유통업자상표 의류 구매의도에 미치는 영향요인에 관한 연구 (Influential Factors on Customers Purchasing Intentions of Private Brand Apparel)

  • Private brands play an important role in formulating the marketing strategies of fashion goods. Merchandisers of Korean department stores are now realizing that the effective marketing of private brands can increase customers store loyalty as well as store profitability. Thus, it is important to better understand customer's decision making processes underlying the purchase of private brand apparels. However, Little research had been undertaken to examine integrated factors influencing purchases of private brand apparel. Therefore, the objective of this study is to propose a model of purchasing intentions of private brand apparel. This study pays attention to (1) perceived value, (2) familarity, (3) store image, (4) differenciated needs, (5) perceived risk, and (6) perceived quality variation of private brand. The proposed model supports all hypotheses presented in the paper. Purchase intentions of private brand increased as perceived money, familiarity, positive store image of private brands, and satisfaction of individuals differentiated needs increase. Furthermore, perceive value of private brand increased as perceived risk and quality variation of private brand increased.

교통분포, 수단선택 및 교통할당의 결합모형 (A Combined Model of Trip Distribution, Mode Choice and Traffic Assignment)

  • In this paper, we propose a parametric optimization approach to simultaneously determining trip distribution, mode choice, and user-equilibrium assignment. In our model, mode choice decisions are based on a binomial logit model and passenger and cargo demands are divided into appropriate mode according to the user equilibrium minimum travel time. Underlying network consists of road and rail networks combined and mode choice available is auto, bus, truck, passenger rail, and cargo rail. We provide an equivalent convex optimization problem formulation and efficient algorithm for solving this problem. The proposed algorithm was applied to a large scale network examples derived from the National Intermodal Transportation Plan (2000-2019).

Carrier-Mediated Tissue Distribution and Blood-Brain Barrier Transport of New Quinolones

  • Animal and clinical investigations have shown that fluoroquinolones, new quinolone antibacterial agents (NQs), are well absorbed across the intestinal tract, with a bioavailability of 60-90% after oral administration. Although some types of carrier-mediated intestinal transport mechanisms have been reported for enoxacin (ENX), ofloxacin (OFLX) and sparfloxacin (SPFX), recent results using a human intestinal epithelial cell line, Caco-2, indicated a passive or nonsaturable transport of SPFX, one of the most hydrophobic NQs. The mechanism underlying the intestinal absorption of NQs is still largely unknown. The distribution of NQs into peripheral tissues including erythrocytes is very rapid and their tissue-to-plasma concentration ratios (Kp) are considerably larger than those of inulin (an extracellular fluid space marker), in spite of almost complete ionization of NQs at the physiological pH. Our findings suggest that OFLX and lomefloxacin (LFLX) are taken up by rat erythrocytes via a transport system common to that of a water-soluble vitamin, nicotinic acid.

Estimator of Mean Residual Life for Some Parametric Families Using Censored Data

  • In this paper we consider a new estimator of mean residual life(MRL) under the random censorship model, based on the partial moment of the distribution. The parameters of a partial moment are estimated by its maximum likelihood estimators when the underlying distribution is known. Though the new estimator is not a consistent estimator of the MRL, it is shown to have smaller mean squared error than the well known empirical MRL estimator for a parametric family. We also compare the proposed estimator with some other estimators in terms of MSE for exponential and lognormal distributions using censored data.

  • In order to design a good quantizer for the underlying distribution using a training sequence (TS), the traditional approach is seeking for the empirical minimum based on the empirical risk minimization principle. As the size of TS increases, we may obtain a good quantizer for the true distribution. However, if we have a relatively small TS, searching the empirical minimum for the TS causes the overfitting problem, which even worsens the performance of the trained codebook. In this paper, the performance of codebooks trained by small TSs is studied, and it is shown that a piecewise uniform codebook can be better than an empirically minimized codebook is.

  • 본 논문은 둘 이상의 인자들로 구성된 다인자실험계획에서 검정하고자 하는 인자의 순서대립가설에 대한 분포무관인 비모수 검정법을 제안하고 제안된 검정통계량의 점근적 정규성과 기존의 검정법과의 점근상대효율에 대하여 고찰하였다. 또한, 소표본에서 Monte Carlo 연구를 통하여 실험검정력을 비교해 본 결과 두터운 꼬리를 갖는 분포에서는 제안된 검정법이 효율면에서 우수함을 보였다.

Modified Mass-Preserving Sample Entropy

  • In nonparametric entropy estimation, both mass and mean-preserving maximum entropy distribution (Theil, 1980) and the underlying distribution of the sample entropy (Vasicek, 1976), the most widely used entropy estimator, consist of nb mass-preserving densities based on disjoint Intervals of the simple averages of two adjacent order statistics. In this paper, we notice that those nonparametric density functions do not actually keep the mass-preserving constraint, and propose a modified sample entropy by considering the generalized 0-statistics (Kaigh and Driscoll, 1987) in averaging two adjacent order statistics. We consider the proposed estimator in a goodness of fit test for normality and compare its performance with that of the sample entropy.

  • 본 논문에서는 평균 잔여수명의 추정에 있어서 Weibull과 gamma 분포의 평균 잔여수명을 구하는데 적분이 쉽게 되지 않으므로 부분적률에 근거한 새로운 추정량을 제시하였으며, 비록 이 추정량은 일치추정량이 아니지만 소표본인 경우에서 일치추정량인 기존의 경험적 추정량보다 평균제곱오차가 작다는 것을 몬테칼로 기법을 써서 보였다.

  • 표본의 크기가 작아 검정 통계량의 근사분포의 정확성이 의심스러울 때, 정확검정이 종종 사용된다. 정확검정의 장점은 1종의 오류 확률이 항상 유의수준보다 작거나 같음을 보장해 준다는 것이다. 본 논문에서는 정확검 정을 만드는 여러방법, 계산 알고리듬, 그리고 상업용 소프트웨어를 살펴보겠다. 그리고 정확검정에서 얻어지는 exact p-value와 원래 우도(true likelihood)에서 얻어지는 true p-value와의 관계도 살펴보겠다.

Modified Ranked Ordering Set Samples for Estimating the Population Mean

  • We propose the new sampling method, called modified ranked ordering set sampling (MROSS). Kim and Kim (2003) suggested the sign test using the ranked ordering set sampling (ROSS), and showed that the asymptotic relative efficiency (ARE) of ROSS against RSS for sign test increases as sample size does. We propose the estimator for the population mean using MROSS. The relative precision (RP) of estimator of the population mean using MROSS method with respect to the usual estimator using modified RSS is higher, and when the underlying distribution is skewed, the bias of the proposed estimator is smaller than that of several ranked set sampling estimators.
