evaluated by 5 SWAT members as subjects and 8 graduate school students majoring in clothing and textiles as experts. According to the results, the two-piece and one-piece samples gained higher scores than the existing operational uniform in terms of outward appearance(design and fitness) and motional flexibility, and the one-piece sample was preferred with regard to fit when worn by the subjects with their full kit for field operations. That is, the one-piece sample appeared to be more suited to the special work environment of SWAT and to be more functional in terms of ease of putting on and taking off, motional flexibility, body fit and protectiveness than the current operational uniform(two-piece type).
The purpose of this research is to propose employee uniforms for tourist hotels on Jeju Island, such uniforms that embrace Jeju's unique culture and promote the tourism of Jeju Island. It has been suggested that there exists a need for hotel employee uniforms to attract more tourist attention and boost Jeju's tourism industry. We designed the uniform after analyzing the empirical data collected from academia thesis, periodicals, papers and pictures from internet search, and fashion industry magazines. The uniform analysis and production procedures are as follows: (1) precedent research case review (2) current (existing) uniform status survey (3) latest fashion trend analysis (2010 - 2014) (4) creating the uniform implementing the trend-based design with Gal Cheon, Jeju's cultural product material. We found tipping points of the design through literature and trend analysis; we developed appropriate uniforms accordingly that are harmonious with Jeju's unique identity. We received great evaluations on the appearance and comfort as well. A new concept of uniform featuring Gal Cheon has been proposed. It is expected that the uniforms will promote the brand image of Jeju as an international freedom city and its culture.
The objective of this study was to develop a school uniform sizing system with high coverage rate for middle school boys, who are in the stage of rapid growth, by identifying problems in existing school uniform sizing systems through surveys of students and uniform manufacturing companies, and analyzing juveniles' physical sizes. For this purpose. the study conducted a survey about how middle school boys choose their uniform sizes, and what complaints they have on the size of the uniforms. In addition, it was investigated what is the current state of uniform manufacturing and sizing systems through a survey of uniform companies, and the study identified problems in the size of school uniforms by comparing physical sizes of juveniles' aged 14 to 16 with the sizing systems of the companies and KS standards in 1997. Juveniles' physical data was a part of the material of the national anthropometric data in 1997. Using the two-way distribution of juveniles' height-bust girth and height-waist girth, this study established the sizing system by increasing the number of sizes for the short interval where juveniles' physical sizes are densely distributed whereas limiting the number of sizes for the long interval where juveniles' physical sizes are rarely distributed, considering the difference between companies' standard and KS' standard.
Fashion of one period is symbolic and figurative means of expression reflecting spirit, ideology, emotion and aesthetic values of that period. Designs of school uniforms fer girls also went through changes in various shapes along with changes in sociocultural and philosophical backgrounds in each period. Thus, in this study, in examining girls' school uniforms, how girls' school uniforms have evolved with what kind of design characteristics was observed along with process of historical changes, and investigation was made on realistic conditions of girls school uniforms since 1996 when active advancements in school uniform design were started. Also, through examination of girls' school uniform designs from homepage of large student uniform companies and catalogues, characteristics of girls' school uniforms after 1996 were observed. On the result, we could know that girl's school uniforms from 1996 to 2006 were designed in various forms compared to those of the past time and changing Arends of the era were reflected on the school uniform designs. Narrow waistline, shorter blouse, changes in the length of jacket and skirt showed that current school uniform designs pursue the fashionable and trendy designs unlike those of the past times that were uniform and strict. This study include organizing characteristics of girls' school uniform designs by each period, providing fundamental and realistic data for clothes manufacturing and marketing activities through analysis on designs of girls' school uniforms since 1996, and providing directions for future school uniform designs.

We investigated resistance development in Au/YBCO thin film meander lines during quench. The meander lines were fabricated by coating YBCO films insitu with a gold layer and patterning them by photolithography. The center stripe quenched fastest even though the flux flow resistance that appeared upon the current passing the critical current was uniform. Quench started at an area of the center stripe and propagate both through the gold layer and the sapphire substrate. Quench propagation speed was uniform and 60 cm/s at 30 V$_{rms}$.
In this paper, the stress and transient currents associated with the on and off time of applied voltage were used to measure the density and distribution of high voltage stress induced traps in thin silicon oxide films. The transient currents were due to the discharging of traps generated by high stress voltage in the silicon oxides. The trap distributions were relatively uniform new both cathode and anode interface. The trap densities were dependent on the stress polarity. The stress generated trap distributions were relatively uniform the order of 1011~1021[states/eV/cm2] after a stress voltage. It appear that the stress and transient current that flowed when the stress voltage were applied to the oxide was caused by carriers tunneling through the silicon oxide by the high voltage stress generated traps.
Intermediate annealing was carried out during wire drawing for uniform deformation of 500 m class Bi-2223/Ag HTS tapes. Wire drawing force was measured to evaluate the uniformity of wire deformation along the length. To prevent sausage and filament breakage of wire, drawing stress was controlled below 200 MPa by using intermediate annealing process. Thickness and width of the rolled tapes was measured 0.23 mm and 4.1 mm with low deviation $\pm$ 0.08 mm and $\pm$ 0.09 mm, respectively. The critical current of the 500 m tapes was measured 33.7 A $\pm$ 3.7 A by continuous critical current measurement system.
Prebreakdown current pulses arising from avalanche growth in SF6 were recorded under static uniform field at pressures up to about 400kpa. At pressures less than 100kpa the current pulses consist of the electron component observed as the fast rise of current, the negative ioncomponent which is superimposed, and the positive ion component comprising the tail of the pulse. The values of positive ion drift velocity were measured from the present pulse data. At pressures in excess of about 100 Kpa the pulse shapes becam distorted such that quantitative analysis was no longer possible, and did not indicate the action of any photosecondary process at the cathode. Breakdown appers to result from the seperate development of single avalanche.

This paper describes a simple random signal generator employing by CMOS analog technology in current mode. The system is a nonlinear dynamical system described by a difference equation, such as x(t+1) = f(x(t)) , t = 0,1,2, ... , where f($.$) is a nonlinear function of x(f). The tent map is used as a nonlinear function to produce the random signals with the uniform distribution. The prototype is implemented by using transistor array devices fabricated in a mass product line. It can be easily realized on a chip. Uniform randomness of the signal is examined by the serial correlation test and the $\chi$2 test.
Differential equations governing dynamic behavior of toroid-shaped ferro-magnetic material having a small gap of uniform width were derived incorporating Maxwell equations of electromagnetic induction relevent to the system and Newtonian equation of motion. Once the external uniform magnetic field was applied within the material through dc-circuit around the toroid, gap begin to change which lead to the abrupt variation of field in the material and gap according to the differential equations already derived. Characteristics of current and electromotive force with respect to time in the circuit consisting of inductance and resistance in series could be predicted from numerical solutions of these equations. As current in the circuit increasesl, magnetic field in the material increases, thus, the gap starts to shrink due to increased attractive force between gap and elastic restoring force in the material. With an appropriate selection of elastic constant of toroidal ferromagnetic material and design of gap structure it is possible to obtain the specified in both linear and nonlinear magnetic characteristics, such as current dependent and independent inductance.
